Thanks Nic - the list is great

Trish - glad to hear the camping trip went well. Maybe its worth getting K checked out at the docs if the diarrhea continues??

Ange - sickie burp sounds noice... not!

Kazaraz - glad to hear everything went well on the weekend. We had great weather over the weekend and today its like winter again!

Mo - love the new av!

We had our photo session on Saturday, and I've seen a sneak peak on Chrissys blog, and now I cant wait to see the rest of the pics! Even though I've only seen a sneak pic, if any of you Melb gals are after some professional photos, she is your woman! And its good to support a fellow BB'er!

Had a very hectic day yesterday, we had a christening of my friends baby, of which I was the god mother, then we had a 1st birthday party, and then we had dinner for my sister and dads birthday - what a crazy day!

Anyway, better go and get dinner ready
    Have a great night everyone

I am so happy right now... The site wasn't working for me last week and I couldn't see any new posts and I think I may have posted two similar things cuz I thought the first one didnt work, so if you had thought I had completely lost the plot, it was't all my fault!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL OF THE LITTLE PEOPLE I HAVE MISSED!

Also, Happy Anniversary to everyone that in this month I remember from last year that there was a few of us celebrating our Wedding Anniversary's in Oct. I was so exciting about our Anniversary this year cuz we are going out to dinner to this new restaurant in town (that really is NOT child friendly), but if we go out without Tiera, there is only my SIL to babysit! I really dont think I am ready for her to look after T on her own. She is 20 and loves T to bits, and T will be in bed before we leave, but I'm just really not comfortable with it! DH told me I had 4 weeks to get use to the idea and just get over it! Grrrrr The really annoyed me. So I dunno what I am going to do, I was thinking of asking my nan to come and stay for the night and baby.... hmmm I just don't know what DH will say about that.

    Anyways..........

Saffi - Congrats on you 6 years! I hope you had a great night. Its really rewarding doing you own invites isn't it?! I too do all my own invites and announcment. I bet they look great!

Alz - Good luck with the train cake! How cute

Trish - Good to hear your camping trip went well! Tiera gets a little out of sorts on the first night in a new place, the 2nd night she is usually back to noraml again. I hope K is feeling better soon. Poor little man. T gets d n nappy rash when her teeth are playing up... Its not nice!

Falguni - lol Its that sweet.... You little girl is a sharer! Dont you love that they start sharing at the wrong times! hahaha

Kazaraz - Great to hear everything went so well with Taygan's party! I can't wait to take Tiera to the zoo! I think She's love it, she laughes and pats my dogs all the time, so it would be interesting.

Kellie - Sounds like you had an action packed weekend! Gotta love em! You must be looking forward to getting you photos back! We have been talking about family pic since we had T... still waiting! lol

To anyone I may have forgotton..... HI!

I hope you have a great day all

Hi everyone....Not long till Max's birthday now! Sunday! Yaykes!

Kellie - I found the giraffe cake and I'm going to make it too.... I'm stealing your thunder!

Max is still waking up tonns in the night. He is over his illness but still wakes up and SCREAMS until I boob him! He is hysterical, thrashing around, pushing me away, just tragic! Don't know what to do! He wont have anything else, no bottle, no dummy, nothing! I really hope this is a phase! I end up taking him to the spare bed, where he sleeps, but then I am basically 'on tap' for him...he just rolls over if he has a bit of a whinge, latches and goes back to sleep.

Better go, he's standing up and can't get down! Will BBL for personals!

    Red face

    Hey ladies,

I have been lurking for the past week or so. Just been busy trying to get quotes on moving up to Mackay maybe!! Not quite sure yet. Lol. Rent up there is so expensive!! Though we are only paying $300 now and paying it to my mum so it's not really dead money but for the same up there is $500!!

Happy birthday to all the little ones that I missed!! Hope you all had a wonderful day...I know you would have all gotten spoilt!!

Well I will be back later with personals. DH is on late shift and won't be home till 9 tonight!!

Mini - Caden is the same when getting over illness. I think they can still be a bit sensitive after the symptoms have passed, but they can also get into bad habits If he is in all other ways happy and healthy, then maybe start considering some settling strategies to help him off to sleep. If mummy and boob are on tap, he will never want to settle any other way! Why would you?

Kazaraz - I will check out the cake!

Nickers - thanks for the list. Looks like the 17th will be busy!

Saffi - Happy Anniversary hun, what a great milestone! We had our 3 year one this year which was nice, but we have been together for almost 10 years which seems like more of an achievement But 6 years married is excellent.

Trish - I do portraits, paintings, caricatures, etc. I love art, and am trying to find innovative ways of combining baby and art I have done some baby portraits which I am really proud of. I will post my website when it is up and running.

Mum2Squidgee - we are getting some professional photos done here in Perth at the end of October. I think it is such a great present for grandparents that have everything! It turns out alot cheaper as well if you consider the money saved on presents.

To everyone else - hope all is well.

AS for us, having an excellent week, Caden has been such a little champ. He is so lovely when he is not sick, so much more fun. He is getting more comfortable with me out of the room, so I can duck to the loo without an audience . He is quite happy to play with his toys while I cook or clean, which means the house is much neater.

Party plans are in full swing, just need to make and freeze the cupcakes to reduce my workload on the day.

    Have a great week!

Willow's Little boy Logan was born on Nov 1st as-well.
Awww, shucks, thanks for remembering us Mo!! Lovin' the av by the way, very envious of that bump!

Hey everyone, I can't even remember when I last posted so just going to do a global "hi" and "Happy birthday!!" for all the little ones I have missed.

Things going great here. Back at work 2 days a week - first week was hell but we're settling in nicely now. Lovin' the extra money and have gone a bit crazy shopping, clothes, perfume, white goods, new leather lounge...LOL! Ah well, why not, have being living to a budget for 12 months so going a little crazy for a few weeks buying all the stuff we've been holding off on.

L is sleeping through the night - WOOOT!! Does 7pm-6-6.30am...still eluding 12 hours but hey, I'll take 11 hours uninterrupted sleep!

We are still b'feeding and no plans to stop, he's down to about 3-4 feeds during the day now and doesn't feed at all overnight anymore (did I forget to say WOOT!!?? LOL)

Not long till his bday now...we got our b'day invites from a MPM, Little Fig Creations (Summerluven) she's actually one of my best friends so she does all our stuff - they turned out awesome as usual!! I am playing it a bit safe on his cake and just doing the ole number 1 with smarties...my mum is trying to convince me to do the train but I'm still not convinced!!

Anyway, best be off. I lurk often but don't always get to post, especially when I'm at work.

PS Trish - glad to hear the trip went well! I was thinking of you and hoping K slept! Hopefully his tooth/teeth will pop soon and he'll stop waking again. L is cutting a new tooth too atm, but thankfully it's not interupting his sleep at night.

kazaraz - the cake looks great!

Julia - a word of warning with the cake, the orange rollups that the recipe mentions are no longer made! What I ended up using was the orange fruit bars that you get in the muesli bar section at the supermarket! Good Luck!

Willow - Woot on the sleeping!!!

    K back for personals......

Rhys has had gastro since last friday on top of everything else and is finally back to his happy self today. Though he isn't a whingy sick baby thank goodness.

Trish - We are moving for DH job and also I just want a change in scenery!! Don't ask me how long I will last cause all my family is here in brisbane and Dh mum moved up from melbourne when Rhys was born to become closer to DH and also Rhys and she is going to be heart broken when we tell her what we are doing. Can we come to your house for tea??

Willow - I did the exact same thing when I started working again but it didn't last very long cause I was missing Rhys too too too too much. I only went back to work to get my independence back but I am happy without it now!!

Pish - I am the exact same as Trish. I only trust my mum and my little sister if it is only for like a 1 hour - 3 hours stint. I ope you find someone soon.

Ange - Well at least she shares but you just have to teach her now what to share and what not too. I wish Rhys would share.

Kellie - You so have to show us once you get the pics back. I am thinking of getting some done soon but I think with everything else going on it is going to be a bit later in the year!! Maybe it can be my christmas present!!

Mo - Sexy av for a sexy mama!!

Kazaraz - Cake looks awesome!! Good job....I hope my monkey turns out well!!

Well that is all I can remember for now.

    To all those that I missed.... HI!! And to all those bubs with birthday I missed or coming in the next few days.....H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y ! ! ! !

    G'day all,

At my parents about to pack up and head back. Went to the naturopathic/nutrionist lady for Ryan, he's on Breuners Wellness Tonic, Cod Liver Oil (Orange flavoured for kids 0-2years 4 drops a day) and some kids probiotics that get mixed into his bottle 3 times a day. It's only been a day and already he's woken up without pulling his ears, his nose isn't running and he hasn't had any reflux! Fingers crossed it keeps going, she also gave me a recipe to cure a ear infection naturally.

    Get Garlic Oil capsules
    Castor Oil

Puncture and squeese out the garlic oil onto a hot spoon, add the same amount in castor oil and wait till warmed. Gently pour down the ear and stick some cotton wool in their ear and try and keep them laying on their side for a few minutes. Allow the cotton wool to absorb the oil as it comes back out. Do this twice a day till well. She said she did it with all her kids and they never needed antibiotics for ear infections . Cost me $150 to be told that so I hope it helps someone out hehe

One step forward, two steps back! I shouldnt have bragged about Tay sleeping through. We had a shocker of a night last night, she was happy enough, when we let her crawl around! She was chatting and carrying on, at 11.30pm! She did go down well I will give her that, but then Mia decided she didnt want to sleep and screamed the house down. Waking Tay in the process. I think they were both settled by 12.30am this morning and Tay didnt get up until 9am. Mia a little earlier and she was grumpy because she had a blocked nose!

So my DH has gone to Sydney for work until Friday night, then he is back and probably back there next week for the whole week. So I am baching it this week. You might get lots of venting on here, because 24 hours a day with the girls alone is bound to drive me around the bend! Why are 2 year old so naughty??

Hey everyone! Yes I must admit I have been lurking a little! I have been so busy trying to get things organised and working every day!
DH is still barely at home and between work and sleep I think I see him for about an hour a day. He is missing so much with little miss C. But he quit his job yesterday! YAY (sort of). LOOOONg story there.
Happy birthday to all the "big kids" now!! Caitlyn is not too far off! thats one thing that is keeping me busy. I am trying to organise things for her birthday. We have decided instead of a big cake we are going to do some vanilla, chocolate and pink cupcakes and stack them up all nice and pretty. Can then freeze what we dont use/eat and take themto daycare the following week. My parents and my sister arrive from Townsville on Sunday after noon (of course my brother couldnt make it!) and my sister is staying with me so thats another thing i am trying to organise - room for her in my little tiny cottage house! Oh and now that its for sale - there are pictures of it on the net!
And the last thing i am tryong to get happening - drum roll please.......we are finalyl moving back to Townsville!! Not until Feb but at least you all have something to look forward to....me not whinging about cloncurry!!
Now - Caitlyn - she has dropped a day sleep and now only has 1 one hour nap duriong the day. She will stay upo till 6-7pm and most nights sleep through until around 6-630. NICE!! She is trying to stand up by herself but is not quite successfull yet. But its sooo exciting!! Oh and she is down to 3 bottles a day. has anyone started bubs on cows milk?? How do you do it...half formula half cows or half water half cows?? have no idea. Or does anyone got their bub on the next stage formula??
Now for the bad news....got a letter from the pap smear register the other day to inform me that I am well and truely overdue! then my doc surgery rang and told me to make an appoint then my old specialist rang and told me to make an appointment. Everyone must have gotten a copy of the letter. Anyway - went in yesterday and had it done (oh gotta love the dignity!) and it turns out that I have cervical polyps and now i have to go back to townsille in november (such a shame) and see my specialist again. (Oh i dont think i have explained that i have had surgery twice for precancerous changes!) so yeah great fantastic - just what i need!! less stress!! now i have to wait a week for the result (they need a hair pulling smiley here!)
Anyway - enough about that! I had better go and get some dinner organised. I hope you all had a fantastic day!
