Hi ladies, I am going to join in here if that is ok, though it seems pretty quiet in this group too. Looks like most people had their babies either in early May or late June.
Alice is my 3rd bub, 1st DD. She was born on the 30th May, 8 days early. She was 2.9kg and 50cm at birth. Everything is going fine, she is growing rapidly. We had our 6 week check on Wednesday and she is now 4.8kg and 55 cm long. That is a jump from the 10th percentile to the 75th. My boys grew really fast so I was hoping Alice would be a little slower to stop being a little bub, but it looks like I am going to lose on that one.
BSK, glad you have sorted out the BFing problems. Because I have large breasts I have always had to grab my whole areola and shove it into the baby's mouth to get the attachment right. It is easier once bub gets bigger and they can get their mouth open more.
I have also had to be stricter with Alice and her feeding. She would happlily feed every 1 1/2 hours, but I am trying to resettle instead of feed each time. It is really hard because the boys think she needs to be picked up every time she cries so they rush into the room when they here her and she doesn't even get a chance to settle herself again.
Hi Kaydee and Emzi82. How are things going for you guys?
