thanks for responding re nurofen, I dont like to use anything normally but the poor pet was just so damn miserable so unlike him, I decided to go nurofen as it seems to work quicker, but he just had a 2 hr nap, 1/2 hr of it was in my arms as he woke then I changed him and he fell asleep again so I decided to cuddle him
I am so looking forward to his party its just a simple BBQ, but I have little goody bags for the kids
they are getting a funky straw each, a pair of novelty sunglasses, a bottle of bubble, the little one gets a little boat for bath, the older ones get a soft ball about tennis ball size, some lollies for the older kids, I know there was something else I will take pics when I make them up I decided to go brown paper bags for them which i will decorate

Rach.. yeh some people are just against nurophen. Dh didnt really like using it on Jesse, but when he was quite sick the other week i asked the doc and he said yeh its fine as long as they have had something to eat prior. I think thats just the main thing as it can supposibly be bad for their tummies if given too much on empty stomachs. I still just use panadol first, if its something really bad and that panadol aint working then ill go nurophen.
Sorry to cut short.. someones whinging so will be back after hes fed and bathed..
Yes thats right kell. Dont give nurophen on empty tummies.I use it and its fine on ruby.
We had playgroup today and then i had to take a dress back to target and have the security tag removed. It so annoyed me and i have had it done to me once before. So drag to kids up a major shopping centre just for that.
We then went to the park but had to come home because the park doesnt have toilets and its a bit hard to teach a toddler bout potty if there aint there.
Anna hoping you will get a bfp. Fingers crossed.
I was bit funny bout nurofen at the beginning but i think well they wouldn't have made it for kids if it was that bad and others have said sometimes its all that works. I know with teething panadol does nothing.
Caddie- That annoys me when it happens, i always check now, I hate having to go out of my way for things like that.
Belle- that sounds fantastic being right next to the beach, whats the weather been like? Nice enuff to walk round there?
Rach- Enjoy your time away and I hope you come back with big news for us!
Maz- have I missed something? I thought you were having a boy but you were referring to "she" so now I'm confuzzled.
Jodi- Hope the m/s settles. How many weeks along are you? The move went well, we still have some stuff to sort out but pretty much settled in.
Meg- I love watching house tiny tearaways too but I always seem to forget its on! I love all those shows on MTV and VH1 too.
Grand final day tomor, i think all of Victoria are backing and pinning all their hopes on Geelong winning, be an exciting game I think.
I've never given River Panadol or Neurophen...stinking hippy over here, I am! All he's had is Bonjela really...
Shell, Maz had another scan not long after, the first sonographer was just guessing really, as they said, but the next worked really hard to find out for Maz and said it looked like a girl.
I couldn't care less about the footy tomorrow...
Kell - I use Nurophen with James. I too do the Panadol first, but if it doesn't work, then I go for the Nurophen. It definitely works to reduce fevers. I don't just give it out willy nilly, but especially when he had Roseola it was a Godsend. I think we would have ended up in casualty if I couldn't get his temp down.
Shell - It is great to have you back on line properly.
Ness - wishing you a great day tomorrow.
Belle - You sound nice and relaxed.
NElle _ I too don't really follow footy, but there is something fn about Grand Final day. I think it is getting together with friends and having a good day. I am going to a BBQ at Mum's.
Ohh James has started up being a cranky pants. He won't go down tonight. Prolly that 3 hrs sleep this arvo!

Awww Rach that pic you have on your chart page is just gorgeous.
I looked at the overlay of your charts and they do look quite similar. Here's hoping this is the month for you.
Quick question about those who have taken/taking clomid. I took it days 5-9 to get preg with Eithan but that was when I had long cycles. Now my cycles seem to have gone to 22 days. What days do you think I would have to take it on with this short a cycle. I have one month of clomid left over and if I dont fall preg by mid next yr I am thinking of taking it before I go back to the dr for more. I am a bit ahead of myself as we wont be ttc just yet, just wondering your thoughts.
Caddie-Toilet training is so difficult. I used to put a soft kiddie seat for the toliet in my nappy bag for when out and had a spare potty for the boot of my car. But going to a park with no toilets, sorry no solution to that problem, that sucks.
Shell-Is Ash trying to eat the camera, how cute.
Ok I have forgotten most things I was going to say. Hope you are all well.
Love
Helen - With the clomid, as far as I am aware, the later you take it, the later you *should* ovulate... I think you usually O 5-9 days after the last clomid tablet. I always O on day 9 after the last tablet. IMO I'd take it on days 5-9 again, but it might lengthen your cycle a bit (which could be a good thing)
As for Panadol/Nurafen thing... unfortunately we've used far too much of both of these products due to X's ear infections. I don't like using the stuff, but there isn't much else to offer him when he is screaming in pain. For teething I just use SM33 unless it's bad and then a half dose of panadol. Nurafen seems to work better and for longer than the panadol. I've got no dramas using Nurafen, but I know a lot do.
Nelle - I too couldn't give a monkeys' bum about the footy tomorrow. At least the shops will be nice and quiet.
Shell - Great to see you back. Love the new ticker.
Thanks Anna, I dont think I will mind having a little bit of a longer cycle. I have gone from one extreme to the other since starting on Metformin.
Panadol/Nurofen-We have both in our house as they work in different ways. When Eithan was really unwell he had both at the same time. I was very worried about his, but the dr assured me it was ok. This dr felt the same about nurofen as most people, that it is not that good due to stomachs but it is reccomended at times as it does have its place as panadol does not always work.
Anyways I really must get myself off to bed.
Jodi and Maz I hope that you are feeling better.

hi lovely ladies!
ok, so on monday i am going to ask my manager about job-share.. i have found a lady to job share with just need the managers tick! However if she says no.. ill be resigning .. i miss my babies too much.. just too hard.. i feel so guilty leaving them ..i know it wont harm them in any way, but you know.. hmm.. ok im rambling.. anyway.. will hopefully be back to my usual self by the end of October! i hope so..
ok, hope that you are all well
xoxo anna
Annie, I'm kind of glad to hear that. Not because I approve/disapprove in any way, but because you never really seemed too happy about working full time. My mum was a stay at home mum, and we loved it as kids, really enjoyed having her around. Lol, we begged to stay at after school care one time as a treat, and I wasn't that impressed at all! Though I'm not sure I'll stay home as long as her, I'll probably start thinking about working when the youngest hits primary school - hopefully ages away for me!
Anyway, hope it all goes well on Monday.
Yeah Helen, I thought you couldn't use Panadol & Nurofen together, but I suppose a dr would know!
It's so rude of Rans to go away for a night, I find it really hard to get to sleep without him! My plan is to hang out on the laptop til my eyes get too tired to stay open (so I'm not wearing my glasses, which I found by the way - Yay! It's amazing what you find when you actually look). I reckon I'm not toooo far off sleep, thankfully!
HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY ANNIKA
