Sarah, she is beautiful. : )
As for the tubal, possibly listen to them... and then make your own decision. I have a girlfriend who had her kids very young, 15,17 and 19. She now has given birth to a girl... 12 years later. If you have doubts now, let it rest. People can have their opinions but ultimately it lies with you. I know social work and how it goes... so go, listen and then leave. You are the only one that can make that choice, regardless of what they tell you! xx

Btw did I tell you what a kick ass job you are doing? What a kick ass job all of us are doing??

This thread can be so fantastic when it not judgmental and just supports others.... That is what it is ment to do, I think. So grateful for those that do. : )

Don't you just love that 1st morning gummy smile you get when you walk in bubs room and say goodmorning.

Sarah-Its a very hard decision after my last son almost 14 years ago i swore i would not want anymore the boys father was a wa#ker but could not bring myself to permanantly prevent conception it wasnt until i met the love of my life 5 years ago that i had the desire to give him what he really wanted a baby because he really wasnt there for his daughter with his ex their marriage was crap also.
Now at 37 and 39 i feel i have had enough and it would be to risky with our 1 in 4 chance of having an SLO baby DH would like a biological son and has told me he wont get the snip just yet because he would like one more so we are in a little dilema if DH had a high paying job where money was not an issue then i might consider it but i dont want to have to worry about money.
But dont let people pressure you to do what you might regret later.

I have a picture of ella in the shower with her dad on my FB page also lol.
I couldnt see your pic it wouldnt let me.

AFM- The weather sux here cold wet and miserable.

Haha jak I've done that before.
Well yesterday I felt like the worst mumma in the world. Was cutting Chloes nails, and on the last one she pulled her hand away and I nicked her finger and it bled I felt so so bad! I cried more than her I think. I hate those frigin nail clippers, but hate biting them off too.

Ferrals hope your ds had a great birthday
Iona, wedding is getting close! Do you feel prepared? I hated the lead up. but loved it at the same time lol.

Ellasmummy-Yehhh! i hate those nail clippers i cut ella's the other day and it felt like i was cutting skin i freaked but she didnt make a peep so it must have just been her soft nails i had to do them she scratches the hell out of me.

And i have hurt my girl by accident to she hates having tops put on and fidgets and whinges and i was struggling to get her top on and her finger bent back and she cried not screamed just cried but i felt terrible.

My son had a great 18th was spoiled rotten he got his 1st tattoo a big dragon on his shoulder and arm it looks great he got $500 worth of gift cards for JB HI FI and city beach jay jays jean ect he got all new clothes and shoes for going out clubbing from us he got $300 cash a mens ring and necklace and all the 18th cups and bits and pieces they get and he still has his party on his fathers side of the family yet so OMG! i wish i had an 18th party when i was younger.

I've been mulling over the past day whether to come in and address the "judging" accusations that seem to be appearing.

I'm just going to say - all posts by Kate, Sammie and myself contained no judgement. They contained information. If we had said "gee whiz, you are feeding them solids at 2 months, wow thats so crap, you're a crap mother blah blah blah" - THAT is judgement.

We didn't call anyone a crap mother. We didn't say anything bout your decision to. I personally posted the reason WHY the guidelines are in place, just incase someone wasn't aware of the reason. To me, thats not judgemental, thats sharing information.

To me, BB just isn't about support, its about sharing information that you may not have learnt otherwise. I know for me, I parent my 4th child way different to my 1st child - because I've had BB women to teach me things, to challenge my way of thinking, to make me see if from another point of view not my own. It is not judgement to share information, and it saddens me that people in here feel judged because of others sharing information.

So maybe, instead of flinging crap at us about how we were "judging" people - maybe its the way the information was received by others, your reaction to it - not what we have been "assumed" in saying.

Any way, I'm not going to stay in a thread where any information I feel is necessary to be shared in relation to a topic is going to be classed as me judging, so I'm out too. FWIW, I don't judge people on their decisions on what they do with their child. I've fed my child early, done controlled crying, fed to a schedule, used every bloody thing that they say not to, and you know what - at the end of the day I live with my decision and thats fine. But if something changes and someone challenges me on a new way of thinking with my next child - I don't see it as judging, I see it as doing the best by my child with the information that is available to me at that exact time.

Thats enough babbling from me. Good luck to everyone with their babies - enjoy them because they are only little for such a small amount of time.

    Cheers and Beers!
    Mel xx

I didn't think anyone was judging, its nice to hear everyone's different ways of parenting. Life would be pretty boring if we were all the same!!

As far as the brissie DFO meet up goes. I am fine for any day in June that isn't a tuesday. Yep, We are moving away - all the way to Deniliquin so this will be my last chance to meet you lovely brissie ladies. I was quiet happy for the 20th, I just suggested changing it so Iona could join in if she wanted to. Totally fine to do what date suits most. It will prob be a bit hard to suit everyone. We'll have to decide soon though cause the month will be over before we know it.
