We have honestly not purchased anything big for this baby and don't plan too. All we are getting is a set of drawers and possibly an arms reach co sleeper because we still co sleep.

It was a bit easier for us to make the decision though because luckily DP is in a job where I don't have to work so the child care fees and stuff are not an issue for us. I hope you guys can agree soon!!

so do i meercat! i think too that with both of us working there should be no reason why we couldnt afford another baby. DH said to me the other night had i thought about what we would do as far as clothes and such were concerend if it was a girl. i said of course, get my baby shower this time that i missed out on with hamish and ask everyone to buy clothes for a girl lol
he did admit tho that with everything we went thru with hamish, he would prefer i spoke to an ob here in wagga and see what they said before he made his final decision. we got into a huge argument the other night as i said that ultimately its his yes or no we were waiting on. he then said thanks because if he said no then i would make him regret his decision and it wasnt fair to make it all onto him. i said poor wording said by me then. but i also did say that it was a joint decision not just me saying yes despite him wanting no. itms. i really envy those who can make quick decisions like this and not have to go thru all this back and forth! doing my head in

Itd be tough Teresa I dont envy your situation. We've always known we wanted two children. Maybe three but depends on number 2.
I hope you both come up with a decision that works for both of you xx

Afm I am so frickin hot.

Going for a swim this arvo thank goodness. Our a/c has been broken all week and I'm about to stab someone.

Hi ladies. It has been really quiet in here!

MissB - good luck with your ttc next year. At least you will be able to let your hair down over Christmas!

Can you believe our little ones will be 3 next year? One of the girls in our playgroup has her 3rd birthday next Friday and it's hard to believe how old they are...

Angus is going really well. His language has come so far in the last 6 months. He still doesn't speak in sentences all the time, but he's getting there. His swimming (which he loves) was cancelled due to the water being to cold, so all day he was telling us that. We tried to extend it to a sentence, but we ended up with "water too cold AT swimming" and no joke an average of every 2 minutes over about an hour!! His daycare had a confirmed case of hand, foot and mouth disease - which I think he's got too.

Hugo is going really well too - he's 3 months already. He's a champion sleeper and has been sleeping 10 hours a night since he was 2 weeks! Sometimes I forget that I have a newborn (well he's not really anymore). And he's a little chubber! Was 6kg at 6 weeks and now he's just above the 75th percentile for weight and height.

I hope everyone else is doing well :-)

    Hi girls

Still going through domestic violence counselling and mediation. Haven't heard from ex since July. My lawyer has said I'm in a strong position if it comes to that thankfully, so fingers crossed.

Indy is doing well, still happy and healthy, which I'm thankful for.

That is kind of a downer, but I'm back playing cricket so that's a plus!

Glad to hear good stuff from the rest of you

rach - hope the BP stabilizes for you!

miss b - agree with nat. at least you can let your hair down over christmas and relax a little bit before you start again next year!

rooey - glad you and indy are doing well. i love cricket!

afm, we FINALLY got an asthma diagnoses for hamish. he has been put on a preventer now so fingers crossed that it works because being sick 3 times in 7 weeks was just too much. i dont have much sick leave left so i cant afford to take anymore time off of work. hamish has been going great guns with his speech too. sometimes copies what we say but his vocabulary is just awesome! tho we swear he swore the other day and said the f word. he had a cup under his arm, bent over to pick something up on the floor, spilled some water on the floor, said "oh f....." then stood up. DH and I were like "did he just say what i think he just said" ooops guess i better curb my swearing a bit more in front of him

Yay for finally getting the diagnosis teresa! Hopefully now you can get on top of it, poor little guy! Would be awful to be sick so often LOL at picking up the F-bomb, they use it in context too which makes funnier/more shocking!

Hiya Rooey, how much longer do you have to do the counseling/mediation? Must be a relief to know you're in a strong position Great to hear that Indy is doing really well, I hope you are too xx

MissB I am sorry to hear that TTC is on hold for now Wishing you all the very best success for the new year!!

Fabulous news about your two little guys Nat What an awesome sleeper Hugo is! I can't believe we've had Blake in our lives for nearly 3 years already too, it sounds so long, but has gone so fast! I hope the hand foot & mouth is only a mild short-lived case, it's looks such an uncomfortable illness.

Rach - 32 weeks already! Yay! Nearly there now I can't wait to find out if it's a pink or a blue bundle! Hope the blood pressure tabs are doing their job

AFM everything is going well and smooth so far. I don't feel any bigger than I was with Blake, not yet anyway! Blake is growing up way too fast though - he's moved into his new room and a king single bed, ditched his dummies and his bottles of milk ( was still morning and a night one) all in the space of about 2 weeks. So proud of him, all that's left now is toilet training. He does some wees in the toilet, but I haven't really tried the proper 'training' just yet. Soon, just don't wanna push too much change on him at once I think. An toileting tips would be much appreciated!

Good to hear from you Rooey. Hope you and Indy are well. Do you feel better for not having heard from him for so long?

Sorry to hear you are having to take a break from ttc miss b. hope the break does you good emotionally and physically.

Glad you've finally got a diagnosis Teresa. Why is asthma so hard to diagnose?

Good to hear from you ree ree! I want to see a photo of your belly please! Great to hear Blake is going great guns! Jemma has also ditched the dummy (um forced is prob all better word..!) and hasn't had it for about 2 weeks. Doesn't even ask for it anymore. She's almost fully toilet trained. I think the best advice is to let them decide to make the first move. I tried since she was 2 and she just wasn't ready. So i stopped and started a lot. Always left the potty put tho and one day she decided that she wanted to and that was it. She's now on the toilet. Still prefers nappies for poos but that's ok for now.

Hi nat. Any believe Hugo is that old now!! Great to hear all is going well.

Did I miss anyone? Sorry if i did

we took the dummy off of hamish in january after he fell over and hit his mouth on the window sill and bent his two front teeth. havent had bottles since august last year either. so havent had to worry about those now for awhile.

asthma is so hard to diagnose because the doctors here are idiots! it was only when i demanded a referral to a paediatrician that someone thought they better do something about it. plus its hard to diagnose it in children less then 2 years but hamish has been 2 now for awhile so i really have no idea certainly doesnt make sense to me!

as for TT i have no idea. hamish will stand next to the toilet, hold his man bit and groan trying to wee but hasnt used the toilet yet. he knows the basics. still dont think he is 100% ready yet.

cant wait to see everyones BA soon!

Ugh, so he's taking it to court. Did one session of mediation in separate rooms and the next day he went back and asked them to issue the certificate saying mediation failed. So I have to go in on Monday to do Legal Aid forms and all that stuff I really hope everyone who's been telling me I have a strong case are right!
