Spoke too soon. L has his dummy back! He woke me up that night yelling and crying like he was having a nightmare. The only way he could be consoled was to have his dummy. Tried again the next night but he wanted it back. Oh well - we'll get there. Thanks for the messages tho!

Seems the osteo has helped, he is still windy, but nowhere as bad as he was. We haven't had any inconsolable pain cries since we went and not sure if its a coincidence or not, but the real smiles have started too

Saffi - Same here...Max is still megga attached to his "num num" So much so that he has TWO he takes to bed. One for his gob and one to rub on his face! It sux in the night when he loses one! I plan on getting rid of it at Xmas time....going to tell him reinders love to eat them!

Been having a hard time with Max the last couple of days....MEGGA MEGGA tantrums....he keeps making me cry! I can't even talk about it

Oh, big hugs Julia . I went through the same issues with Joel when K was born. I wonder if any of you remember me posting that while I was bathing K, Joel went outside and threw a rock at the window and glass shattered over K and I? I was only just thinking of that a couple of days ago! I found it so hard in the beginning, Joel would act so naughty - kicking me in the legs while I b'fed K, banging the walls up the hallway while I was trying to settle K down for a nap, etc. He is not that kind of kid, so it was a huge shock and I found it really hard to cope with . It does get better, I promise. They just need some time to adjust to sharing mummy. You are doing a great job and things will start settling down soon .

Oh and Joel used to have THREE dummies LOL! He had one in his mouth, one to rub under his nose and one in his spare hand haha! Luckily K is happy with one dummy!

Mo - How exciting thinking about bub #3! You guys make such cute babies

Kellie - I'm soooo glad the osteo has helped! I swear by our paediatric chiro .

Saffi - Bummer that getting rid of the dummy didn't last, but he'll get there eventually! I'm thinking of giving K's to Santa if I can wait that long!!

Kaz - How are you all feeling atm? I hope you are recovering from that nasty flu .

Amber - I love your naming day photos, they are just gorgeous! Hope you and the gorgeous boys are going well

All is good with us, nothing very exciting to report! K is his usual cute self, he's right into playdough atm. He has such a great attention span and will sit for ages "creating" playdough things.

Joel is going well at school, I've been approached by two different mums who have said really lovely things about him . One said he is very friendly and went out of his way to look after her son on his first day of school (they just moved from O/S) and another (who does classroom help) said he is a sweet natured boy, really well behaved and a delight, awww, I am so proud of him! It's nice to hear positive feedback, I always seem to doubt myself as a mum.

Alana is just gorgeous, getting into everything and such a happy little thing. She smiles at anyone and we get a lot of comments when out and about. The school crossing man loves her because she gives him a smile every morning! She also smiles to greet all my customers which is great for business LOL!

We're most likely going to go on our trip to WA in September/October after all. Alana is getting better in the car so we think we might go while DH still has a job! The automotive industry is so dicey in Australia, we don't know how much longer until it all moves O/S. He has a company car and the company pays for fuel, so we may as well use it while we can!!

Anyway, I'd better go and wake some sleepy boys up to get them ready for the school run. Hope everyone is well!

Julia - must be pretty tough on the little fella adjusting to all the changes. He'll get used to the idea, just needs a bit of time and lots of hugs and kisses. In no time he'll adore his little sister. How's little Darcie doing? Hope you are getting some rest.
Trish - yeah, I remember that now. J sounds like such a great kid (smashing windows aside).

We had TT success today. L went to the toilet on his own and did a #2! (sorry if TMI). He wears undies at DC so when he comes home he's still in them. I reminded him what to do if he needed to go and next thing I know he's announcing he's going off to the toilet. Next thing is to have him wear undies at home all the time. How's everyone else going with TT?

Everything going well here. M has stood by herself a few times. She knows what she's doing and you can see she's proud of herself.

Thanks Girls

Max has been much better the last couple of days. It's weird that he is actually better behaved when DH isn't around! I think Max tries REALLY hard to get his attention, but because DH is constantly tuned into his blackberry for work, he tries to get attention by acting up. Being WOMEN we are much better at being able to multitask...as in....feed baby, do house stuff, AND pay attention to grumpy nose out of joint toddler at the same time! Yesterday Max, Darcie and I even went off to the CHN by ourselves....and it wasn't as bad as I had expected. I CAN do this!

Saffi TT - Max has been TT'd for a while now (even CHN was pretty impressed) but does have accidents as he tends to hold on till the last minute, and when I ask him if he needs to go (when I see his funny wee or poo dance) he denies he needs to go! He can't go by himself though which is a bit of a pain....he doesn't use a potty, wants to go on the toilet so always wants me to help him. I need tips on getting him to try it by himself. I might have to get one of those ladder loo seat thingys.

OK....I want to change my username....now I have two kiddies! I'm not just a mother to a MiniMax....but also a MiniMe!! So help me girls...you all know me best

Mo - still havent got a hammock. Trying to justify to DH that the expense is worth it, although Lewis is heaps better now so maybe we don't need it... who knows!

Julia - sorry to hear Max is giving you a hard time. I found that Tahlia especially played up when I am feeding, so now she has a special colouring book and textas that she is allowed to use on her table (which is next to me) when I am feeding. It seems to distract her cause she is fascinated by textas! New user name.... mmmm... let me think about that one!!

Trish - how exciting about your trip to WA!

Saffi - woo hoo on the TT success! We are going quite well with the TT, Tahlia only wears a nappy overnight now, and for the past week or so, that is dry in the morning, but I'm not game enough to leave her in undies overnight just yet!

Not much new happening with us, Lewis is a different baby after being treated by the osteo and Tahlia is the best big sister, she loves her little brother so much! And I've had 2 nights in a row of over 8 hours between feeds... I hope that continues!
