Jane I'm sure you are doing an awesome job hun. Babies are hard work! We use a dummy sometimes to settle Dylan to sleep then take it out and pop him in bed - he spits the dummy out at some point anyway so we don't try keeping it in while he sleeps. Have you tried things like Infants Friend? Helps with wind pain and colic. Also not saying this could be it but maybe look at reflux symptoms just to cross that off the list? I thought Dylan was just a non-sleeper that was super unsettled but turns out he has silent reflux

Bellany you are superwoman!! I'm struggling with one bub and a toddler, still yet to go "out" with them both!

Kass that's great that you're getting six hour blocks! My 2.5 year old has started fighting naps too - she only does 1.5 hrs but she doesn't cope if she skips it so I'm persisting with it! I've found shifting it from 1230pm to 1pm helped.

Well Dylan is still not sleeping much, 45 min naps during the day and rarely more than 2-2.5 hrs at night. Still a booby monster too, he's obsessed! I'm surviving but it's definitely tough. We are off to the clinic to weigh him shortly so will see if all the hard work is paying off!
I'm feeling much better in terms of recovering from my tears/epi. Still get sore if I'm on my feet too much but so much better now at 4.5 weeks than at 2 weeks! Am having major loss of wind control though, which is very embarrassing and I hope it's sorted soon. Apparently it can be related to a nerve that takes time to recover. 6 week check with OB next week so will see what he says...
