Meg- I hope your household feels better soon, You must all feel terrible
Helen - Yay on the babies! It is wonderful that they are both on track. How did your glucose tolerance test go?
Tiana improved - but has now gotten worse. We had uncontrollablem screaming last night and she is really fussy and clingy. Her breath got really, really terrble yesterday to. Mum said it is good as it means her throat is healing. All she is happy doing is laying in bed watching dvd's. So thats what she is doing! Here's hoping she is feeling better on Monday
No wnoder I keep getting sick when J does. he has just been playing with his doodle, and now he has stuck his fingers in my mouth.
ah gota loves boy dont ya bbe. Hope you get better soon.
Helen good on you for getting out babe. I can understand why you are keeping the name for yourself. ive told jed IF we ever (which is a big NO) have another baby...it would be called houdieni (sp???) casue it would defently be a miracle baby.
Marni - ah you poor buggers! that is jsut shiat!
I came on here with news...ah yes...my BIL and his wife have jsut announced their pg....big shock for them but a happy one I hope.. They live in a display type house so it will be nice for them to have kids and be a little messy IFYKWIM
I am so over trying to clean my place atm and have Vy goa nd trash it! Fcurry sake I jsut give up!!!!
And jed totally forgot our anni AGAIN! He didnt even buy me flowers to make up for it and he wonders why I think he doesnt give a shiat! He wouldnt want to forget next year cause its the big 10 one! I'll friggen kill him!
Ahhh boys Maz! They don't get it sometimes. Perhaps a month before next time tell Jed 'well, you'd better start organising our anniversary, you've got a few years to catch up on.' :P
Meg, you guys sounds so sick. I hope tomorrow is a better day.
Emilia's a beautiful name. And WATCH OUT about naming kids with the same letter, I mix up Rans and Riv a lot when I'm telling one of them off. :P It's a PAIN.
Hope Tiana gets better soon too Marni.
Helen, I love the idea of keeping the babies' names a secret!! Can't wait to find out what they are!!
I have a bag of choc chips next to me, and I'm trying to have the discipline to get off my butt and make cookies with them...I'll regret it a bit if I just scoff the chocolate on its own...
Meg- I hope you are on the mend, not sounding good at all, so much gastro around at moment, we had outbreak at work few weeks ago and had to shut the ward to new patients. Are you managing to keep things down? Maybe try some of that gastrolite stuff to get all your electrolytes back in. I did have a big laugh at J touching himself and putting his fingers in your mouth.
Maz- Df is hopeless at remembering dates, I just tell him in advance when something is and what I expect for it otherwise I'd end up with nothing also. Thing that makes me laugh is Df can tell you anything bout the Bombers like who played what number for what years etc but can't remember birthdates or anything like that!
Marni- Poor Tiana and you! Can you give her much for pain relief? Has she settled for the night?
helen- Yeah keep names to yourself cause I'm already having the prob when we throw names around of everyones opinion how they don't like that name etc etc. I think waiting til bubs born to announce it means no one can comment!
Well we had Ash's birthday BBQ today and I am exhausted! Cake got a bit burnt but icing turned out ok. In the end I just used green icing to draw a number 2 on the cake and then the choc icing for around rest of it. Ash had great day, pretty much ate crap all day so healthy stuff for her from now on! Got good presents. Tidying up afterwards was pain in ass but all done.
awww Meg - you poor darling really hope you & your household feel better quick - gastro seems like 10 times worse when you are pg - all you can do is try to keep your fluids up...often easier said than done.
Marni - poor Tiana - hope her recovery is quick.
Maz - sorry to hear about Jed missing your anniversary - he has got alot to make up for next year. Congrats to your BIL.
Shell - great that Ash's bbq went well, hope you get an early night tonight.
Okay, hi to everyone else, I am just really tired these days and trying to mentally prepare myself for a newborn and toddler....
Laurin - You will be fine with the two of them. Just remember as long as they are both fed and cuddled and clean(ish) nothing else matters!
Meg - I hope that you guys begin to feel better today.
Shell - Well done on the bbq. I am only doing a mothers group party for tiana on Tue. I hope she is better!
Maz- Men have no idea, John didnt bother about Mothers day this year so i know how you feel.
Nelle - did you make the cookies?
Well another crappy night here. She finally went to sleep on me at about midnight after much screaming and kicking and crying for about 3 hours. She slept until 7.30m this morning and woke cranky. I am going to the chemist today to see if they can give me something to knock her out tonight. I cant keep going like this and panadol isnt doing it for her. Sorry to whinge, I feel a bit better when it is all out though.
Marni - Pain stop is fantastic babe, especially when kids are in so much pain. I was up with Vy until 2am this morning...her woo hoo is red raw...friggen teeth!!!
Laurin - you'll be surprised how quickly you get use to having 2..but in the mean time big hugs babe
Shell - sounds like Ash's birthday was good..glad to hear im not the only one who burns cakes lol
Hello everyone...have tog et 2 boys ready to go to the movies with their dad to watch Wall E....I need some peace
Marni- phernergen can be used... i was told to use it by my dr when annika was having night terrors to help her get out of the habit and it worked.
its avaliable at the chemist, dont need a script.
Well we are dummy free, didnt have a problem going to sleep without it...
Marni.. oh the poor pet. I hope she starts to pick up soon. My parents went through the same with my sister when she was a baby.. having the tonsils out etc. Once the pain went, she picked up a whole lot.
Marni- Hopefully it will all settle soon, maybe too try giving her cold foods to help numb her throat? Can you give her much else with the kidney prob?
Laurin- I'm already getting worried bout having toddler and newborn, especially as recently Ash has become more clingy and loves the word 'no'. Scary thought isn't it!
Caddie- You must be very happy today after footy last night! I can't believe Saints lost by so much. I cried when they carried Harvey off the field. I do hope Hawks win next week tho cause all the Geelong supporters around Melb seem so ****y and sure that it will be funny if they lose!
So can't be bothered working today, weather is too nice! I hate working weekends but good money.
I was thinkming of you last night Shell. I thought you would be pretty annoyed about the result.
I have used Phenergan a few times with J. They really put you over the ringer if you go in to buy it though. She will improve Marni, just need to give it a few more days. Easier said than done I know, especially if you are all sleep deprived.
yay on the dummy situation Annika.
Feeling a bit better, J has done a solid "nappy" for the first time since Tuesday. So that is a good sign.
