Whew! Wish i could have some of that cool weather WITHOUT RAIN! (don't want to jinx it & be flooded again!). Can't win, It's so hot here today!

Have just finished labelling everything for school tomorrow... YAYAYAYAY!!! The girls are really excited & a teensy bit nervous, They're very outgoing so i think they'll do great making new friends.

    Cute pics Gracie

ETA: I don't like beans because they feel squeaky in my mouth! LOL

Ooooh LP, I can't eat squeaky beans either LOL, they have to be cooked really well. I hope the girls first day at school goes well for them. Soon you will have a housefull of pre-pubescent girls tearing around when they bring all their friends home.

We have a really mild day here today, its lovely.

Noni, I am having the same trouble. I have enough to do 2 days, but if the weather is cooler for longer than that I'm in trouble LOL. I did buy him a bonds trackie today at BigW so I will slowly start getting stuff for them all as it comes in.

Went to griffith today (about 1hr15 away) to pick up the new lights we brought. Such a long drawn out day it was too - I wanted to be home by 2 at the latest but it was just after 3 when I got home.

Gracie, I am off to look at Lewis' pics....

quick question.....i haven't given max any formula since 10pm last night. she's been grizzly but i think it's from wanting attention and not hunger. should i still give her formula or try to stick to b/feeding? had 2 very very heavy huggies nappies this morning and then 2 not full but with content nappies so far today. (sorry if tmi)

Hi Fianne, Why are you giving formula? Sorry i must have missed that... Does Max pull away when she's not hungry yet?

Hm, If she seems content with just the BM i wouldn't give the top up unless she really is still hungry for more after a good feed - I'm not BF'ing but i understand it would be confusing not being able to actually see how much she's getting, Is that your concern?

yes, and because i KNOW that if i give her formula, she'll guzzle down the 100 mls in no time. i feel like i'm depriving her if i don't give her formula but at th esame time i want to build up the supply.

Have you tried expressing so you keep a good supply, or even giving her EBM?...
That way you'll be able to see how much she's having sometimes... You could alternate between booby & bottle of EBM so you can be certain that she's getting enough but have the bond of BF'ing as well.
Sorry i really am not much help!

not getting much when i express so i know that i don't have THAT much. but we got through yesterday with 1 120ml bottle at about 1pm and then another 100ml at 10pm and that was it for that 24 hour period.
so, wondering if i can get away with giving her just breast milk the whole day. just feeling guilty...feel like i'm starving her.
