Oh no Nikki - that sounds terrible...Oh the poor little thing...What will they do at the hospital?? Normally they don't let the kids sit around...I know when Louis had croup I didn't even sit down in the waiting room - we got sent straight through...
Is he sleeping ok?? Will he maybe be more relaxed spending the night at home?

Let us know how you go...thinking of you and poor little Harry..

Nikki - I hope things are better this morning, or you at least have a better idea of whats going on now. poor little Harry

Milo has an ear infection, which explains the waking at night and temps. I saw a different doctor today, and she reckons he must've had it in one ear, which was clearing when I took him to the GP one Monday, but now its in the other ear. So more Amoxyl. I am sure he must be building up immunity to it by now...

Kristie, LOL at the playdough..we haven't been game enough to go on to the playdough yet, there is enough frustration at our pace when the crayons come out!

    Hi!

Rachael - Poor Milo!! I hope he gets better soon...poor little munchkin!

I heard from Nikki this morning...Poor Harry has been admitted to hospital and has bronchiolitis (sp?) and perforated ear drums...Get better soon Harry!!!

Just had Dylans check up - he's now 5.95kg and 60.5cm! Wow!! He's definitely bigger than Louis was!! He's doing well but his skin's flared up again on his chest which is no good...we tried derm-eze stuff but I think the sorbolenes doing a better job...I just really don't want to use the steroid cream...

    Is it eczema Kristie?
I tried so much natural stuff for Milo, but we ended up with elocon, which is still a steroid, but not cortisone. I've also found the QV baby balm and bath oil are great in between flareups.

Nikki I am so sorry to hear about Harry I hope he gets better soon. I hope CHantelle is feeling better aswell.
Krisite yeah on Dylans weight and length. We had to use perscription cream on jordans cradle cap. We only need to for short time and then went away. I hope the natural stuff works well for you though
Rachel I hope Milo gets better soon. Gee it seems everyone is sick at the moment
Cindy I hope work went well. I know how you feel about getting organised for a day at work. YOu have to pack the bag with clothes and nappies. Toys for them to play with and for my mum food aswell. Then getting them organised in the morning, we just go in pjs and dressing gown. I am sure Al will be fine having the girls. He will certain get to see what a fantastic job you do with coping with it all, housework included.

Well got my haircut today which has made me feel great. I havent had it done since january. Jordan and i went back to the play centre today but with a friend and her 3 kids, Jordan had a great time. We then went out for lunch, jamie jordan our friend and I. Jamie didnt go to work today. We had a great day. Jordan now in bed for the night. Hopefully he will sleep better than last night.
He woke up several times crying, I think night terrors. He was so awful last night after coming home from my mums. He always seems to be really grumpy. I really wonder whether he gets over stimulated or just hates being there...... I wish i could see what goes on when he is there.
Anyways hope you all have a nice night.
    Take care

    Hello Ladies,
I am back online with a band new laptop, Yeah!!!!
My brother went into JB and got me a new Isus notebook, catch is I have to pay for it….
Anyway I am very happy to be able to be chatting with you all again, it has been 3 weeks and I have so missed catching up with all of your news.
I have been to see my friend from MG who I was saying was having a baby the other day. She had a little boy and named him Ethan, very cute.
Oh the story with Mil goes, I had teed up with her to look after Jett as Ben and I were both working. Anyway 5 minutes before Ben was due to leave for work she calls and says she is busy and can’t have him. I still had and hour and a bit to go and Ben was due at work. Anyway turns out she rang back and said that she could have him but we had to drop him off about 20 minutes away, but she had told me the week before that she would pick him up. What it with that??
Anyway Ben flipped it and we haven’t seen her for 3 weeks now, she is over every 2nd day so we have noticed her not around.
We just can’t rely on her, if she didn’t want to have him she should have just said.
Anyway I have now patched things up with MIL, it wasn't that big of a deal and for J
Jett’s sake it was better. It had already been 3 weeks since he had seen MIL and SIL. SIL has had all her hair cut off and Jett didn’t even know who she was, it is so short. She had really long hair and now she looks like a boy, very sad. She said that the hairdresser cut to much off it, opps!!
I hope all of the sick bubba's get well very soon.
Now that I have a computer I will go back throught the post and catch up.
    Night all

    Welcome back Dani!

Nikki - I think our kids all have something atm. I hope little Harry isn't too bad?

Kristie - My friend had her baby boy on Wednesday arvo at about 2pm naturally. He weighed in at only 7pound 11ounces. She was happy not to be pushing the 10 pounder they were expecting. I haven't gone to see little Nate yet, as I might get too attached and want to take him home. Yep, the cluckiness has started for sure now. My brother's girlfriend is due to pop in another couple of weeks too.

    Hi!

Cindy - hope you got some sleep last night!

Dani - Great to hear from you!!! Hope to see you around here more often now!! Sorry to hear about MIL - that would be soo frustrating!

Melissa - Yeah for your friend - geez they really can get it wrong can't they?? Glad she did so well!
It's funny...now that I've had that scare with being p/g it just makes me so sure I want another baby!!!(not that I want one right now though!) Dylan's growing up soo fast - the time really does fly! I felt clucky the same time after having Louis - around 3-4 months after...maybe another 2 yet?? If I can talk Michael into it! hehehe. Might have a battle on my hands there...

Tracey - the haircut sounds great. I'm thinking its time I had mine done again. I always feel good when I get my haircut (well when I get it coloured especially).

Melissa - that's great for your friend! DH loves the name Nate, it was on his list for last time.

Kristie - 4..wow. DH is trying to talk me into 3 (mainly cos he wants to be a SAHD I think), will see if we can manage 2 first.

Dani - nice job with the new laptop! We need to update our computer. My accountant wrote it off last year, and is going to be cranky that I've not yeat bought a replacement for him to start depreciating! We got a second hand Mac for free, but its a bit off a PIA cos we have to manually plug/unplug the monitor at the moment.

Nikki - I hope little Harry is improving

Well, Milo slept til 5:30am, I'm rapt. Its the first time he has slept to a reasonable hour (6-6:30 is normal for him, so 5:30 isn't that early) in almost a week. I hope that means that he's getting better.

I am starting the Tony Ferguson diet today, wish me luck. I've been really good at going to gym, so hopefully between the two something good will happen. Is signed up on the blackmores website for 8 weeks of motivational emails for losing weight too, so am diving in at the deep end.

    Hi!

Rachael - Wow thats great - hope you lose what you want!! I'm going no-where with it at the moment really...I'm starting to feel really gross...hopefully I'll start losing a bit in time for summer!
We're definitely having one more so I'm hoping I can play the - can't have a middle child card and he'll let me have another one - LOL!!
Glad Milo seems to be getting better!!

Ooh forgot to say - I know I'm getting ahead of myself but was thinking we could have a joint b'day party for the kids in Oct! Was thinking it might be fun to head to either Melb or Werribee zoo?? Lots of room for the kids to run around and we could all just bring a picnic or I'm not sure if they have bbq's...They could play some games etc and maybe just a kris kringle type thing for a pressie...Let me know what you think!!!

Sounds good to me. We have a zoo membership

I will find out if the Werribee Open Range Zoo has BBQs. I know they have lawn to picnic on, and also a few covered 'pavillion' type things, but they're a first in first server thing.

I've never been to Werribee zoo but I think the kids would love it!

Just had a message from Nikki -

Harry is not eating and has had a fever overnight...will have to stay in hospital again tonight.

Poor little munckin..he's really having a rough trot of it...Sending lots of get well smooches your way Harry!

Louis is driving me bananas...he's really hard to get down for his day sleeps now...It annoys me so much that I'm tempted to just let him go without it and put him down earlier in the evening...
He's having about a 1 1/2-2 hour nap from about 1pm (although I tried a bit earlier today to see if it would make a difference) and then we try and put him down by about 7-7.30pm and he usually mucks around for at least 30min...Earlier in the week when he missed his day sleep he actually went to sleep without a fuss...hmm I don't know...

    Hi Ladies

Krisite I guess if Louis can handle dropping the afternoon sleep it should be ok but can you handle it? I know I love that time just for me. If he is still sleeping maybe put up with the little bit of drama. A joint bday party sounds a like a great idea.
Dani Nice to have you back. thats terrible about your MIL. Its awful when people are unreliable, especially when you have to go to work.
Rachel good luck with the weight loss.
Nikki we are thinking of you and hope Harry gets better.
Cindy hope you got a good rest.

Well Jordan had a good day at my MIL, he is always so good when he comes home from there. We have just had chinese for tea and now its BB and then top model.
We have a christening/1st bday on the weekend so have to go buy a present for the little girl. I am thinking a pram/stroller and a doll.
    Have a great weekend everyone

    Hi!

Tracey - Yeah..he eventually went to sleep for a couple of hours so I think he does need it...today he must have had a funny belly because when I went in for the 10th time he'd done poos...after I changed him he went back to sleep.
Glad you enjoyed your chinese - we had fish and chips which was good that I didn't have to cook!
I've written my list for the target sale which starts on Thursday - I'm soo excited! I'm also buying presents on behalf of my mum, dad and sister for the kids so I think I'm getting everything I want for them! hehe. Plus I haven't gone over budget yet so it gives me another 5 months to see things that I like! Mind you if Michael new what my "budget" was he'd probably have a heart attack...he already thinks I'm getting way too many toys - but I have Louis' b'day and then both kids for xmas...

Hope you all have a good weekend! Michael's working tomorrow and we just have a quiet one planned!
