Shell - Not that DH goes out all the time, but it seems like he never has to plan a night out in advance, but I always do. It seems like it is expected that I will be at home always, and if I want to go out, I almost feel like I have to ask.

Hehe, tells you how much of a hopeless addict I am:
dh: Can I go to xyz for a band rehearsal tonight?
    me: oh man, ummm...
dh: I'll bring home a slurpee!
    me: okay.

Props to Rans though, he does a million things that drive me round the bend, but he's pretty thoughtful in the 'going out' regard, will offer to call his parents or mine to babysit so we both can have time off, or offer equal time off for me on a different day. Obviously that part of the husband training is on track! And the part where he puts dirty clothes in the basket needs some more work...

I'm starting to get a bit excited at our thread count! #92, honestly, it's so great we've managed to stick together and support each other all this time!

How is work going, workers? How's your jobshare working out Annie?

Feeling a bit woozy since I got up, might have to make sure I'm drinking enough. Mum's offered to take Riv overnight tonight, so Rans and I can get some rest, and I'm thinking it's not a bad idea anyway for him to have a few sleepovers - mum's taking Riv when I go into labour, so perhaps it'll be good for it not to be such an unusual thing, especially if he picks up that 'something' is going on. Then again, give him enough toys and mum and dad's little Jack Russell, and I doubt he'll have a care in the world.

Have I talked about me long enough? Yeah probably. Annat, how's the feeding and general newborn stuff going?

You still around Ambz? Hope you're getting a chance to relax! (or better still, holding a newie!)

Man, there are so many of us, and so many lurkers, I can't personal to you all...but please, drop in and let us know what's happening in all our various corners of the country!

    Im lurking Nelle

Im good, the boys are good (but have their bad moments, esp Ripley) and Ry is still alive but just barely The feeding is going great! Rips is a complete guts and Ive now mastered feeding laying in bed AND walking around. Ry has encouraged me to breastfeed Rips til its time to give him cows milk (12mths) which is great because before he was grossed out at the idea of feeding a baby over 3mths old Im thinking Im going to give it my best shot but not be disappointed if I stop before then as Ive already gone past what I did with Jett. Umm what else, nothing much happening just veging at home. Had a Jett free day yesterday and I just stayed at home and cleaned/chilled out. Was nice.

Rips is calling for booby, will update better later I promise.

    Hope your all doing well!!

    (Any news on Maz?)

AnnaT- Great to hear everything is going so well. Just go with the BFing til you r Rips is ready to give it up, you never know could be longer than 12 months! I always said I was only gonna feed Ash for 6 months and ended up 15 when she decided she had enough.

Nelle, yes your Dh does sound great! Lucky you on getting a night off, thats nice of your mum, you should try go see a movie.

Annie- I've been watching your ticker, congrats on the weight lost so far, looks like you are doing well.

Meg- Ikwym, I always feel too like I need to make sure its ok if I can go, men have it so easy!

Ness- thanks, prolly harder for you considering you have more than just one. We need big BB meet-up and we all just leave with minimal notice and all our partners just have to deal.

Maz, I hope you are enjoying your walk today with Mat, I'm sending positive thoughts on good test results.

Not much happening here, having a lazy day.

Hi Rach yay on 2,000. I am struggling with J with food a bit. He used to be an absolute awesome eater, but now he seems less, and a bit more fussy. The only thing he really wants in fresh steamed/boiled vegetables. So that's what I am giving him. I just add some finely chopped meat to it. oh and bread! He LOVES bread. So lots of different sandwiches happening here.

I am still sick (cough, cough) I have flue like symptoms. I dont think it is the flue though, just a bad head cold. (I have never had the flue before.) I have a slight temp, the chills and coughing and sneezing. Betting J will get it next. DH is at work, so the last days I have been struggling on my own. Lucky J has been the model child!

Pretty quiet on the weekends aren't we! Kell, Riv's going great in his room, he settled in there really quickly, and he's not even interested in his old room anymore! Reminds me of a bible verse - where your treasure is, your heart will be also - Riv's treasures are definitely in his new room, so I guess that's why he loves it! All he needs is the fan, his wooden bead toy and his lion and all is well.

Bummer that you're sick Meg, it sucks doesn't it. Hope you get better really soon, try and get some rest!!

Caddie, don't know what we're doing for Valentine's! We'll have to think about that one. Hehe at me being the happiest woman - I'm learning to be happier, that's for sure, learning to bite my tongue and remember when Rans is a pain, that I'm not always a bundle of joy either. In fact, I suspect I have moments where I'm a bundle of major-pain-in-the-ass!

Well, when it rains, it pours hey. Rans has been really sick, and now I've got it, only I was already uncomfy enough being in late pregnancy without the added aches of this cold (and you're right Meg, it seems like the flu with the achey joints, but I don't think it is either). So, mum took Riv, and the poor woman was up with him from about 3am, and you know he's sick because he slept on her without sucking his thumb, that's how tired he was - and then apparently he spewed twice at church, guess too much mucous in his tum, and I reckon his molars are coming through, he's in so much pain and chewing on his hand like crazy! Poor kid. So Rans is out at the chemist getting kids pain relief for him and decongestant for me. And my lungs hurt so bad, so I'm torn between not coughing cos it hurts, and coughing cos I need to get rid of the gunk! Might have a steamy shower when Riv's in bed and see if that helps. So yeah, poor me, is all I have to say. All together now 'awwwwww' for Nelle.

Right, that's enough ramble again. Really hope everyone's had a good weekend. Still hoping the best for you guys Maz.

    Hi everyone,
Sorry to hear about all the sick bubbas. Tiana has been really sick this week to. The doc thought it was tonsillitis but it turns out it was just a virus that mimics it. She was in so much pain though and is only just starting to get better today. She has barely eaten (understandably) and I get excited when her temp goes down to 38.

Never mind - her immune system will be stronger for it.

Take care all and I hope you had a great weekend.

Meg- hope you are feeling better.

Shell- a meet up woudl be good, but i think we are dreaming.

    hi to everyone else

Hmm valentines day here, ITs going to be a meaningful one. A poem or card make by ourselves with meaning behind it. No commercialism for once. (cause we dont really have the $$ too)

well i had a productive day.

did all the hosuework, had to mop the floor by hand though as my mop broke and it really needed doing. Got Annika to have two naps and Teleah to have one. They even went down at the same time for a bit, so i got to watch TV and put my feet up.

And tomorrow is even better, Dh doesnt start work til 1 and then my sis is coming to take the girls to the zoo at 3pm so i have the evening all to myself!!!!!!!

Oh and the nesting is going crazy!!!!

Making myself some pancakes for dinner so im in a pretty good mood, consideribng i though this mornign was goignt o be one of those days after i dropped my breakfast all over the floor

    hi girls,
just thought I'd touch base and let you all know how Ainsleigh and I are doing... back at work now so life is a bit more hectic.

We're going great guns, but Ains is sick again. Spent some time at the hospy this afternoon getting her some steroids for her breathing and some antibiotics for her chest/ears..... ah, got to love the old summer cold. Everything else is going great though. Well done those of you who have moved their little ones in to big beds, I left the side of Ainsleigh's cot one night and lasted five minutes! Lol. I was trying to speak to DH on the phone, and she was wandering out.... did not have time to do the rapid return technique but that sounds like the way to go (thanks for the tip Kell).

Nelle, Belle, Kell, Jodes, Ness... hope you are all feeling well in your pregnancies... does anyone keep in touch with Vixstar? And Ambz... you might have a bubba by now! Geez, did I forget anyone?

Helen, so sorry to hear of your loss. Maybe we will be pg together this year

OK, not much of a base touching, but Ainsleigh has decided that she does not want to go to sleep and has started screaming... better go check on her as she is sick.

    Love Kara and Ains xxx

    Hi all,
Nes I think I might do savory pancakes for dinner tonight, or omlette's. Not sure what yet. Just has to be something easy. Take it easy cleaning the floors. Doesn't your tummy get in the way?

Still not well here. But better than yesterday.

Rikki - Hope Ains is on the mend.

Caddie - Hope you got a better night tonight.

Where is everyone? It is very quiet.

im here...just feeling like s%%t atm, had an arguement with dh yesterday, and we are not speaking, men drive me insane at times. He asked me yesterday could he go to a bike rally this weekend, and i told him, well go, but it sh&&s me that you have the money to do that while i sit at home with no money, and bills constantly coming in that i have to work out when they are gettiing paid, and i get no money for myself..but apparently im just a b**ch, i think if he has the money to do this sort of thing than why not take ME out for lunch or dinner or something, thats not to much to ask is it??

    i forgot

to my hormonal teenage daughter Jessica 15 today
