Hayley: Glad to hear you are feeling better. Yes sleep deprivation does strange things to a person! Ah moving back to QLD, think about it constantly, but I'm not ready yet.
I have a harness for Alex, brought it to use at Sydney airport.
AFM: considering I have been pretty sick the last few days & still feel very nauscious, I think I did pretty well today. Got the boys breaky, went to the pool, (watched third watch) decorated the tree, put washing on after stripping alex's wet bed, hung out washing, mowed a bit, wrapped xmas pres, cooked & ate dinner, checked on matthew as Tracey was worried bout him (he has the tummy bag almost as bad as I had it), & made alex's bed. Now I feel sick :s. wanted to do so much more 2nite.
Hope everyone was a gr8 weekend

Hi girls!!
just popping in to say hi! not much to report here. had a loong night with Leila, but that's about it...
and today we are off to a national park somewhere to go and let the dog run around for a bit...
andie: oh man, i hope that bug doesnt hang around too much longer for you! gastro is the pits.
Cally: i have everything crossed for you that it isnt pox. if it is go and buy bucket loads of calamine and (my personal fav) betadine. i reckon the betadine is the saviour. put some drops on the areas that hurt most and it seems to dry the blisters out faster...oh and pinetarsol for bath...you probably have it already under control, but JIC!
Rainy: vent away! and i agree that it is a good idea to stay away for now. so close to bubs arrival and being xmas and all it's best to be with those we love....
i hope your DH is gonna cope ok. it must be pretty anxious times for him.
anyway, best dash sounds as though DH has managed to wake our very underslept baby...
-
Clare: hope your day turns out okay & Leila has a good nap for you.
Rainy: I agree with Clare
Sun was out this morning then I hung washing out, now its overcast & occasionally rains.
Trying to clean up a bit, but boys are under my feet so it's happening slowly.
bbl .. have some peace .. off to see what i can do .. :)

hey everyone,
got blood results bak n everything is good :) my iron is at 15 this time (it was 6 around this time with ash) so this time it will just be supplements for me and no nasty injections yay!!!
i cant believe my iron is that good and i am sooooo tired! everytime i try to do something i just start getting so overwhelmed with tiredness i need to sit down its sooo frustrating.. dnt remember being like this with ash.. tho this preg is going kinda differently more tiredness and dizziness than anything else oh and its really brought out the emotional cow in me lol way more than when i was preg with asha..
have mountains of housework to do and i promised dp id make a good effort because he cleaned the bathroom this morning and now hes gone out to a soccer match, his friend is shouting him coz its his birthday tmw.. all ive done is ashas room which was really bad because her change table drawer broke so there was crap everywhere but the main thing dp cares about is the loungeroom which is also quite a big job but im just sooooo tired!!!
anyway ladies i spose i should stop talkin about it and go do it ahhh hope to come back on later for some personals.. hope everyone is well :)
-
Hi Noni. Glad to hear your iron levels are better this time around. Hope they keep up. Also hope you managed to make a dent in the lounge room.
I've managed to get some rearranged done & my room looks a bit cleaner now. Then played with Play Doh & Alex. Then I managed to get some mowning done, till Alex came inside.
off again ...
-
MM, that sounds like a terrible situation with your Bil. Just so much seems wrong! Making her ask if she can drive the car etc, he sounds really controlling. And making the bub stay in bed by himself for 4 hours when he is probably awake for a lot of the time, well that is just plain mean. There is a really fine line between leaving him in the cot with his dad sleeping with earplugs and just leaving him at home alone. Have these people not heard of daycare???? They sound entirely queer. I bet you everything I have that they will stop comparing him with Maddie when you have a happy well adjusted girl and they have an attention seeking repressed hell-raiser. Hope you are feeling better now you are at home. I think everyone has moments when it all seems too much and you just want the tanty/crying to stop so you can get some sleep. I am ashamed to admit that I have yelled at W to shut up (including the F word ). You would have to be near a saint to have never been at the end of your tether.
Cally, glad the biting has subsided a bit
Noni, I think boy for you this time
Rainy, vent away. There should be a specific vent forum for IL troubles, bet it would be really popular lol
We are flying down south tomorrow for a couple of weeks so I probably won't be on much if at all. So to everyone I wish a very happy and fun Xmas and a safe and happy New Year.
-
Safe travelling Arte!
No sign of the pox here, I think it was just one of those things (or maybe her teeth). We went and picked berries today, DD found a blueberry bush and was quite content to just sit and eat! We got 1.5 kgs of blueberries, so I've frozen them in batches and she can have blueberries for ages (they are a fave - after watermelon)
Rainy - feel free to vent. Glad you had a good meet up with MD, aren't her girls adorable!
Noni - yay for your iron levels!! Now just remember to take your supplements this time!
MM - how was the party?
Well busy day for us tomorrow. We're heading off at 8:30 on Tuesday so tomorrow have to do housecleaning, lawnmowing, packing and a few more Chrissy pressy wraps. And a quick trip into town to get stuff for the inlaws that are coming around for a bbq tomorrow night. Fingers crossed I also get an appt at the chiropractors, have had a shocking headache the last few days, although the panadeine forte has just started to kick in.
-
Cally - Thank goodness, surely if it was the pox they would have shown up by now? If it is going to show up hopefully it will wait till chrissy is over! Hope you can get a doc appt, a headache over chrissy is the last thing you want.
Arte - Daycare, haha, they would not even think twice about putting their son in daycare. Fair enough everyone has their reasons, but I did not appreciate their little comments about us putting M in daycare. I just ignored them as I know how much M loves daycare and I know that she is getting so much out of it. Yes you are right he would be much better of having a day or two in care rather than stuck alone, & bored in his cot. They put their son in a daycare center at a ski lodge for one day when they went skiing and he got a cold (mind you its the one and only time he has been sick!), surprise suprise, so now they wont venture near it again. Ah well what can you do!? Thank god, thanks for saying what you said about getting at the end of my tether with M. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who has blown my top. I always feel terribly guilty afterwards. Have a lovely time down south!!
Noni - Thats good about your iron. Did you manage to get the lounge room clean?
Clare - Hope you had a nice day out, & that L wasnt grumpy after her eventful night lol.
Andie - Its hard being a mum when you are sick because you just have to try and ignore it and get on with it!! You did well today. Hope it goes away quickly.
Rainy - Vent away, I love MIL gossip. Yours sounds worse than mine by far lol. I know what you mean about wanting to talk to your DH about your MIL, but having to remember that she is still his mum & too much trashy talk about her is going to get him down. I've learnt that lesson, so now I try to vent alot about it to my sisters, because you just have to get it out!! Wow you will miss your DH while he is gone, but at least you have him for chrissy day. VERY good idea to stay home & out of the way, you dont need that stress at the moment. Why does she give you so much grief? I cant wait to her her reaction to the marriage, but you know what who cares what she has to say. I have been wondering, were you sad not to have your dad there on the day? What was his reaction?
M loved the chrissy party last night, she ended up on the trampoline (one of the ones with the nets) with the twins and giggled like crazy. We so know what she is getting next chrissy! However when Santa came out, she wouldnt sit on his knee, no suprise there, but he did give her a beach play set, bucket etc, which will come in handy. Also one of the twins had a huge in the night garden upsy daisy stuffed toy, which M carried around everywhere. So we went looking for one today & they were all around the $30 mark, which I guess isnt a huge amount but we are going to wait till the chrissy sales to see if its any cheaper for her.
I bought wedding shoes today, they are simple, strappy & a creamy colour & so comfy. & they were only $50 woo hoo!

Hi ladies, thought I'd pop on and let you all know we have crossed the border and are in SA!!!!!!!!! OMG I'm sooo excited even though we're not going to see anyone til tmrw! :D
Well I had a pretty amazing day yesterday, went out for a drive and bumped into our very own Rainy! LOL It was a real joy to finally meet you my dear and little L is just as gorgeous as he looks on the spotlight catalogue LOL. So sorry Ange you couldn't make it, fully understand. xxx
ALSO biiiiig apologies to Clare, but I'm sorry Rainy's chocolate shop is better than the one you took me too. LOL They bring out this tray lined with every chocolate they have in the shop and you pick the one you want complementary with your coffee. DD1's eyes practically bugged out of her head, she was still coming down off the chocolate high today. Also I'm feeling like a NER BRAIN because it didn't even occur to me to txt you re the meetup near Rainy's...just saw you in Canb a week ago! Wasn't thinking in Melb at all (brain prolly addled by the overhead tram wires). Derrrr. That wasn't very considerate of me. SORRY.
And I had an amazing day on friday, went for a stroll through Bourke St Mall and bumped into our very own Queenie! She said to send her love to everyone, she's pretty busy with study etc, little S is cruising so exciting times at her house.
OK, better go. DH thinks I can't last a week without BB and it looks like he's right. LOL Will try to read and catch up before my

Hi girls!
MD: LOL! i am soo jealous now of the chocolate shop outing!! mmmmmm chocolate!! now i know why Rainy lives where she does LOL!! mmmmmm
i have to say that one of my all time fav chocolate shops is in italy, pisa where DH lives...basically you walk in and choose which chocolate you would like melted and they melt it into a big mug and put fresh cream on top and you just stand there and eat/drink away! it makes me a bit sick after the first cup, but hey, it's a sickness i am willing to make!
Arte: good luck with travel! hope W behaves himself well enough on the plane...
Cally: that is so funny about the blueberry bush! i am sure Leila would be exactly the same. ATM her fav is blackberries. just powers through them like there is nooo tomorrow.
MM: ooh exciting about the wedding shoes!!! are there any firm plans re the wedding dates and places?? no doubt i have missed all the crucial news! LOL!
Noni: YAY! on the iron levels!! that is exciting news! ha ha ha at you having to clean the lounge! i know i shouldnt laugh, but man, if i had to do mine, i would pass out! LOL! ATM we have wrapping paper, tricycles, stickytape, smeared weet-bix everywhere....urrghhh. should clean it i suppose...
AFM: all good here. Leila is still shocking me with her killer poos. i have no idea what is going on or if this is just the next level in toddler poo. urgh.
we had a great day with her yesterday. were a bit mad and decided on a whim to go to toys r us (MM you inspired me!). so off we went. Leila found a dolly on the floor and carried it everywhere through the store and we came across those radio flyer trikes with the parent steer handle and they were on sale for $75!! normally they are around the $170ish mark, so i had to buy one. DH and I were going to get one a bit later as it is meant for 2 yrs+ but we couldnt pass it up. Leila is stoked. has been playing on it all morning and ringing the bell like there is no tomorrow! LOL!
anyway best dash, safe travelling for those hitting the kilometres this christmas!

Morning Ladies!
I hope everyone is well.
Cally:
If I remember correctly, the spots for pox only come out after the infected & contagious stage.
Hayley:
Thanks.
Alex found one of those trampolines whilst we were in holidays, the smallest one of the various sizes, think it goes up to 60kg. I am thinking the same, next yrs Xmas pres! (unless I can't wait!!).
Congrats on the shoes. I brought a pair of sandals (heels) & then when I found out I was preg I got some strappy flat sandals. Think all up, both pairs cost me $28.
Being away sometimes makes it harder to cope with what you would normally cope with at home. I am glad you are feeling better. We all get angry & cranky at times.
Noni:
Hope you are doing well. I feel you don't need to apologise, just take care of yourself.
****
I'm sitting here watching Jack tring to take the dummy out of Alex's mouth, Alex is very protective of his dummies so it is making it interesting. Jack must be teething, he's done nothing but tanty one after the other since getting up. He was throwing things. I had to go clean up a mess & now he's trying to help with the rest of the floor.
Anyways, we off to have a shower & then play blocks & cars.

Hi Girls,
Well a quick one from me today. Lots of work to do. Sent the boys off to spend a day
at Daddys work. lol . Livi is sleeping and the house is a mess So I have to go and clean it up before I go out for some Xmas shopping. Got all the laybys off now so its time to wrap wrap wrap... Livi has 3 new teeth and another on the way.
We are all good and looking forward to our holiday.
Hello to everyone and BBL to catch up.
-
hi girls,
just a boring ol' vent from here...
decided to be brave and renew my license today at vicroads...with Leila....
she did really really well until the point where we had to leave. then she cracked it, decided she was hungry then and there and had a complete meltdown. the place was packed, soooo many ppl just staring and not moving outta the way. leila threw herself on the floor and started kicking and screaming, i asked her to get up and because she was soo busy raging when she did pick herself up she went face foward into the wall...twice. she was sooooooo not happy. so there i am trying to navigate my way with a pram, a bag and a raging toddler (in the end i was holding onto ONE of her arms and trying to push through a crowd to get to the lift whereby NO ONE moved to let me press the button. now, you would have thought that i was on my own, but no, DH was there. he DID NOTHING to help me. didnt take my bag, the pram or leila, he was too busy filing away his papers and watching me. i felt like the worst mumma in the world and must have looked really cold hearted, as i just wanted to be out of there so didnt spend anytime consoling Leila after she walked herself into a wall (twice!). urghh.
all DH said after i told him that he could of helped was 'oh, sorry'. arrghhhh!!
sorry about the me vent. i am almost in tears after that. why couldnt he have stepped in to help??! it was obvious that she was throwing a tantrum with me!
-
Clare  I would have kicked my dh square up the bum if he did that to me, men are such pains sometimes. Sounds like you could use a bit of chocolate (my answer for everything lol).
Will be back for more later girls.
-
mmm yes, some chocolate would do very nicely right now LOL! may have to have a quick visit to the cafe downstairs for a brownie and latte...mmmm
-
Clare: sorry to hear you DH didn't help. thinking back, I used to have to say something to my ex to get him to help me in situation like that. hope you enjoyed your brownie & latte.
-
Clare- :comfort::comfort::comfort: You poor love. Sending you heaps of hugs. men are so dosile.
-
Hi girls just a quick one form me. I wont be around for a week or so, we are leaving for the big drive to Sydney at 4.30am. We want wish you all a Merry Christmas!! This is going to be such a fun Christmas. Stay safe and enjoy the holidays.
Will check in if I can otherwise I will catch up with you all in a week.
MERRY CHRISTMAS BEAUTIFUL LADIES AND YOUR FAMILIES!!!
-
hi girls, hope you are all doing well
clare- i think my dh probably would've done nothing too PITA!!!hope you're feeling a bit better about the whole situation now. sometimes going out is so stressful! no wonder i hardly ever leave the mountain
katie- have a great time in sydney, be safe :)
md- glad you enjoyed the choc shop, was so great to catch up :)
mm- i'm not entirely sure why mil hates me so much- she did scream at me a couple of times 'you've taken my son away from me' so i guess that's got something to do with it. she has absoutely no friends though, particularly women, and has always apparantely had problems getting along with people, so my dh tells me. he can't understand why i take it so personally and thinks i am way too sensitive about it all, considering he has been telling me for years she is a pyscho biatch. he can't understnad why i just can't believe him that she has something wrong with her and leave it at that. idk why i have so much trouble letting it all go, i just do.
i was a bit sad about dad not being at the wedding, but he completely understood where we were coming from and was happy to be an important part of the day by looking after L. he even gave us some money towards the rings. he wasn't upset at all by the situation as we spend lots of time with him, and is very much a part of our 'everyday' lives iykwim? so completely gets our headspace if that makes sense?
arte- if there was a forum on il troubles i would be on it everyday LOL, it's so nice to be able to vent about it here. you guys have all helped me out with this situation more than you will ever know.
have a great trip down south :)
i got my lovely nz made mountain buggy pram today, it's lovely!
-
Rainy - Oh please she sounds like she needs to do some growing up and realise that her little boy is now a grown man with a family! Is your DH an only child/son? Thats very sad that she is like that with you. Aww thats sweet what you said about your dad, he would have loved his day with L. I so wish we had of kept with our plan to elope to Broome now, even though we are having a simple backyard job the cost is starting to add up and people are starting to pee me off. So I LOVE your idea of a nice intimate day, between the two of you, thats what its all about after all. Congrats on the new pram, they look awesome.
Oz - Have a safe drive & a merry christmas!
Clare - Sounds like your day was a tad disasterous your poor thing!
Leemar - Well done on sending the boys off to work with dad lol!
Andie - You sound like an awesome mum, you are always playing games with the kids!
Noni - Dont worry I am behind on the chrissy shopping too. Hope you got your house nice & clean and that the dinner turned out well. Have you spilled the exciting news to your families yet?
MD - Hope you have reached your destination by now, what an adventure for the kids.
-
I have been so slack and not been posting in here! I have been reading though.
Off for haircuts for Paige and I today (and Alister if he will co-operate LOL) and then groceries. Luckily Lindsay is off helping DH for the day so it will only be the younger three, cause it's going to be a stinker here today and it always makes the kids so cranky
-
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa kicks and screams!!
i just wrote this mammoth post finally replying to everyone and ofc my bloody net cut out and i lost it all waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
now i have to go coz ashas finished breaky.. its not fair!!!!
-
Noni, bummer!! It is sooo annoying when that happens
Rainy, Hopefully the IL situation will lessen in time, I had a terrible flatting situation where my best so called friend was a real B to me (because my relationship lasted longer than any of hers had!!) and it made me upset and twisted to even think about it for ages. Now I am thinking of stalking her on facebook lol.... I guess it would be much harder when it is family though. Speaking of IL's, my BIL gives me the ****s bigtime, it is so hard to stay here with his bubble of anti-everything negativity!
Thanks for buying NZ made, you won't regret it
MD, Yay for being back in SA. There really is no place like home. I haven't regretted moving back here for a second.
Clare, I would have been fuming if DH just stood around and did nothing! Sounds like a horrid experience
Ozstar, have a great trip and a merry Xmas
Will was really good on the plane trip down here, he was happy to see all the planes - he has a plane/helicopter obsession lately. At mums there is a little tikes ride in car which he loves and when we stay there he entertains himself for hours getting in and out of it and pushing it around. He loves it so much that 'car' was the first thing he said in the morning and the last thing at night lol
-
Evening Ladies!! I hope our days were good ones today.
Rainy:
Your MIL reminds me of my (ex)-MIL. Tho mine was nice to me but I think she felt, & still prob does, that I took her son away from her, but I don't think she realises, it was his choice to move out of home, not mine.
MM:
I try :) I realise how important play time with mum is to them & their behaviour. Sometimes I have to make a consious effort but in the end, its benefical to everyone.
Leanne:
Sorry bout f/b last nite. It froze on me & I decided just to go to bed. Alex found my lolly fruit tingles (small packets) & wanted pkt after pkt (only had 4 left) till all was gone. Tho he didn't get any mulit colour ones & Jack was given 4 but only ate 2.
Arty:
cute on the "car" word. Glad he was good on the plane for you.
***
AFM:
OMG I am exhausted!! dropped the car off for a service at 8.45 (mind u we slept in till 7,30 & leave for daycare at 8.15) & didn't stop walking, shopping etc. Good thing was I able to try things on for a change! haha. & I bought heaps, but only went between $50 & $70 over budget which I thougt was pretty good. Only the cold stuff has been put away. Going to do the rest once boys are in bed & asleep.
Jack:
has a habit of climbing into his cot!! cos he knows thats where he has his bottle & then he wants out.
ATM he's carrying his packet of chips around & turning around in circles giggling to himself,
Alex:
has been into his coffee (aka Ovaltine to us who are wiser) again l8ly.
Was talking to daycare mum this afternoon, & she is amazed at how both boys have "blossomed" since going to daycare 3 days a week. Alex is babbling sentances whilst Jack has more words in general.

hello everyone
noni- same thing happened to me the other day. i wanted to scream!
arte- yea i can relate to having your thinking be all twisted. i'm just hoping the whole situation gets a little better with time. how long has it been since you spoke to your friend? what's made you want to stalk now?
i can't believe will can say 'car''. lewis can't say anything yet!
well dh made me go out today to buy presents for his parents cos he doesn't know how to do it cos i always buy them their presents. well, i wasn't going to get them anything this year, but he said we had to cos every year forhis birthday they buy him something big (last yr a $1400 welder) and he doesn't want to do anything to make that stop gggrrr. anyway,so i got them a lovely teacup set and a beautiful scented candle and some drill bits from bunnings (for his dad). dh bought me a candle as a reward for having good grace, dderrrr i only did it so he'd still get presents! anyway, the goodnews is dh and i have been getting along a lot better and i'm not so anxious about him going and seeing her...
just wanted to ask you guys, iknow i've asked before, but how much is everyone's bubs sleeping now?
do you think it's reasonable to have lewis going to bed at 7pm. waking around 6-7am and then having one day nap from about 11am. idk, i just don't feel like it's enough, but i'm sick of him waking up late from his 2nd day nap and then not wanting to go back to bed till 9.30pm. it's too tiring for me. where are you guys at with it all?
hi andie- i can't believe mils can be so immature though? why can't they just be happy that their sons are happy?
if lewis grows up to find a woman that makes him laugh, treats him well, doesn't cheat or lie or anything, i'll be stoked!
-
Hi Rainy .. Jack has the approx the same routine as Lewis does now (his day nap can alter but I always try to put him down at the same time so that he gets used to that time being bed time) & it suits him. All I can suggest is to try it & if it doesn't work, alter it. .. MIL's - tell me about it!! Wen we saw the family the other week my ex barely acknowledged me cos his mum & sis were present, then wen he ran into just him at the shops, he gave me a cuddle & kissed my cheek cos he was alone. I have this feeling that they are holding him back. We've been getting on really well lately & we are both greatly looking forward to his visit (arriving tomorrow). Tho a friend said he mite of acted diff cos his family has a way of reading into things & twisting fables esp, when it comes to me.
My house is a diaster zone & right now, I am too buggered to do anything about it. :( Mite have some energy later though, hopefully! I'm not exhausted enof tho to go to bed / sleep ...
-
Rainy - I still havent done my outlaw shopping, its so hard buying for them! As for sleep, M is in bed by 7.30/8pm and sleeps till 7.30/8ish (mind you with half a dozen wakes during the night ) & just has the one day nap of anywhere between 2-3 hrs. So yes we only do the one day nap and its usually right in the middle of the day starting at 12/1ish. I'd have the same problem with M wanting to be up till late if she had two naps, besides that she will no longer do two naps anyway! I think that should be more than enough sleep for L, but then again they are all different, give it a go & see?
Andie - Oh wow thats nice that the kids dad is coming down, for chrissy right? Had a little chuckle at Alex and his 'coffee' how cute is that. I agree daycare is doing wonders for M as well, socialisation wise, but in the language department she isnt really saying any words, however has started saying 'baaa' which is 'ta'. ;)
Arte - Good I'm glad W was fine on the plane for you. What a clever boy, sounds like the car is a real hit.
Noni - Dont worry we've all had that happen to us!!
Trillian - How did the haircuts go?
Everyone ready for chrissy!??? YAY! I'm going to eat so much!!
I gave M curry for dinner tonight, it was left overs from the other night that I had frozen. She was crying for tea, I'd just got home from work/daycare, so I whipped it out & she scoffed it down lol. Mind you I did use MD's trick of stirring philly cheese through it to take the bite off it. She loved it!
-
MM: I'm ready, house isn't  lucky xmas isn't really being held here .. the only thing left is to put the quad bikes together & charge the batt's. .. yes Alex quite enjoy's his "coffee" at times. He had me make him a 2nd one except this time, I had to have one (a real one tho) with him .. Yes I am glad the boys dad is making the effort to come down
Thunder over head
Just finished wrapping the toys from santa & put them in the bottom of the santa sacks & then put choc's, toothbrushes & clothes loosely in the sacks.
Just got to wrap the jumping castle from Will & I for the boys.
Wondering if I should put the bikes together 2nite .. seeing as I'm on the move .. hmm, ...
-
thanks for your replies about sleep girls
i'm going to trial it for the next couple of days, see how it goes
tonight he went down at 7pm and has had one wake up so far at 10pm. i wonder what time he'll wake up in the morning though? ahh we'll see
andie- do you think you would ever get back with your x? sorry if that is too personal :)it just sounds like you don't get on toooo badly iykwim?
mm- what are you going to buy outlaws??
-
Rainy: sometimes I think I would like to be back with my ex, other times I'd be happy to find someone else. I am just going to let things flow & see which way the ball swings. I have no idea where I stand in his books, he has some idea of where he stands. If we do end up back together, I know it won't be a quick resolution, well I don't want a quick one, I believe we would have "issues" to work thro, like how & why we ended where we did. Its something I would want to take gradual
Well the bikes are put together. One is more complicated to ride than the other & unfort I think the bigger one is the easiest one,
The red one (Disney cars) has a button to push with the thumb to go & is a tad bit higher than the other. Its also 8mths +
The orange one has a button under the foot & is 2 - 5 yrs, & is a tad smaller
ideas, suggestions ... ??
i'm off for a shower to shave my legs & wash my new bras & undies (after I hide them bikes .. OMG they are sooo cute .. pic on f.b in my Xmas Festivites Album)
Nite Ladies, hope its a good one

Jacks new word "booboo" ... stands for doodle ... & his hand goes to his nappy & when he says it ...
-
hi girls!
just a quickie here...
Rainy: i think Leila is similar in sleep to L. although *sometimes* she does two good 2 hour-ish sleeps a day. but mostly it is one good one, then off to bed around 7-7.30.
Andie: we just put together Leila's trike and man oh man you need an engineering degree LOL! so i take my hat off to you putting together 2!!
MM: oooh MDs trick sounds good!! i'll have to try it! i made beef rendang last night and it was waaay too spicy for miss L. poor thing. so she ended up with zucchini soup mixed with kiri cheese. (from our own garden too!!).

Still no sign of spots here, but this morning she has been super snuggly (very unusual) and has a bit of a temp. If she is contagious, she probably gave it to her cousin this morning!
K sleeps from 7:30 to 6-7. She still has two day sleeps, but can manage with one.
Rainy - well done on pressies for the IL's. I let DH deal with all his family - so they all got wine or beer this year! K doesn't have any words yet either, but the pointy finger is very good at letting us know what she wants.
Trill - how did the haircuts go? We need to do K's fringe soon, it's starting to get into her eyes.
Well if I don't come back later:
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!:D

hey everyone,
gonna attempt to post again lol..
sigh im over xmas and it hasnt even really started yet!! i mean im looking forward to tmw morning with dp and asha but the rest of it i just am not interested!!
tonight we have to go to dps dads place and i really dont want to go.. dp told them last night about the pregnancy because they needed to know for food and his dads response was "oh god"... so isnt that nice and u know the thing that makes me angry the most is that dp just went along with it without saying anything.. like how hard is it to say well actually were happy about it?? grrrr he never stands up to his dad and i really hate it.. anyway needles to say i am now very reluctant to tell anyone else in the family for fear of how they may or may not react :(
mmm what else.. oh dps brothers g/f who is pregnant is in hospital with pains, not related to the baby but they cant figure out what it is.. dosnt look good shes currently constant;y on morphine and theyve told her theyd like to do a ct scan which ofc involves a rick of misscarriage, but if they dnt figure out what the problem is shed have to potentially stay in hospital for the rest of the pregnancy (shes only around 11wks i think) on morphine and if she went off the morphine the stress of the pain would most likely cause her to misscarry eeeek.. we havnt told them yet that we are pregnant either which i am extremely worried about!!
anyway enough about me time to get some personals done!!
cally - fingers crossed its not contagious and shes just teething or something..
andie - thos bikes sound great im sure the boys will love them!!
rain - hope the sleep is going well.. glad things are going better with dh now i had a little laugh at him just wanting to get them something so that he will continue to recieve presents ahh the xmas spirit hahaha..
mm - well done on the curry, asha will eat anything too lol she ate pasta with chilli sauce the other day right off my plate and came back for more haha!
arte - glad will was well behaved on the plane! so cute he loves the car so much he was saying it when he woke up!
well thats everyone on this page lol biig hello to everyone else hope your not out xmas shopping like poor dp is atm!!! oh and ofc
MERRY CHRISTMASEVERYONE

Okay Ladies...there is no way that I am going to be able to catch up on all the posts that I have missed since moving house and having no net. I am trying but if anyone wants to give me a brief overview, I would be eternally grateful. lol. I'm only up to page 12 of #41. Slack, I know.
Well for me...we're in our new place and are slowly getting settled. We had a house guest stay with us for a few weeks who has finally gone home so I can now finish off that room and completely organise myself. We got the computer, laptop, wireless, multifunction, house phone set up and next is the web cam (to chat to my mummy).
Nothing else new has happened to me. But OMG Sarah is advancing in leaps and bounds. She started climbing soon after we moved so I constantly find her on the kitchen table, or the coffee table and now on her bookshelf (little toy box built in under it). She falls off and still will climb back on. I admire the determination that shes got but by golly shes drivin' me nuts!
She still doesn't speak much (not in english anyway...just baby babble). She does this very cute thing where she sort of babbles with her tongue involved. Hard to explain but I'm trying to catch it on video. Really annoying though when trying to get her to bed and I'm losing by patience and she looks at me and does it. Makes me laugh whilst I pull my hair out. Shes running around now and loves going up and down the steps. Shes actually quite good and the front steps are normal and easy enough for her. The back steps however give me the heebie jeebies because it is concrete underneath and wider treads then normal.
I spent last night wrapping pressies and was astounded at what we have got her. We'd already given her some outdoor toys (slide, sand/water table and picnic table) as an early present because we had a mothers group get together here so pulled them out to entertain. Then she'll open tomorrow a Ladybug wheelybug, a personalised christmas story, a percussion table (xylophone, drums, cymbal (sp?) built in) and blocks from Boikido. Shes also got this really cute dollshouse shaped bookcase that we have to put together tonight. We had another thing for her as well, it was a table with storage underneath and two matching chairs, but have decided to hold off on that until her birthday next year. Spoilt little miss.
Although, speaking of spoilt, I did get a plasma for christmas. Its a joint present to Rory and me and came with a bonus Wii!!! Thats by redemption so have to wait to get that. We are also heading out when Sarah wakes from her nap to get a surprise gift for each other.
Anyhoo, I hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas with lots of presents and magical self cleaning houses. Everyone take care and chat soon. :grouphug:

Hi Kate, glad to hear you are all settled in to your new place. Good to have you back!! I dont know where you got up to, but Rainy got married & Arte bought a house, thats the major news lol. Plasma you lucky girl!!! Wow yes S is a very lucky girl too!
Noni - Oh no I'm so sorry about your FIL's reaction. Why does he feel this way? How can he not be happy about it knowing how special A is? Dont worry about them though, its your life and you will do whatever you want, whatever makes you happy. Dont worry I'll be nervous about dropping the news (if it ever happens again) on my own dad, as he is very over protective and has actually said to me dont have another baby. I dont understand this as he loves M to bits and thinks she is great, so why wouldnt he want another grandchild? Hmmmm parents hey!?
Andie - Wow the bikes sound cool I'll have to check out the FB pics. Thats nice that there is a chance with the boys father, but good that you will be taking it slow. You may discover that you are happier without him afterall.
Cally - We bought alot of alcohol as pressies, its so easy isnt it. I hope the temp is just related to teething.
Clare - I use MD's philly cheese trick with heaps of things now, I have even passed on the trick to my SIL and a few mums from mums group, we all think its a good one!! I am about to put together M's bike now...wish me luck...
Rainy - I just went down to the shops to get the outlaws pressies, what a joke the shops are madness. Anyway I just got FIL two nice polo shirts, MIL a crystal serving bowl as she is a crystal fan and got the granny a garden ornament as she spends all her days in the garden, so sweet.
We had such a shocker night last night, M has another molar coming through. So she was up and down poor thing. We are taking her down the road to see the chrissy lights tonight on her new smart trike.
