MD - Go Home! It is sooo good to be back, I have never felt so sure I'd made the right decision as I do now. In the end it wasn't even sad to leave Australia as I was so looking forward to being home.

Renee, glad my little reply helped. I think there is a lot of pressure on new mums to instantly love their babies but for me I needed time to get to know him.

DH had his first day at his new job today. He is staying up there this week while I am at mums waiting for all our stuff to arrive. In a burst of luck he works with a guy whos wife runs the local toy library and organises playgroups etc. The next town over is NZ's main military camp so I am guessing there are a heap of military wives that are SAHM's.
