Good morning ladies! I've read a couple of the last pages and see some of you that I remember from our belly buddy group have had babies or are expecting! Congratulations!! I don't recognize many names here anymore though which is sad!

It's nice to read about your little people who are so big now! Rochelle is very good, can talk to make ears bleed but she always manages to make us laugh and we enjoy how affectionate she is. She loves being a big sister and it makes my heart sing seeing them play together or Rochelle show her little sister a book, 'See booky, this is a cow! Mooo mooo! See?'. Definitely a crack up... Even brooky can't help but laugh! The girls have been good to me, both still having four hours sleep during the day and twelve over night. I think Ro mainly still has four now because she likes to have a sleep while her sister does... But somedays she won't have the entire four which is fine.

Anyhow, I thought I'd just check in to see what your all up to while I checked in with my belly buddies group! We are so excited to be expecting our 5th family member!!!

I hope everyone is well and enjoying good health and times with their loved ones!

    Catherine.

    Hi everyone

Catherine - 5th family member?? Are you pregnant?? Great to hear that the girls are treating you well. I love how Lochie and Immi interact. He is a very caring big brother and she thinks he is very funny. Hopefully they will grow up being best friends.
Kellie - I was born at FP House! We're the same in that L was born at the old hospital and M was born at the new one. Those 6 weeks will go by quickly I'm sure.
Kaz - glad to hear that you are getting out without the kids.
Hello to everyone else. Stop lurking and come say hi!

AFU - we are all well. L had a gunky eye over the weekend but he is fine now. M has a rattly chest and a cough but other than that is really getting into solids. I now feed her twice a day. Still on the RC and the purees. M is settling into daycare. Still gets a bit upset and a bit hard to settle and stay asleep but the carers are happy with her progress. Three weeks until I start back at work. Had to go to a course for work yesterday so made the trip into town. I surprised myself in that I was able to concentrate and participate in adult conversation talking about things other than kids. Hopefully this week I will be able to catch up on some sleep and also get some things done around the house.

Hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Hi Catherine sounds like you have a wonderful little family there best of luck with your new addition!

    Sorry if I missed anyone!

AFU last week was pretty bad so thats why I havent been on...first I was sick then hurt my neck and jsut a really downer week! Myles is going ok he has really hit terrible twso for sure, he is really pushing boundaries, which i know is normal behaviour and i dont want to break his wonderful spirit for life but we are going to ahve to do something so any ideas would be great
As for FLynn he is beautiful, so quiet and relaxed, we have to get his needles done soon which i am not looking forward to. But he is rolling over and growning up way too quick!

anyway after my novel I will leave you in peace lol!

Amber What is happening with Myles that has you concerned (apart from the MooGoo incident!). I can bet you're the best Mum for him, wanting to nurture that gorgeous spirit of his. I guess he has to know where there is a line that shouldn't be crossed. Like in a dangerous situation like crossing the road, or putting something small up his brothers nose. It all sounds like totally normal behaviour to me....Max always erks me when I need to put his clothes on in the morning (which is why he's naked so often!) It is so annoying....him struggling, and me basically fighting him to put his shorts & t-shirt on.....I get so mad coz I just don't want to fight for something so easy! I guess it takes a while for things to click in their head as to the easy non-angry-mummy way of doing things! Max even tells me I'm mean (that was his Dad's fault!). Then on the other hand, Max can be so much fun, telling me he loves me randomly, and giving me cuddles and kisses....he always wants to play with me, and can still fall asleep on my lap....bless! I suppose you have to look at the good things and just realise that with boundaries (which have to be there) the bad will get easier as they realise the boundaries are there for a reason, not to make their little lives 'un-fun'!

Catherine Hi, and congrats on your baby #3! When will the next one make it earthside?

Saffi Gawd work....I don't know if I'd know what to do there anymore...I'm making myself workforce redundant! Hopefully M will be settled into daycare nicely by the time 3 weeks are up.

I'm so excited to be going home on Thursday....although some family 'issews' are making my Mum a bit down in the dumps so I hope she will be OK. I feel so bad being away sometimes Not that I am the saviour of all things, but I do want to help.

    hi to everyone and hugs!

    Hi everyone!

Julia - Max is just so cute! How long will you stay in WA before heading back to Singas? We're heading your way in early October, but I'm sure you will well and truly back OS by then!

Amber - Sorry you've been feeling so yuck . The photos of Myles and the Moogoo incident on FB are so funny! K is always testing the boundries, so normal hey! He gets put in time out for 2 minutes if he's still naughty after being warned. I ask him to say sorry and we have a hug and he is back to being an angel again LOL! We usually make it fun, like if he's hit Joel, after time-out and apologies DH will say "Put that whacker in the bin!" and he is all giggles .

Saffi - Glad to hear M is settling in .

Catherine - Lovely to hear from you . Ro sounds like she's a great big sister! Congrats on the new family member-to-be! When are you due?

Kellie - I can't believe you only have 6 weeks to go

Nic - Have you started your new job yet?

Kaz - Luka is SUCH a cutie! It looks like his big sisters love him to bits

All is good here, it's our 8th wedding anniversary today. I cooked DH his favourite meal and we took the kids for a walk to the park. Very relaxing . It was cute watching DH use Joel's scooter with K riding on the front with him, he's such a great dad, the boys love him so much! K can actually ride a two wheel aluminium scooter quite well now thanks to watching Joel!

Anyway, I'd better run. The boys are still up so I'd better help put them to bed!

    Mo - about 5 hours.. I can't believe K is almost 1!

Julia - hope you have a good trip home! I wish you were coming to Melbourne too!

Trish - Happy Anniversary for the other day! Mine is this Saturday and we are going out kid-free! Figure it will be the last time we do that for a while!

Had another ob appt this morning, she has referred me for a sizing scan as I am now measuring 36 weeks. Talked to her about what induction methods she would use, and she said that if I am favourable, it would just be a matter of breaking my waters, and if not, then gel and breaking of waters. She was very confident that I wouldnt need the drip... have anyone of you had inductions as well as natural labours? I need some feedback from people!

so do you think that K's labour was harder or easier? or the same? and what was the time difference?

K's labour was so much better & easier. I only pushed for 10 mins or 2 contractions, no tearing only a slight graze & i handled the contractions much better. Maddi was 17hrs & Kodi was 2hrs but Maddi was posterior so that made my labour longer.
Guess the only downfall to Kodi's labour was the PPH afterwards, but my OB kinda expected that & he had every thing on standby.

If we ever have a 3rd it will be interesting to see if i have an even quicker labour.

    OMG Kellie ... getting close!

sorry, yes I have been lurking and keeping up to date with everyone's news! all ok here, had gynie appointment today. all went well, apparently everything that is happening with me (on and off bleeding, losing clots, lots of pains) can be normal after 3 c sections. if i get more bleeding i will have a gynalogical ultrasound. she said that i could also be confusing my body as i have been expressing every now and then when my boobs get sore. she said this would be producing progesterone which makes my body get ready for a period. whoops! better take her advice and wear a tight bra and leave my boobs alone!

    Hello everyone

Mo - welcome back. I missed you. Can't wait to see the photos of K's birthday party. I hope you all have a great day.
    Kaz - hello.
Kellie - labour started spontaneously with L but as I hadn't progressed after 22 hours as he was posterior I had to be induced (contractions still 10 mins apart). Had the drip and my waters were broken. Once that happened it all went really quickly (about 4 hours) and the pain levels certainly increased. Didn't need any induction assistance with M and was in labour with her for 17.5hours. I think the pain levels were worse with her but I also was left alone and not given any assistance by way of pain relief or pain relieving positions until I was pretty much exhausted. Had an epi both times.

All going well with us. 2 weeks now until go back to work. DH starts leave next week so that will be nice to do some stuff alone with him. Might try to get a few trips in to the movies and have some lunches out.

Anyway, better go be a (not so) desperate housewife and do some chores.

    Have a good weekend.

Kodi's party went really well, everyone actually listen to what i said about toys & brought her heaps of winter clothes or gave us money.
Kodi is officially walking now, she still crawls a little but walking is becoming her new fav thing to do.

    Hi everyone
Mo and Saffi - thanks for the info, I've got a few things to think about!

Mo - glad to hear K's party went well, hipe she had a fantastic day!

Nic - havent had it yet, got the scan this Thursday so looking forward to seeing Peanut again, and then I see my ob again next week

2 more days of work left for me! I can't wait! Found out the other day that apparently tahlia is telling everyone at child care that she is having a baby brother, so thought that was pretty cute, even though I dont think she has any idea what she is in for!

T is being a pain in the butt with sleep at the moment, waking up pretty much every morning around 5ish, and sometimes overnight as well. Anyone else have similar problems?
