nah, just gave them raw. apparently because they're acidic, that they can give some babies a rash but DS was fine. i don't think they do much more than suck on foods initially so if they do eat anything it's very mushy, if that makes sense? these strawberries were quite ripe so they must have mushed up easily in his mouth. he did end up with strawberry juice all over him & so did DP! check out the BLS chatter thread - there's heaps of good info if you are interested
