    G'day all,

At my parents about to pack up and head back. Went to the naturopathic/nutrionist lady for Ryan, he's on Breuners Wellness Tonic, Cod Liver Oil (Orange flavoured for kids 0-2years 4 drops a day) and some kids probiotics that get mixed into his bottle 3 times a day. It's only been a day and already he's woken up without pulling his ears, his nose isn't running and he hasn't had any reflux! Fingers crossed it keeps going, she also gave me a recipe to cure a ear infection naturally.

    Get Garlic Oil capsules
    Castor Oil

Puncture and squeese out the garlic oil onto a hot spoon, add the same amount in castor oil and wait till warmed. Gently pour down the ear and stick some cotton wool in their ear and try and keep them laying on their side for a few minutes. Allow the cotton wool to absorb the oil as it comes back out. Do this twice a day till well. She said she did it with all her kids and they never needed antibiotics for ear infections . Cost me $150 to be told that so I hope it helps someone out hehe

One step forward, two steps back! I shouldnt have bragged about Tay sleeping through. We had a shocker of a night last night, she was happy enough, when we let her crawl around! She was chatting and carrying on, at 11.30pm! She did go down well I will give her that, but then Mia decided she didnt want to sleep and screamed the house down. Waking Tay in the process. I think they were both settled by 12.30am this morning and Tay didnt get up until 9am. Mia a little earlier and she was grumpy because she had a blocked nose!

So my DH has gone to Sydney for work until Friday night, then he is back and probably back there next week for the whole week. So I am baching it this week. You might get lots of venting on here, because 24 hours a day with the girls alone is bound to drive me around the bend! Why are 2 year old so naughty??

Hey everyone! Yes I must admit I have been lurking a little! I have been so busy trying to get things organised and working every day!
DH is still barely at home and between work and sleep I think I see him for about an hour a day. He is missing so much with little miss C. But he quit his job yesterday! YAY (sort of). LOOOONg story there.
Happy birthday to all the "big kids" now!! Caitlyn is not too far off! thats one thing that is keeping me busy. I am trying to organise things for her birthday. We have decided instead of a big cake we are going to do some vanilla, chocolate and pink cupcakes and stack them up all nice and pretty. Can then freeze what we dont use/eat and take themto daycare the following week. My parents and my sister arrive from Townsville on Sunday after noon (of course my brother couldnt make it!) and my sister is staying with me so thats another thing i am trying to organise - room for her in my little tiny cottage house! Oh and now that its for sale - there are pictures of it on the net!
And the last thing i am tryong to get happening - drum roll please.......we are finalyl moving back to Townsville!! Not until Feb but at least you all have something to look forward to....me not whinging about cloncurry!!
Now - Caitlyn - she has dropped a day sleep and now only has 1 one hour nap duriong the day. She will stay upo till 6-7pm and most nights sleep through until around 6-630. NICE!! She is trying to stand up by herself but is not quite successfull yet. But its sooo exciting!! Oh and she is down to 3 bottles a day. has anyone started bubs on cows milk?? How do you do it...half formula half cows or half water half cows?? have no idea. Or does anyone got their bub on the next stage formula??
Now for the bad news....got a letter from the pap smear register the other day to inform me that I am well and truely overdue! then my doc surgery rang and told me to make an appoint then my old specialist rang and told me to make an appointment. Everyone must have gotten a copy of the letter. Anyway - went in yesterday and had it done (oh gotta love the dignity!) and it turns out that I have cervical polyps and now i have to go back to townsille in november (such a shame) and see my specialist again. (Oh i dont think i have explained that i have had surgery twice for precancerous changes!) so yeah great fantastic - just what i need!! less stress!! now i have to wait a week for the result (they need a hair pulling smiley here!)
Anyway - enough about that! I had better go and get some dinner organised. I hope you all had a fantastic day!

    Morning ladies!
Well I have worked out that it is only my desktop computer that wont lwt me see new posts on this site... The Lap top works, so we'll stick to that!
Had a terrible night with Tiera... She kept waking up for seemingly no freak'n reason. Every time I put her back down she'd either wke straigh up or wait until I had just got back to bed and she'd wake up crying! I really dont know what was wrong with her, but she wasn't a hapy chappy! So this morning I have been a little on the cranky side and sorta took it out on DH and then he got really cranky and stormed out... Oh dear, I wish I could control myself better sometimes! Hmmm well he's over it now.... I think..... I am still cranky but not letting it show! When im tired I also get cuddley and it drives DH up the wall. The poor thing can't just go to work and have a break from us cz we live n work at the same place! lol oh dear, poor thing. Oh well I guess the day can only get better for all of us.

Saffi - I hope you are enjoying your day off! Theres nothing better

Becky - Glad to hear you had a great night last night, sux about the movie though

Rebecca - You must really be looking forward to going back to your hometown with all of your family! RE Moo Milk..... I just made all of Tiera's milk based food (ie breakfast) with f/c milk, then just replaced a FF with f/c milk and just gave her f/c milk when the formular was finished. I have already got her only Moo Milk, no forular any more which the Comm nurse doesn't have a prob with cuz T is very health and really doesn't get sick. I have T on milk in a cup at morning tea time and a warm bottle of milk before bed now adn water throughout the day. Some days I do give her 50/50 juice, but to be honest she prefers straight water.

SYD mummas - Do any of you meet up at all? If any of you are interested in metting up let me know and we can organise a day and place... I do live in Forster, but as I dont work I can come down whenever these days. I'd love to put faces to names!

Facebooker - For those of you that I haven't yet got on my facebook, My name is Tiffany Kingsmill - There is a pic of me on the quad with my dog on the back. I love seeing all the bubs pics and what everyone has been up to, feel free to add me.

I hope you all have a great day. A big hello to anyone I missed.
    Take care

    Hi everyone,
Thanks for the support everyone with regards to my grandma. You wont believe it. Ethan lost the present she gave him. So cross!!!! I know where to get the present so I will go and buy him another one.

Well I am still sick. Kept dh up all night last night coughing. I have another doctors appointment today so hopefully they can do something this time.

Ethan is being an angel today. We drove up to Newcastle yesterday so it was a big day for him. He is catching up on his sleep today. Been asleep for 2.5 hours which is lovely.

I probably sound like a broken record. I want to know about cow's milk. We switched Ethan a couple of weeks ago. I am just really confused about how much he should be having. Some people say 2 cups, some 3 some say it doesn't matter as long as he is getting calcium. How much should he have? At the moment on a good day he will have half a cup at morning tea and about 100mls before bed. He also has some on his cereal and I try and give him some cheese or a yoghurt or a custard every day as well. Does this sound right? He has always been a pain to get milk into.

    Anyway, thanks for the advice.

Alz - you don't actually have to give him cow's milk at all. Other sources of dairy are fine, so if he's having cheese, yoghurt, custard etc etc then it really doesn't matter how much milk you give him, even none at all is fine if he doesn't want it! After I stopped b'feeding DD at 16 months, she had a bit of milk in a cup on the mornings I went to work and that was it. That was only so she had something until she got to MIL's and had her b'fast there. Other then that, I didn't bother with it.
