arte- i have a bit of a dislike as my xbf's xgf was named amelia...yes, i still holdge a grudge...stupid i know, but you know how certain people turn you off a name?
olive is my absolute favourite atm, it's just so pretty.
i think evie would go really well with your surname too.

well everyone lewis realy enjoyed going to care this morning. we stayed for 2 hours and he was singing and dancing and even snuggled up on a beanbag with a little girl named eliza and she read him a book. the leader is a funky looking grandma with purple trackies who goes around singing and cuddling up to the kids on a big old chair. it was pretty cool. he starts there next monday-there is 6 kids in the group (7 with lewis) and 3 carers- pretty good ratio reckon!
now i have to buy him a lunchbox and schoolbag....my little man is growing up! *sob sob*

cally- we got our stimulus money last week. did you do your taxes through an accountant? as our cheques were sent to our accountant and then he sent them to us which explains some of the delay.
ooohhh beauty day sounds like bliss. get a pedicure while you're there too, i love pedicures.....i wanna go get one badly!!!!

Arte - haven't watched it yet...saw the final ep of part 1 of season 4 and decided it was prolly going to be a little on the too-bleak side. Had a few bleak weeks in there and could only handle light and fluffy. Haven't forgotten either that I'm sending something to you. When I get around to it!

Cally are you really planning on only having the 1? Was this a post-birth decision or something you always wanted? BTW I did copy the post but then my whole puter crashed so it well and truly went to cybernowhere. Cally I think it's close enough to May 16th to justify ringing them to enquire!!

Md - how are you going? I loved your quote on fb about faith and fear. I have so many fears it does my head in sometimes. I'm a real pessimist.

JaZaH actually I'm having a bit of a dilemma today...not sure yet if I need to book more care for E once chemo starts...she has been missing me these last few weeks (extra care, DH has been looking after her etc while i rest) but on the other hand I'm worried about how I'm going to cope. What do you think?

Hi md - have you got any close friends or family that would go to your place and look after Miss E? (i guess it would have to be someone that you felt incredibly comfortable with too) That way she could still see you and get the occasional cuddle. I know that all chemo medicines are different and have different effects on people - so i guess you won't know how you're going be feeling until you have it. I know when my mum had chemo, there were a couple of weeks where she felt ok, and then one week that she felt quite sick - i think it may have been the last week before the next round started. I'm not sure though. Can you book the days in and then not send her if you're feeling ok? It's that mummy guilt thing isn't it. Little rascals they are

Yep. She's so happy today, it's the first full day we've had at home together, just her and me, in about 4 weeks. Not to mention the expense of it all. No one who can really look after her here for me. Am thinking maybe I should book her in, but then if I'm ok, change the hours so we spend the morning together when I've got oomph and then she can go to care in the afternoon for a few hours - long enough for me to have a proper sleeping rest so I'm functional in the evenign when DD1 and DH are home. Problem with booking care - if I book, I pay.
