Pam that is wonderful news about your test results. I am so happy for you
eej: Hoping you are feeling better and the blocked duct has gone away.
Captain. I hear you on the barking dogs. We have them on both sides of our house. M now sleeps through the little yappers but not the big dogs on the other side.
Life is so busy here at the moment with no signs of things letting up. Mum has nearly finished her cancer treatment so we have been taking her in and out to the hospital. She finished her chemo and radiotherapy the other week and has been staying with us. She has 2 more day surgery procedures on Friday and Monday next week then she can finally go home. Last weekend I took Mum home to visit my dad. She was so happy. She hasn't been home in nearly 5 weeks.
My dad finally got to meet Molly and he was wrapt. He wouldn't put her down and kept taking her off for walks in the pram. We went and had a picnic in the park. I was meant to go meet my friend afterwards and my dad took off with Molly in the pram when I was trying to leave. It was funny to watch.
Molly is heading off to have her first lot of immunisations tomorrow which should be an experience. My mum is coming with us. Molly also has to visit the health nurse tomorrow before her injections. It will be interesting to see how much weight she has put on. I hope I get the nice nurse tomorrow.
Molly is growing like the proverbial weed and is starting to "talk" more making the most cute cooing and gurgling noises. She smiles heaps but it is still hard to get pictures of it. DH still doesn't think they are smiles and is so thick when I tell him that her eyes light up when she smiles, that's how you tell its not gas.
Breastfeeding.... now there is something that I really don't enjoy. I am more than considering stopping it. It is currently making me miserable. You all know our ongoing issues with it. The other week we finally had good attachment but Molly has starting chomping down on my nipples while feeding and they are red, sore and cracked again. She stops sucking and then chomps down hard. It just feels like it is one thing after another with it and I am at the end of my tether over it. I know that you should try and do it as long as you can but 10 weeks is more than I thought I would do and like i said it is totally making me miserable. Any thoughts?
Anyhow I had better go because I have to go pick up my mum from the hospital after her treatment today and I have to get Miss Molly ready.
