ah Vicky thats lovely that he did that for you.

Nelly, I hope Jake doesn't get it!! I hope you recover quickly.

    Gigi, thanks mate.

Its hard, sometimes I almost forget abou tit, and then other times I feel totally lost & think OMG my mum has a brain tumour . Today was her second MRI, the first confirmed an acoustic neuroma tumour. The second is to check out its exact location and how operable it is. We are actually hoping for surgery, in a way it would be easier. The other option is chemotherapy to slow or stop the growth. But for the last 4 years or so we have found that she's been having huge issues communicating, and its caused huge grief for my brother & I. I have been feeling that she's not "hearing" me, listening but not absorbing what I'm saying... I have felt misunderstood by her and ignored. Well... this is the reason why. That is exactly what this tumour does. It sits on the ear canal and disrupts hearing as well as cognitive brain function and processing of the information through hearing.... does that make sense? So it actually can explain her erratic behaviour & we would love for it to be so simple as taking it away....

Thats what next week decides, the course of action for her tumour. Scary stuff. DH & I decided to get a loan and have me & the girls go over to be there.

We find out next week about if its operable & when. I'm hoping for April... so life can settle over here first. April would mean DH could come out for a week as well and help with the girls.

taralee, christy's mum is in the US.

christy - lots to get organised, plan and do for you, but i'm glad you'll get to see your mum.

get well soon Nelly and Ann

Keeping a bilby who wanted to be EVERYWHERE but the highchair and the pusher and our laps, was EXHAUSTING. DOn't think we'll be taking her out with us to a restaurant any time soon. We only go for birthdays, , V Day anyways, but it was so exhausting. We were in such a noisy restaurant, but when she let out randowm shrieks, i just wnated to crawl into a hole. I felt exhausted by the time the food arrived. But i did get to dress up, wear V Day lingerie, makeup and my first heels (ok, only an inch, like spanish dancing shoes) for the first time in yonks. We were out for two hours (felt like two days) and then bilby wouldn't stop shrieking with me in the room, so instead of even being in the same room as dh, it had to be , bilby and him in one room, me in another. V day with a 14 month old.

oh and i had a flat white with a shot of baileys in it!!! (not quite the frangelico i requested, dh tries!). was nice to eat thai food again.

i think dh went OT (for him) cos he knows how upset i am about us STILL not being married.

Gigi - yeah i'm sure today was just a dream or more like a nightmare. Maybe when i wake up tomorrow it will all be gone....

What's more i'm just a bit uncertain about having a root canal since we've been TTC since the start of Feb...so i may be preggers...

    Hmmm
