Gemini Girl - that sounds very painful for poor Bree. I found my daughter was reacting to the wipes I was using, even though I had picked the sensitive skin ones. I found using a wet washer and applying lanolin helped. I hope it isn't anything sinister and it clears up quickly for her. (did it get worse as she was teething? my son's bottom used to get very red when teething)
Amelia is sitting in the 10th percentile now after being born in the 75th percentile. I would be concerned if it was only her weight putting her there, but all three measurements (weight, height, and head circ) are on par with the line. She does have some short genes in her bloodlines, including a dad at 5 foot 6, a nanna at 4 foot 10, and a great nanna at 4 foot 9. She looks like she has daddy's legs, so a short little munchkin is what I have.
Milly this morning was showing me she can now sit with no hands, a new trick she mastered yesterday. She was sitting in her cot this morning peeking at me over the rails, and as I came in to get her she was trying to pull herself up to stand. My son was an early walker (8 months) and I think Milly is maybe going to be earlier. We will have to wait and see. I haven't done anything to encourage her other then lots of tummy time (including sleeping), she is just the next bub in a long family line of early walkers.
We are still breastfeeding, an even though I have returned to full time work, we have comfortably fit in a routine of EBM and breast. I have found she feeds alot at night now to make up for the lost time during the day, which sometimes makes me quite tired, but not to bad.
I'm impressed GG that you have your Christmas tree up. I've been debating when to set ours up. We have a train set that runs around under the tree, which my son loves, and we quietly hate the music it plays. So I'm not sure if I want to listen to it for a month, or maybe just a week. And like Bree, I think it will be a glowing beacon for mischief with Amelia.
I'm looking forward to all the Christmas cooking coming up, and was thinking I might start making the rum balls today. My son Noah helps me with rolling them in coconut; which makes for some special one on one time with him.
Anyway I must run. the overloaded cloths hamper is calling me against my will....
