Anna all I can say is OMG OMG OMG GO YOU GOOD THING That is so a line, exactly like the one I got at 9dpo.

I dont watch NRL anymore as Ry is an AFL man all the way but I really hope Storm wins.

Jetts party went great and the weather held out (although a bit chilly) thankgod! He got spoilt rotten with pressies.

Ive put pics of his party and his new big boy room on his webpage (link in my profile).

Jodi - yeah he has a bedrail on the bed, I got it from KMart 2 days ago for $35 down from $50 as theyre having a sale on those kinds of kid things. The bed is just an ensemble/mattress my Nanna gave us, he'll get a brand new wooden bunk bed set when we move to Sydney next year. He sleeps with a quilt and pillow too which surprises me.

Better go organise dinner. Post better tomorrow when I have energy and time! Big kisses to all!

Belle.. i remember what it was like around the beaches when i use to live there when manly were in the grand final 10 years ago. It was great! Very proud! Theres actually quite a few flags around the Windsor area too! As Des Hasler said.. Manly are a team you either love or love the team against them, and thats fine.. doesnt bother me either way, i still love my team whether they win or lose.

Shell.. i know what you mean, theres nearly more here UTD than not! Go you good things! Rach your next honey!

Yep Anna I can see a line and just to make sure that I was seeing it, I got Leith to look, and he could see it in exactly the same place that I could. Sending sticky vibes your way.

Rach-I hope things are going well for you too.

Looks like a line to me too!!

All us non UTD girls will start feeling left out soon!!!!

AnnaT - I checked out the big boy bed. He looks so tiny!!

I am a little pi$$ed off at the moment. A friend of mine was talking with me about what I would name a second child. I said that we would go with William or Emily/Amelia. She turned to me and said - Oh don't you think that those names are a bit common? Every second child has those names. WTF??!! I actually like *common* names. I am not into unusual names, but I don't go around telling her that her kids names are too unusual. She has a boy called Finn, and a daughter Alinta. I actually like both those names, but they are just not for me.

Lol Caddie bout Rikki, Sam coming home's been bad news for us! Where are you matey?

Anna, I so hope it's a line for you!

Never mind Meg, those are lovely names, and your friend should be grateful - if it weren't for 'common' names, there wouldn't be any unusual ones!

Wow Annat, a big boy bed, that's great. I might wait til Riv can walk.

I'm stuffed, got up early for church then had Riv's bbq - only got home bout an hour ago. ZZZzzzzz......

Meg.. hun you can name your kids tom, d*ck and harry if you want to. Its your choice what you call your baby.. pehh people like that are crap! I dont like people who are rude to others on the decision and choices they make iykwim. I think they should keep their opinons to themselves.

ETA.. AnnaT .. just looked at Jett's big boy bed! oh wow what a big boy!

Manly are getting flogged lmao.. ahh well, least the made the grand final

    hi girls,
just been laying a bit low, had a lot going on in my life and needed some time to sort things out. I guess I am just a private person, so when things happen I tend to retreat. Does not mean I don't think of you guys, just need to work on things by myself. thanks caddie for asking after me... did the royal show make you think of me we're going on Thursday, Sam gets home on Tuesday and we have my stepson coming up to stay for a few days.

Happy birthday to all those that I missed when I was away.... and huge congrats to chrissy, jodi and anyone else who announced pregnancies while I was MIA....and I think a huge congrats to anna** could be in order soon is looking good.

What's happening in our life... Ains is finally going to see the respiratory specialist next week, then off to the ENT in November (that was the earliest we could get in and I booked a month ago). These appts finally came about after spending more time at PMH (childrens hospy) but at least things are happening. I just want to know we are doing the best we can for our princess. Ains has not been sleeping, a combination of molars and asthma I think... makes it hard when I have to get up and hit the road for work on sometimes only 3 - 4 hours sleep. anyway, enough whinging.

Hope you are all well, and thanks for thinking of us.

    Kara and Ains xxx

Aww Kara, sound tough honey, whinge all you like - I'm so glad you can see a specialist though! Hopefully your little lady will be better sooner than you can imagine!

It's hard to type 'a's at the moment, my little finger that types a's is asleep!

I forgot to tell you that River choked again today, he just doesn't chew! And it's so scary. He gets to the last bit, when he can't hold it between his fingers anymore, so just shoves it all in his mouth. Happened right after church, he was on mum's knee and she'd given him a bikki and she was like 'um, Nelle!!' and River was bright red, looking panicked with tears streaming down his face. So I tipped him and did the special choking hit thing, then sat him up and put my finger in his mouth to get the bikki, but accidentally pushed it back down, so tipped him and hit again and he spewed it over my leg! Phewf! Tell you what girls, this is one mum who will be so glad when her boy gets molars!!
