morning girls I will post this again as we started a new thread and add some more while im here.

I know what you mean Vixstar - I get teary too just looking at Julia remembering her as a baby and I love snuggling with Julia it warms my heart, its a great moment isnt it.

I cant believe a year go today I was admitted to hospital to be induced... two days later Julia was born!!! wow I cant believe it...

Julia says thank you so much to Savanna for her KK presse the postie buzzed us this morning and handed us the package, she is very excited... we have 6 presents and 3 envelopes so far to open.. since only 2 days away we are going to let her open on the morning of her birthday on Sat before I go to my group therapy

Its so hot here today....nice though...

Julia was a good girl last night slept from 7pm to 6.30am... she must have been tired. I went to buy the Pura Kids milk this morning she likes so hopefully she will have some of that milk..otherwise is it ok to mix with some formula??? if you girls could let me know if you have done that? Im thinking she may not like it as she now drinks the formula thats vanilla flavoured and prefers that....

Ohh and the PIZZA was sooooo yummm and I have some for lunch today.

Maz - how you going today? did you celebrate last night after Pizza???

Anna - hows Xander today? is he doing a little better?

Sharls - how you going mate?

Rikki - how are you and Ains? hows she feeling?

BBL girls gotta each some breakie.. bit late

    Hey girls..

Belle - Yeah, Xander is doing a bit better today; have gotten a few smiles out of him so he must be getting better. I think it is about time he was well for a few weeks - he's been sick for a month now! Choosing the paint colours for this house is soooo doing my head in. I wish I wasn't so anal about how light reflects etc etc. Bet Julia can't wait for her birthday party!

Nelle - You open that pressie yet... or you gonna be good and wait?

Maz - a WHOLE pizza? Holy moly woman! All I can think of after hearing that is 'heartburn'. Hope you enjoyed it.

Vix - I think it is perfectly normal to get a little teary on the first birthday, maybe moreso with a first born (Maz? Chrissy? can you answer that?). Watching that grow up is a bit of a double edged sword really - you are so proud to watch them learn, grow and discover their independence and yet yearn for when they were so helpless, tiny and dependant.

Ok... better go back to 'doing my head in' over flippin paint colours. Anyone know of a really nice green with olive undertones that isn't too garish?

Ok. Ive been naughty and went out to lunch with a friend when I should have been resting but Ive been stuck at home all week and it was only lunch, dont dob on me Its wiped me out though, Im knackered so I might go have a snooze after this.

So my OB appointment went ok yesterday. Turns out I dont have a prolapse I have a hymen-something-or-other, which is where whats left of the hymen has gotten swollen and started protruding out of the vaginal entrance. Its not life threatening, wont affect a vaginal birth and is easy peasy to get rid of after Ripley arrives with some local anaesthetic and a snip here and there. So thats good news. Bad news is my OB is extremely worried about my braxton hicks contractions. He has assured me I wont go into labour in the next 4-6wks but he is concerned about having bub early in third trimester, esp because I dont have enough opportunity to rest and not resting makes the contractions worse. Soooooo I have to see him on the 21st (next friday) for a cervix check and then we'll go from there. I discussed the idea of moving to Sydney with him and he said its something worth thinking about but Ry has flat out refused to let me go anywhere because he doesnt want to miss out on Jett. So at this stage its a no go but Im still keeping it in the back of my mind. I just dont know what to do.

Anywho definately time for a nap.

Anna, yes, we just opened it! Was it from you?? Thanks to whoever it was!! Little cargo shorts (well, I say little, they'll be too big for Riv for awhile, but probably good come summer!) and an organic cotton tshirt that says Give Peas a Chance! Awesome, we always need more clothes!

Belle, have you tried watering Julia's milk down? I tried watering Riv's milk down a bit and he likes it now! Haven't tried him on undiluted milk but I don't reckon the switch will be hard.

Annat, that's great it's not prolapse and it's just your hymen. Not fun, but still better than it could be hey. As for early labour, can you get Jett into more daycare days so you can rest more? Maybe you'll just need to be stricter as the pregnancy progresses.

Anna, can you paint olive underneath whatever green you want? Would that work? That might turn out to be pricey though hey.

AnnaT - I have a friend who had the same as you, they ended up stitching her cervix up (god knows how) to stop the baby coming out...she ended up going a week overdue. IM so releaved for you that you dont have a prolapse but owie for bits to be cut of (so does that make you semi circumsied then???) Dont worry about Melbourne...we all understand. Just rest up. Is there a home daycare on the base?
Bel - im sure Julia would want mummy to go to her therapy to get better, even if it was her birthday.
Meg - were is Gisborne? Is it in the north of Vic?
Anna - its worse when you think its your last baby on their first birthday. I remember I bawled my eyes out on WIlhelms first because we werent going to have anymore. Its almost like a part of you is final, gone. I still cried on Vy's, dont worry and i cant bring myself to look at her baby pics either. Are you still having trouble with paint colours??????
Vix - it doesnt help being pg again on your first's birthday. I felt guilty being pg again on Vy's, almost like Im going to be missing out on some aspects of her life by having another baby so soon. Dont worry, we'll share a box of tissues with you
Nelle - we need to see some pics of this gorgie outfit. Ive got the t-shirt that says I recycle my tantrums for Vy and its huge...almost a nighty.
Oh for those of us with girls......are you buying nities for them for summer??? I dont know it I should or just buy some little pj's???? to use to boys.

Ok so what else is going to go wrong in my life.
I just went through the paperwork i took on monday to the RTA to get a replacement licence and they guy hasnt given me back my birth certificate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So i call through and no we dont have it. For crying out loud!!!!!!!!! Whats next?!?!
Least that i can get again but still will cost me $38.00 but still.. me losing my wallet has cost me so far $100. Thats 3 boxes of nappies! Soooo pi$$ed off!

Maz.. i dont think it matters really, whatever you prefer. If Jesse was a girl however, id probably still buy him pjs as if he can reach it, he pulls his nappy off. But you have covers hey so im sure that's be fine. Very pretty too.

AnnaT.. hmm i think Ry needs to realise that your health is more important. You can still take videos of Jett and he can visit and vise versa. It wont be forever but i think he needs to start thinking about you more than what he wants. Im glad its not as bad as first thought.

Ok. im off to go bury my head in the sand..
