Mc_hope: similar to what bubbaT said. At the hospital one if the midwifes said to keep it bright during the day and dark at night. We leave curtains etc open for her day sleeps and at night we just use lamps, so dim light and then obviously dark when we sleep. She seems to be starting to get the hang of it. Also try and get a routine for night. I find that helps.

CT: that's good the nurses visit was positive for you. It's reassuring sometimes when they aren't fussed is his vomitting improving?

Afm: what a night last night! We were at a big anniversary party and it was loud and busy. MIL took her so I could eat, but I saw she started getting passed to extended family. That and every second person looking, touching, cooing etc. Poor Muffet was gawking at everything!! Anyways I said to MIL I need to feed her. She says oh if she goes over that's good! I said no because this LO will just want to make up her missed feeds tonight...anyway eventually reclaim my child
Get dh so I can feed in the car. Pop her on, she's feeding as per normal until she comes off. Then she vomits! Like half her stomach contents! Luckily I had a towel under her. Poor thing is soaked. I'm trying to move her when wham rest of contents come up! We had to come home and change her (and me). She's never done it before!!
Does anyone know if overstimulation can do that?
Even when we went back to say goodbye she was gawking and wouldn't sleep.
She's been sleeping ok so far tonight though...
