Meercat, Fraser adores telly. We realised when we had Rage on one Saturday that he was all calm, then kicked off when the ads came on. He was fine when the music came back on and screamed when it finished. I had to pop him into the other room to watch the music channels on Fox! He was a happy bunny then! He loves any of the music channels, but also likes Eastenders and Sex and the City! Don't feel bad about it. I mentioned it to the CHN and she said it was fine, as long as we're not using it as a distraction all of the time.
Human Bean, thanks so much for the info. I think it now may be a little late for Fraser as he's 3.5 months now and it says it makes a difference up to 4 months. He's turning his head all the way to the right now after his physio sessions, so we may have to just live with it.
~b~, good on you for co-sleeping. I could never do it - I find it hard enough sleeping sometimes as it is!
Con, that's awesome about Grace - hope it all goes well!
Sorry - got distracted beyond that!
As for us, we tried Fraser on baby rice cereal tonight. It didn't go as badly as I expected, but he wasn't keen. We put in some fruit puree after the 3rd mouthful, but it didn't make too much of a difference. He hasn't been drinking his milky very well for almost 2 weeks now - only taking about half of what he should, but as he still put on weight, we were told not to worry about it. I think giving him the cereal gave him a shock and he drank all his bottle after we stopped trying to give him it!
We also bought Fraser a Jumperoo today which he has been playing in this afternoon. He is so funny in it! He had 3 yellow pages under his feet, but he did very well! He didn't bounce too much but just loved looking at everything.
I've had a shocking cold for the last 5 days - it's been awful! I didn't even manage to get dressed one day as I felt so bad! Not like me at all. Just starting to feel a bit better today, but my head pounds every time I cough.
