here i am again.... the abandoned mother!!
had the WORST night with N last night - he is going through massive developmental leaps at the moment - singing whole songs (twinkle twinkle - not all the words but phraseology and signs - adorable), suddenly into all things w wheels, obsessed with drawing, 2 word sentences regularly and seriously about to walk... so he woke at 11 and stayed up til 2 trying out most of these things.... wouldnt settle for DH (as per what iw as saying earlier inthe week) and so it was nightmareish.... he also seems to be getting his canine teeth (is that what they are called) so i am in for a ripper of a week! he totally lost it when we dropped dh at airport (i thought he was going to do one of his blue attacks but thankfully he didnt) so he is def aware of all that and i am sure he will be syuper clingy. i sense a co sleeping week ahead of me! i am getting bigger and i dont have the energy to rock for 3 hrs anymore! (oh help me with the baby arrives!!). anyway i am onto the teetikng with my wonderful friend brauers and he is sleeping now so i have some soup bubbling away and a pasta bake in the oven so at least we wont starve!!! dh also went and bought me hot cross buns this morning so i am making my way through them - yummo! anyway... enough about me me me!
Rainy - hmm not there today??? i am trying not to keep wondering where you are but it is killing me... phone next to me waiting for that text though i suspect AAAJOdie will get the 1st one LOL!
Arte - i agree the tantys dont stop with words.. i think they aid in the general moddiness factor - ie do you want some fruit 'NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!' oh i get it you dont want any LOL!!!
Clare - whats up with bella (is that the dog name, for some reason i think so - gosh i hope it isnt your MIL or something LOL!!).
i had a shopping spreee (all for n and little one) yest at country road - OMG they have some gorgeous stuff in for winter - boys and girls this time (usually ia m just jealous of how much girls stuff but this time there was a good mixture)...
MM how is the paypal thinsg turning out? been thinking about you honey. i was telling dh eh is outraged... i dont think we will be using ours again..
Sherie - the party sounds scary... adn lots of fun! LOL at Lindsay bailing, he sounds like such a gentle and lovely boy.

ETA the pasta bake was so quick and such a hit with Master N that I thought i would share with you all.
it is so easy and pretty yummy too. basically boil the pasta (i used elbows) make a cheese sauce - i used 2 cups milk, 50g butter and a couple of tablespoons flour. add heaps of grated cheese and then stir through some passata to make it pink and tomatoey tasting (about 400ml maybe). then grate in heaps of vegies - i used courgette, carrot, onion this time. mix through pasta and put into a baking tray lined with gladbake. sprinkle more cheese on top and bake 180deg for about 20 mins til golden and bubbling. he LOVED it, i had to ration it!!! this made heaps - i will have for dinner too and it will prob do at least another adults dinner and a couple more meals for him (or another adulst meal prob). yummo. wiuld also be good with canned salmon or tuna but i didnt have any to hand. all up took about 40 mins go to whoah.

Also meant to say Clare thanks for the wonderful containers of water w food colourimg tip. N LOVES it... that and a pot of dirt in our ackyard have been keeping him entertained in that horrid after dinner before bath pergatory the last few days.... it is a huge hit here!!
