Hi girls
Argh, I am so, so behind here. I just keep forgetting to check BB these days. Thinking of you all, though.
Hannah - I just wanted to say that I think you are being very, very hard on yourself. I think some of us just have these huge expectations of how we're going to be as mothers - expectations that no one could actually live up to - and then we beat ourselves up when we don't live up to them. I think it sounds like at least a trial of you staying home could be a good thing?
Hi to everyone else, sorry I don't have the mental power for proper replies.
As for me. Well, health has been a bit crappy again lately - just the stress of the last few months catching up to me, I think. That, and Liam has been sleeping badly since the beginning of the year, which means that I'm chronically sleep deprived. The last few weeks he's been back to napping properly (two naps a day again, and some days - like today - his morning sleep has been 1.5hr+ and afternoon sleep 1-1.5hr) and I've been napping in the afternoon as well. It sucks, but there's not much else I can do. My rheumatologist wants me to go back on methotrexate, but I really don't want to go down that route again. I hate autoimmune diseases
Liam is walking properly now, too. And much happier for it - I think he just really likes being independent in his movements. Though his teeth are clearly bugging him at the moment, which is making him a little clingy. He seems to be getting new words every few days, too.
And you girls are all making me seriously cluckyOn one hand, I kind of dread going through the first year with a baby again since Liam was so much work, but hey, I could get lucky and have an easy bub
Maybe somewhere near the end of the year we will start trying. I need to get my health a bit more stable first.

I"m glad you enjoyed your mothers group, it makes such a difference to have a bunch of girls in the same position as you to bounce ideas off and such. Glad your scan went well, I can't remember what you said...do you think you will find out whether its a boy or girl?
Do let us know how she goes with her tests.
good mothering there! The doc said nothing I could have done just one of those things. After they flushed them he was really jumpy for a few days cos everything was so load for him, poor little man.
for her. Let us know how she goes!
YAY the doll house, did some one make it for you?
! Thanks for replying to my other thread about it. You know what it's like. People always point the finger at the mother. But I think I've let it go now. I was really angry and upset for a few days because it went beyond the normal criticism people generally dose out. But I think I don't just know but feel (IYKWIM) that they're actually her issues and not mine. She has a lot of regrets about how she brought her kids up and now she thinks it's her place to put everyone right.
So we need to be a bit selective about what is ok to be covered in poo!
But they also won't starve themselves to prove their point. I just make sure everything I offer is nutritious and not many unnecessary snacks so everything that does go in is all good.
on my last HPT. Holey Moley!.... So by the looks of things I will have another little bundle around the middle of October. It's been a rough few days, really up and down. I couldn't get a decent reading from any HPT and then there was spotting cramping. It's been a rollercoaster to say the least. But this morning I got the strongest line ever and I am so tired in the afternoon. I am going to the Drs today but I usually find they just say 'congratulations' and give you a thingy for blood tests.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
