AnnaT - Your hospy sounds nice. If you ever move back to Perth and have a bub here, make sure you book in at the family birth centre that I went to as it has everything that you are wishing for in labour!
I would have considered it actually if we were still in Perth this time round. Unfortunately this is the final baby for us so no fulfilled dreams of a water birth or anything like that. Ive been thinking alot about Perth lately, I miss it so much.........way more than I thought I would

Hey just out of interest what are your bubs nap times during the day and for how long - are they down to one nap, rylee had a very quick half hour nap at 11.30 am and now she has fallen asleep having her tea - when she has a late nap she won't go to bed till about 10 pm - I am dreading tonight
Jett usually goes down for a nap at 11:30am and will sleep til 2:30pm. He goes to bed at 8:30pm and sleeps through til 8:30-9:00am.

Yes thats right ladies, sleeping through Must be all the walking he's doing. Its weird to wake up at 8:30am and know he hasnt stirred, I still panic most times and run to check on him.
Hasnt made a lick of difference to MY tiredness though

Just on the boob topic, Im the opposite of you all. I had literally ZERO boobage before I got pregnant, then I got up to a 12B. When I stopped bf at 4wks I thought Id lose it for sure but nope, still a 12B. Now Im probably more a 12C lol Hoepfully I wont lose it after this bub. Ive already made Ry promise to let me have a tummy tuck when we have the money, I care more about a flat tummy than boobs.

Hi guys, soo tired, just a quickie. Hope you are all well.

Laurin-Rylee sounds sooo much like what Bella was like as a baby its not funny. I really feel for you and what you are going through. When I had Bella noone understood what it was like, they just presumed that I spoilt her rotten and let her get her onw way, but seriously she was hard work and any attempt at controlled crying and routine would have her vomitting everywhere she used to get herself so worked up. Bella was the same during the day would always fall asleep, no matter what at about 4-5pm and then wouldnt go to sleep until about 1am after heaps of walking around and rocking. I really commend you for being able to do this most of the time as a single mother plus doing your uni assignments, you msut be sooo exhausted and in need of a break. As for suggestions on how to deal with her. I would try not to stress too much about her bedtime, she is still young and if you can be more relaxed about her being up she may start to relax too. Maybe aim for bedtime at 10pm instead of 7pm and then slowly work you way backwards 5-10mins at a time until you get her to bed at a more desireable time. Also as hard as it is laying on the floor next to her cot and rubbing her back and giving her a bit of a tap to go to sleep. A lot of the time with Bella I could be in there for an hr or more, but eventually she would calm down sooner and sooner, but she would still like to make sure I was there and would cuddle my arm to go to sleep. Look I really dont think that there is anything magic that I can say that would help you out. But please know that I know what you are going through and it is hard work and no amount of things would really help Bella. She went into a big bed earlier and that seemed to help, but take heart she will get better, and you'll look back at this time and wonder how the hell you coped, but you are coping, she is a happy and healthy girl, all that is wrong it is that she doesnt sleep well. Yes it's a hard slog for you but something you will get through. Hope that helps.

    Love

Hello all - got my results, Thyroid seems ok, but I have quite a lot of nodules in my neck, and there is a chance that they could be cancerous. So I have to go and have a radioactive test today. I am actually really upset about it. Not worried about the cancer thing, just more upset because I won't be able to breastfeed for 24 hours, and should only be handling James minimally. Tim is away for work, but is going to come home. So at least he will care for James.

Kell - send your recipe my way. I would love it.

Laurin - James' routine is exactly the same as Jesse's.

AnnaT - Woo Hoo on the sleep through.

Jodi - Hope you are feeling better today.

Anna - THanks for the link.

Gymbaroo this afternoon, then off to the test.......

    hi girls,
thought I would pop in and let you know I am still alive.... and surviving work. Geeeeez it is hard getting organised by yourself in the mornings, but I have been good so far and packed everything the night before. Ainsleigh seems to have a sixth sense about work days, and the night before she has taken to waking thru the night hungry. So far (touch wood) she has managed to remain fairly well even going to daycare (apart from hand, foot and mouth!!) So that's us in a nutshell... can't believe Ainsleigh will be one year old in only a few weeks. Can't believe Xander is one next week!!!!

As for personals, lets see how I go...
Nelle - congrats on the topic we're not discussing! Excellent news
Kell - Well done on the list of what we are all doing... yes, hmmm. We said when Ainsleigh was one, but now maybe start of next year?
Maz - Sorry to hear your scan wasn't the best.... but from memory didn't you have troubles with Vy's scans too (racking my brain here!)
Anna** - we still on for Monday at Galleria?
Caddie - Hope you're enjoying your holiday!
Shell - I hear you on going back to work....
Annie - Good luck with your new job... well done on finding a daycare that you are happy with and has places available
Meg & Shell - Good luck with packing. I've told Sam we are never moving again!
Vix - how's your gorgeous Bailey?
Nessa - Sorry to hear about your fine. Think of how much fun you're going to have with Kell and that will make you happy again.
Laurin - I know how hard it is trying to do everything while hubby works away... then they come back and question the way you do things. All I can say is 'deep breaths'... that seems to work for me.
Chrissy - knew you would have to go back for number seven... you can't help yourself. Good luck with the job interview. My BIL works for centrelink... there seems to be a lot of perks that go with the job.
Annat - I'm sure Jett will love kindy.... and just remember, if he cries, it will only be for a second (just enough to make you feel guilty for leaving). And Ainsleigh always sleeps well on daycare day!
Belle - hello if you're lurking!
Rach - hello too, hope the babysitting job is going well.
Sharleen and Helen - hope you're over all the germies in your houses.

OK, I tried my best. Hope I did not confuse peoples news/questions etc.... and sorry if I missed you out.... HELLO to everyone!

    xx

Rikki- I know its hard to get ready for work, luckily I am doing arvo shifts so I have the morning to organise us both but it seriously takes forever by the time I work out meals for her and meals for myself.

Ness- thanks I got a card too today but I'm not gonna open til Ash's birthday, told her she has to wait! Lol.

Sharleen- Hi, good to hear the BF is going strong, its great to use when they are sick, always settles them.

Meg- Huge Hope all the tests come back clear. It'll be hard for you only being able to handle james minimally and not feed.

Chrissy- Its driving me bonkers too, this is first time I have done it and it hurts my head, I'm struggling with the extreme sites, is there a trick cause all 6 of them I couldn't find the icon and I looked everywhere!

HelenP- Good advice what you said, that way laurin can see there is a light at the end!

Jodi- before boob job i was barely an a cup, after went to c-d BF went to dd but I think they've gone down a bit back to d cause mat bras not as filling. How you feeling? Migraine gone away?

We gonna out to dinner soon at friends place, so yay no cooking, having roast. Better get Ash up, I put her down for late nap seeing as she has been awake since 11:15 this morn, we went and visited Df at work and all the teachers there adored her, she laughed at them all.

Hi everyone. Thanks for your kind words. Had the test done. Now my throat really hurts. Anyway they gave me my results then and there. I have to have a fine needle biopsy now, as I have an enlarged nodule. The average person has a 2% chance of thyroid cancer, and I have a 10% chance. So odds are good! So back to Dr's tomorrow to organise the biopsy.

Meg.. oh hun im so sorry for what you are going through.. i hope its nothing major. Will be thinking of you.
    Here it is:

    Sweet and Sour Chicken Receipe:
    2 tbsp vegetable oil
250g chicken breast cut into bite sized cubes
    75g carrot, cut into matchsticks
50g baby corn, sliced in half lengthways and then across
50g green beans, topped and tailed and cut in half (i just use frozen beans)
    2 spring onions, finely sliced
    salt and pepper

    Batter
    1 egg yolk
    1 1/2 tbsp corn flour
    1 tbsp milk

    Sweet and Sour Sauce
    1 tbsp soy sauce
    2 tbsp tomato sauce
    2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
    2 tbsp caster sugar
    1/2 tsp sesame oil

    1. In a small bowl, beat together the egg yolk, cornflour and milk to make a thin batter. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a wok, dip the chicken into the batther, then fry for 3 to 4 minutes until golden. Remove from the wok and set aside.
    2. Meanwhile, mix together all the ingredients for the sweet and sour sauce. Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in the wok and stir-fry the carrot, baby corn and green beans for 2 minutes. Add the sauce, bring to the boil and cook for 2 minutes.
    3. Remove from the heat, stir in the onions and seasoning. Add the chicken to the vegetables and heat through.

And thats it. I actually got it out of one of my baby magazines! Tis sooo yummy!!!

Meg- I hope the tests come back all clear, as you said the odds are working in your favour. How you going with the whole not being able to BF?

Kell- Yum I'm gonna have to try that out too, I'm always looking for new ways with chicken.

I've had couple drinks tonight at the roast dinner, gone straight to my head but not too bad at moment, i was ready to kick on and party but everyone else left! Gonna have to have big night out in the near future I think now that Ash takes a bottle well.

I hated not Breastfeeding. I sulked on the couch. James didn't mind at all. He happily took the bottle, then went to bed without a peep. I dread to think what my boobies will feel like by the morning.
Mum thinks that I should wean him now. I nearly cry thinking of weaning. Even if I am feeding only twice a day, I love the bonding time that we have. He strokes my cheek, and stares at me with beautiful big blue eyes......

Yeah, ignore your mum on this one Megan! Why does she think you should wean?? Silly lady.

Could you express a bit before you go to bed? That might make things a bit more comfy.
