Rach.. Ohhh im so sorrrrrry!!!!! Der! Too much sugar for me tonight. I know Jack Robert is your lil guy, no idea why i wrote Jett.. mustve just been the J's and that theyre both so cute! so sorry though! Oh how bad is that. Oh how cute is JACK in those photos!! Oh i love the number 2 photo, how adorable. Oh im so dumb.. sowwee

Shell.. yeh hes been going for a few weeks. Had a few different versions.. injections, radiation, tablets etc.. the worst lot was the week before Jesse's Naming Day, yet the silly man ran around like a mad thing cooking! He does try not to show that its effecting him but you can just tell, he looks so warn out. He's starting to lose weight too and hair is starting to thin. Was told he'll lose his hair and then it will grow back curly and a different colour from the chemo.. which will be kinda strange as its white and straight atm. Hope the chemo is shrinking your FIL's. From what DH said i dont think mine has much chance of shrinking it, it seems to have taken over both his lungs. Oh no for AF!!

Hey.. does anyone know where i would be able to get a Sesame Street or Baby Elmo cot quilt? Im going to have a look at Target on monday but was looking through a few people's websites and came across Mel1977's of her Angel son and they had the one i would love to get for Jesse for Nicholas, but i dont want to ask where they found it as i think its too personal. Anyone have any ideas?

Can you google the blanket Kell? Or maybe make one?

Shell! AF back for you?? That's so wierd, since you breastfeed a lot don't you. Glad you had a good time in Sydney! It's good you've got somewhere to stay whenever you decide to go! (hey, have you broken your drought yet?)

I ask that because I (oh yeah TMI) found a fair bit of whacko egg whitey CM today, I usually have none, I assume it's the breastfeeding that usually makes me quite dry, so I wonder if I'm ovulating? We just had dinner at my parents and then Rans dropped me home and has gone to the movies with some mates, but I might pounce on him when he gets home.
I was playing with Riv this afternoon and said to Rans - I could go another of these. It'll happen when it happens though. I'm in no hurry.

Annie, mum and dad do the fish thing, but more because they love fish! We had some bbq'd in foil with lemon and soy sauce and garlic and other things...was soooo good.

Thanks for that rock cake recipe Anna! Doesn't look too hard, might give it a shot!

Kellxx - From what I can make out from the photo, it looks like the blue is airbrushed on... you can either use an airbrush to do this, or Wilton make a colour-in-a-can stuff that'll do the same job (just not as many colour choices). Thanks for the well wishes for Tuesday for Xander.

Shell - Oh no at getting AF back. Guess it had to return eventually :-(

Nelle - I have been getting the weird egg white CM thing for a couple of months now. It's almost like I have a cycle every month , but without the period bit.

Rach - With toys that contain celophane, wash them in cold water and it wont (or shouldn't) shrink. Quite a few of Xanders' store bought toys have celophane in them and I've not had a prob unless I washed them accidently in warm/hot water.

Belle - I loved that piccy of Julia that you sent me on my phone... am out of credit, so couldn't reply!

We had an awesome day with Xander today... pretty much stayed home all day (just went for a walk in the arvo) and played with him the whole time. Xander has just been in the most fantastic mood all day because of the extra attention. Zilcho got done around the house, but it was worth it! He's now totally zonked out, fingers crossed it stays that way.

Anna I love your ticker pic - Xander's such a spunk! That's interesting about the CM, I might make a note of when I get it and see if there's a pattern...

did you go for a walk in you pyjama's anna???? (anna told me she was spending ALL day in her pj's today!) just a quick one as we just got home from my dad's and it's nearly 11pm. just waiting for ains to settle herself back to sleep then it's bedtime for me too. i lost a hubcap off the car today, and a very nice man told me so at the lights so i knew where i'd lost. i rang my little bro as he would be driving on that road (main road) and i had to get the grizzling girl home. anyway, no luck with little bro, but then he came back after he'd left the dinner, he'd found it on the way home!!! just had to share this little woo hoo!

enjoy the rest of your easter girls... will get that recipe to you nelle. it's so easy and so super yummo!

Anna**.. oh that sounds like a good thing (the Wilton in a can stuff). Oh sounds like you had a great day with Xander! He must love all that attention!

Well i need a coffee.. feel extra tired this morning for some reason..

I would love to take a pic of Jetts toothies BUT I have to get him to sit still long enough which is impossible now he is crawling! I will try though, you can see them when he laughs lol

The climbing has gotten worse. Ry bathed him last night and Jett stood up on his own holding the side of the bath Then he let go and was only holding on with one hand and almost upright. I am so not ready for pulling up, cruising or walking.

Well Im going to Sydney on Tuesday and will be back Friday so if I disappear you know where I am

Kell- I class easter tomor but I guess the whole weekend is easter. As for your fil, he sounds so sweet doing all that and trying to not let everyone see how affected he is, I hope the chemo slows down his growth and he gets some quality of life in there.

rikki- Woohoo! Yay on getting it back.

Nelle- Yeah I'm still BFing 7-8 times day so I was pretty ****ed when it returned. We still haven't DTD, haven't even attempted again, I tell you we are like an old married couple! As for CM I haven't noticed any but I'm sure bout 2 weeks ago I had like O'ing type pain cause I remember joking to Df lets make the next one.

Anna**- Stuff the housework a happy baby is much better! I love when we have those great days when bubs is happy.

We went to bil and sil for dinner last night, had the yummiest fish. But I have found since fil got his cancer diagnosis he has become more outspoken. Poor Ashleigh has had a big week so last night she was getting upset the bottom lip was out and fil was holding her at the time. I said I think she's hungry (only cause it'd been just over 2 hours since her last booby) and he says to me with tone "everytime shes upset you reakon she's hungry, shes not hungry shes just bored". So he then tries to play with her and obviously shes getting more upset tired as well. So I finally got her and she had a big feed and fell asleep. The whole time I was feeding all he kept saying was how do you know shes hungry how do you know its not this or that. (Saying this with tone too) At least Df spoke up and said we are her parents we most of the time know what shes upset about.
I feel bad *****ing bout him when hes unwell but it really did bug me. Its not the first time, him and mil always think Ash is bored when shes tired or something so then of course try to stimulate her and then she can't get to sleep!

    Hi ladies, I am back!.

Leith went back to work today, so hopefully I will be able to catch up on a few things.

Belle-I got your mms, Julia is looking just soooo gorgeous(takes after her mummy). Hope you are having a good easter.

Shell-I am sorry that you are having issues with your FIL. The cancer does make it harder for you to stand up to him and I know that you feel bad, sorry if this sounds harsh but he is probably more outspoken because he knows people won't say too much to him about it. Probably also with all of the treatment etc he probably has less patience due to dealing with it all, and therefore is a little more grumpy. It's hard though and I hope that visits are more comfortable from now on.

Ok now what have been major items lately.

AF-no AF here either. Had some CM a month or so ago, but no sign of AF at all yet.

2nd Baby-I felt exactly the same. The day I went in to have Eithan I actually cried from guilt and worry. I was so scared that I was going to die that I felt really guilty for having wanted another baby and that resulting from this selfishness I would die and Bella wouldnt have me around. Silly I know, but pregnancy hormones. Just dont worry about it ladies, I know how you feel and trust me you will have more than enough love for your children.

Teething-Still no teeth here, but he is soo cranky all of the time. We have to bonjella him before 50% of his solid feeds otherwise he crys the whole time, because he is so hungry, yet it hurts so much.

TTC-Leith has decided he doesnt want anymore kids, so I am still coming to terms with that. He has said that if we were to ever have an accident he would be really happy and fine with it, but that he doesnt want to actively try for a baby or be lax about it either, so no OTL here. It would be pretty hard to have an accident. I took 25mths to fall preg with Eithan, but luckily on the 3rd cycle of Clomid. Plus no Af here. So if it were to happen, it would definantly be meant to be.

Easter and Fish-I am not religous at all. I have spirtual beliefs, but dont conform to any type of religion. However I am christened and have been brought up to eat fish on good friday. That said, we went fishing yesterday and caught NOTHING. We tried 3 Spots!!. I BF Eithan on the jetty, he was all rugged up in his woolen beanie and blanket and he kept me kinda warm, but my was the rest of my boob cold. I was disreet, but that tassie weather still found its way in.LOL. So we went back to mum and dad's and had scones and jam and hot cross buns for tea. My oh my, my hips will notice this easter.

Ok, we went on a few picnics and drives etc on Leith's holidays, so we had a nice relaxing time. We did NO reno's.

Eithan on backwards crawling. He's not, he moves himself backwards by pushing his arms and sliding. But he really doesnt go far at all, maybe just 50cm. So he is not a big mover at the moment. I am not sure about his growth stats at this stage, but want to take him to the mchn when he is 8mths old. I am just about to change his ticker photo, with a pic of him at the beach.

I have heaps more to say, but as it is this has taken me an hr.

Hope you all have a great easter.

Haha fat chance, Rans rolled over to me last night, romantic candle burning and - WAAAAAHHHHH!
I finally climbled back into bed at 3:30, with Rans fast asleep. Ah well.

I'm glad you had a good holidays Helen! If you find it hard to come to terms with stopping at 2 or start itching for another one down the track, you could always have a re-chat to Leith.

Ohhh yeah, I think my hips will balance themselves out, since I'm no longer that into chocolate, but I LOVE hot cross buns...mmm with butter in the microwave...

    Yay about the hubcap Rikki!

Shell, I am setting you a dtd deadline of a year. So you still have 6 months

My little man is inching himself towards his rocker, it's so funny to watch him move. He dragged himself over to my All Stars before and was chewing on the laces, little silly! He looks like a little inchworm, or like he's doing the butterfly swimming stroke on the carpet! Ah he's there now! The little inches are becoming lunges...I might have a commando crawler on my hands!!

Shell.. hun, out of anyone in this world, YOU know what Ashleigh needs and wants more than anyone! It is unfortunate that it is your FIL saying these things as i guess you just have to bite your tongue, but just always remember, you know best ok. I hate it when people try and tell me what to do with Jesse or that he wants something else, how would they know. My mum once said, when Jesse was playing up and i went to give him his dummy (as i know when he gets grizzley thats what he wants from experience) and she said he's fine he doesnt want his dummy.. i said yeh but thats the sounds he makes when he wants it, she said you dont need to give him his dummy everytime he makes that sound.. i threw it down and walked out of the room at the time, but like i dont need someone telling me, whoever they are, what MY baby wants or needs.. i know what his different sounds are.. as you do with Ash. Try not to let it get to you, you just have to take it with a grain of salt, and like i said, at the end of the day, you know whats best for Ash. Glad you had some yummo fish though!! Thanks mate. Yeh he is a gem like that.. all he ever wants to do is make people happy.. i wish MIL would appreciate what shes got before its too late.. she really takes advantage of it way too much.

AnnaT.. oh my! That would be a scarey sight him standing in the bath!! He's gonna be walking before you know it! Does he sit up in the bath now?

Helen.. oh what a stud muffin you have there on your ticker!! Glad youre doing well and had a good holiday.

Nelle.. ive found with the chocolate hot cross buns you have to get good ones. We found the best ones are from Coles.. bakers delight ones are yuck.

Well, i was just tickling Jesse and he pucked all over both of us! Luckily it didnt hit my face otherwise id be feeling quite ill right now.. Grahame just laughed.

Awwww Annie I hope that Olivia stays better. What a tough night you must've had.

Nelle-mmmm I think that is why it is hard to deal with, because in the back of my mind I am pretty sure I can get him to change his mind. When we first got together it was going to be 7 kids, then 5 and then after Bella no more, we had huge things with falling preg with Eithan. The stress really seemed to get to him as each month it hurt him to see me upset and also him as he wanted a baby too. While preg with Eithan we even planned when we were going to ttc no. 3 (this nov), but now nothing, so who knows.

Kell-Thanks mate, your little man is a big spunk too. LOL about the vomit, poor you though, I hope it was just milk and not food aswell.

Nelle-River sounds so cute with the moving around.

Better go, beautiful day here in Tassie today, might go and enjoy it while I hang out some washing.

    Love

HelenP- See how things go, maybe down the track Leith will be OTL? I always wanted 3-4 but my df told me only 2 so I've told him we're not having number 2 for a few years yet as I want to enjoy all the time I can with them and make the most of BFing etc.

Nelle- Lol I like that deadline, still gives me plenty of time. River sounds like Ashleigh, she moves about like that and also goes for my runners, seems to love shoelaces.

Kellxx- Its funny isn't it when others seem to think they know better than ourselves about our babies! Ashleigh is becoming like Jesse and much prefering jar food over my home cooking! She seems to eat more and better when its out of the jar.

*Annie*- Poor Olivia, must have been one of those bugs that just get in your system and leave again quickly, I used to get like that once or twice a year as a kid and always seemed to be around the time the weather was changing.

Rach- That would've looked cute him licking his lips, I wish Ash was a little more excited about food and got like that.

AnnaT- Glad you decided to go to Sydney, it'll be good for you to see your brother and your friends, might cheer you up and make you feel better.

We're just having a lazy day here, Ashleigh is in a foul mood cause she's slept for 20mins all up today. She started out sooo happy this morning too but went downhill. She's prolly all unsettled from our holiday, needs to get back into normal pattern.

Yeah he sits himself up but he mostly likes to "swim" (more like drink the water lol) on his stomach.
