Babies Born October 2007 #31

And that would be me Trish ... LOL

Well I tried TT again! Still no luck. Yesterday, the tally was 2 wee's in the potty, 8 wee accidents and 2 poo accidents.... Grrr.r...... I know it was only day 1 but come on....! He'd sit on the pot for 25 minutes, then get off and wet his pants! For those girls who have a toddler too, would you recommend waiting a few months and then trying agian, or keep at it now? Toilet Trainign SUX!
Apart from that, not much new with me. I am doing a BUTTERFLY cake for Chels (surprise surprise considering her whole room is butterflies!) Should be intereseting....
Chels is cahattering non stop ATM. As soon as she hears her Daddy's car at night, she crawls to the door yelling "Dad dad!" (So cute!) She waves and claps non stop. Chases our cat around saying "Cat!" And if your talking to her, she will mimic everything you say. Its so cute!

Ange - YAY for the Hawks! I think everyone who is not a cats fan was going for them hey? I am a HUGE Crows fan, our whole house is done in Crows... LOL. But must say, I do have a soft spot for the Hawks too! Glad Lu's party went well!€

Celtic - How ya managing with your foot injury and looking after a bubba? Hope he is treating you well!

Nic & Kellie - Cant wait to see pics of your cakes!!

Tiff - Hmmmmmmm... pregnancy brain????

Trish & Becky- Thanks my foot is looking better today it bled a bit after tripping and jumping down from the retaining wall before I fell down but other than that it's not that bad. The rest of my muscles in my leg hurt from walking funny though always the way!!

Sorry to hear about the toilet training Becky, do you use those 'pull up' nappy/undie things? Then if there is an accident it contains it and doesn't really matter? Maybe wait and see how it goes? Early days

Hope it gets better ASAP

Got DP to agree to a girls name if we have a girl, still having trouble with another boys name though I like Riley he thinks two boys starting with the same letter is silly and confusing, prolly so but I still like the name anyway hehe

Just a quick selfish post from me.
Started bleeding & cramping last night in the shower not a lot but enough to make us goto the hospital to get it checked out.
Not much they could do except take my blood & send me for an scan in the morning.
Had the scan everything is fine with Cookie, growing spot on even has a huge head lol.
They think i may have a low laying placenta, she couldn't tell me for sure but according to her it's either my placenta or some membranes.
Off to see my Dr tomorrow hopefully & hoping it's nothing at all.

Dragonbub Hope you all are feeling better! Myles does his poo on the toilet! Its never too early to start i say! People laugh at me but i figure if we start doing it now we wont have a huge drama later!
Saffi i am sure L's party will be wonderfull! We would love a small get together but we have a bout 50 that are just family lol!
Julia hope maxs teeth come through easily! Good luck to your charlie tomorrow hope he wins! do they win or jsut show off iykwim?
Kazaraz Luna park sounded wonderfull! Where has the time gone hey! Can you believe that this time next month we will have one year olds on our hands lol

Kellie how is your chicken sleeping now? Myles sometimes has a night where he just wants to stay up its wiered!
Trish we went to the coast with Terri and Dom. We saw the bollywood show at the casino! so glad your ok with K weaning

Not much happening here! We went to the coast on the weekend, and Myles had his first day at the beach! He and Mateo looked oo cute int here lill swimmers! It was way to cold for a swim but he sat in a lil pool thing! Too cute!
Cant believe my lil monkey will be one tomorrow

I am so happy but sad at the same time! It all goes way to fast!

Mo - so glad everything is ok with cookie but would have been a scare for you.
Ty's teeth are still giving him greif he has been a shocker all day, dh just got him back to sleep now, poor thing wants to sleep but can clearly tell they are hurting him.
incase i dont get on tomorrow HAPPY BIRTHDAY MASTER MYLES!
Its amazing that 12months ago we were all sitting typing with HUGE aching bellies hehe

Mo - glad to hear everything is ok with Cookie. Take it easy ok!
Kaz - if I was a mature wine I'd definitely be a nice Shiraz.
Becky - better luck next time with the TT. I am sure there will be many more mistakes. Shame its so messy tho. At least now it is getting warmer he can run around the back yard in no nappy on.
Julia - good luck for Charlie in the Show. He looks like a show dog. Have you ever seen "Best in Show"? Its so funny.
Trish - bravo on 11 months! Great effort. Are you giving K formula or cows milk? L is better now. He's constantly had a cold since he started DC but apart from that he's good.

Hi to everyone else.

Cakes/party - I think we'll be going for a teddy bear theme. L has lots of teddy bears including a giant teddy bear rug in his room so probably appropriate. Good idea about the trial run.

To those with toddlers did you do onto Toddler formula or straight to cows milk?

Not much else happening here.

Hi Mo, sorry to hear you had a bit of a scare, glad the scan went ok and good luck for the doctors.

So its 3 days until Tay's birthday and I still have no cake .. argh! I am thinking of ordering sponges from Safeway and decorating them myself. Cutting the slab into a No 1 ... I am so unorganised this time around.

Becky as for the toilet training, my 2 and a half year old just doesnt want to put knickers on, so I am going to give it a break for a few weeks and come back to it. She has been holding on when I do put knickers on with her wees, has done two poos in her pants and made it to the toilet before weeing as I pulled her knickers down. I figure if she is refusing and crying when I put her knickers on she isnt quite ready. Its fun and games that is for sure!

Kazaraz - A number 1 birthday cake sounds nice and easy! At least you're trying to do it yourself, I'm still going to cheat and buy a cake!

Saffi - I've been giving K cow's milk, but I'm going to stop for a couple of days and give him other dairy foods. His poos have gone a bit yuck and I'm not sure if it's the teething or the cow's milk causing it. He isn't that keen on cow's milk, he doesn't drink much. I just really don't want to have to buy formula after getting so far! When Joel turned 1 I switched him from formula to cow's milk. A lot of the toddler formulas are high in sugar.

Nic - Poor Tyron, I hope he had a good sleep last night. I hate this teething business!

Oh my goodness, what a scare. I'm so glad that Cookie is OK. Good luck at your Dr's appointment this morning, make sure you let us know how things go.

Celtic - I'm glad your foot's on the mend, it sounds like you haven't been taking it easy! Are you going to spill and share your girl's name???

Becky - Sorry I missed you yesterday! I tend to respond to people who have posted since I last posted and I didn't see your name and hence forgot to say hello! TT is so hard, Joel wasn't fully TT'd until he turned 3. I just kept at it with him, but never pushed it too hard as I didn't want to create a negative experience for him. DH was the one who finally got him fully trained, he seemed to respond better to his dad. Good luck!

Myles says thanks for all the lovely wishes! I cannot believe a year has gone by! We are just spending the day together with daddy and then off to the park this afternoon wiht some friends! Looking forward to his party next weekend! Will be fun!

Amber - Tahlia didnt go to bed till 12 last night! i was so tired, and I think I'm getting yet another cold now! She is still asleep now so I should wake her, but I've got a headache with my cold and she always grizzles when I wake her so I dont want to!
