    Hi girls....

Sorry I have been absent lately....still reading though. Just dont seem to have 5 minutes to myself and I feel like I'm going insane. Abbey is really clingy at the moment and only wants me, we have a new puppy (just what I need! Thanks Simon!) and JD is being the usual except worse cause of the dog!

Telly - Our chickens lay one egg a day each unless one is clucky or something....they are a pain in the butt. They have free run of the yard so if I sit Abbey down on the grass with a biscuit I have to keep shooing them away from her cause they'll try and peck it out of her hand. They even take the dogs on for their food and usually win. They are very painful and I cant stand them most of the time!!! Lucky Simon does everything most of the time so I dont have to deal with them too much!!!

Natty - Hope V had a good day, I'm sure she'll be fine. I bawled when I first left JD and sometimes I still get upset if he's upset when I go and he's not even a baby anymore!!! The girls would have loved her!!

Bec - I hope Luke is on the mend. Poor fella, sounds like he's had a rough trot!

Kymmy - I hope you are going OK and are on the mend as well. xoxo

Alison - Love the latest pics of Amelia and your Donnybrook house and valley looks very picturesque!! Nice getaway for you to go to!

Mon - Saw Eclipse on Fri night and loved it! I havent read the books and didnt really think too much of the first 2 films, but this one was good - had a bit of humour in it and wasnt so dark so I really enjoyed it! Dont know who's team I'm on though!! Jacob is very very hot, but there's something about Edward.....

Hi to Alicia, Mel and anyone else I have forgotten!!!

Crap sleeping, clingy baby, running out of finger food ideas and freezing our butts off here! Dont think Abbey is ever going to crawl. All she wants to do is sit or have me hold her while she's standing.....even then she's not happy and just whinges. Clapping her hands constantly too (like Amelia!) and thinks she's pretty good. I think she's saying mum mum mum a bit but mainly when she's crying (which is quite alot at the moment!!). Even if Simon is holding her she still whinges and if I leave the room she's losing it! I dont know what else to feed her for snacks. I think she's getting sick of cruskits, milk arrowroots etc and fruit's really messy when were out so what else can I give her?? She's pretty much having what we have at dinner and I think she gets a fair bit down. Always has yogurt for dessert....and rice cereal or weet bix for breaky.....

Gotta go start tea - hope you're all well!!

I'm here! Been down at the farm this weekend so haven't been on. How did V go at Daycare Natty? I reckon I'd spend all day missing Amelia too but you'll get used to it. She'll have fun with the other kiddies. How is everyone? Kymmy, that doc sounds like a twit, are you feeling ok though?

Hi to everyone else, Amelia is demanding my attention more and more each day so it's getting harder to get on, I spent too much time on BB and FB and the housework is piling up lol! Love you all. xx

Hi Madame - yuk that's what went around our house a couple of months ago, Amelia was sick for a week with the runs, god it was awful seeing her so ill, then I got it then DH. Hope everyone is well again soon. Yay to Harper for crawling, how impressive! Amelia is nowhere near crawling yet, she's only just sitting up on her own in the last couple of days! It's funny though as friends were telling me today that their bubs can't clap hands so what one bub does the other doesn't I guess. I'm not worried, I'm quite happy for her to take her time, chasing her around while she rolls is bad enough lol. Oooh and you're trying too? Wow you are still young, do you want more than 3 kids or you just want to get them out of the way early ha ha. We'll start trying again end of year - even though I'm nervous. I love Millie so much I can't imagine sharing her! She IS my baby! My cousin who's an OB told me she's just got a BFP on Saturday, I'm the only one who knows, she's been married before to an idiot and got divorced after 2 years and has been seeing a guy for a year now after being on her own for a few years. She's 36 so will be the same age as I was when I had Amelia, I'm really pleased everything is working out for her - she has worked so much to get where she is I'm surprised she has time for kids as she's going "private" next year but she said she's going to go into fertility instead, it's more 9-5 so allows her to be at home more rather than on call 24 hours a day. Anyway, that's my news, not much else happening atm! xx

    Just quickly, on my phone

Archie just got himself out of his bumbo, while it was on the BENCH!! OMG he was dangling off the edge when I bolted over and grabbed him! He couldve fallen straight onto the slate! Worst mother award goes to me. I feel traumatized.. So was he, poor lil man.
I guess that's why they put the warning on the side then. He has never even tried to get out of it before, so all of you with bumbos please be extra careful.

Sorry no persies, can't remember what was written. I'll try to log back on tonight for a major persies post.

Feeling alot better both physically and emotionally.

OMG Kymmy that must have given you a temporary heart attack! I have stopped using Amelia's bumbo because she has started trying to get out of it as well - if I do it's on the floor only, which defeats the purpose as I used to use it on the bench like you, it's highchair or floor for her now! Glad you're feeling better lovely. xx

Hey girls am I sad for already thinking about a theme for Amelia's 1st birthday? I am tossing up between Waybuloo and Hello Kitty - Hello Kitty is pink and girlie and she has a few Hello Kitty things but Waybuloo she absolutely loves. Whenever the cartoon comes on she stops what she's doing and stares and now she's laughing, smiling, cooing and clapping her hands when it comes on. I found a shop in the UK on Ebay that sells themed party packages, matching cups, plates, serviettes, balloons, lolly bags etc........hmmmm I feel an expense coming on! Perhaps I have too much time on my hands....hang on, perhaps I should be doing the housework instead of thinking of her birthday which is still 5 months away lol!

    everyone!

Argh, i just typed up a reply and than my computer froze. grr!

Kymmy, i've never told anyone this.. so feel honored, haha. When dd was 6 months old I placed her on the kitchen bench while i put some rubbish in the bin. She wriggled around and fell off of it, and I caught her JUST before she went splat. I was soo horrified. I cried and vomited. I still feel sick when I think of it. Ever since i've been super vigilant with kids on elevated surfaced. I don't trust high chairs, bumbos, anything like that. I always like to be within reach. So maybe we could share the title of mother of the year?? haha. don't worry too much about it

ali - omg no offence but i can't stand that show!! hahaha! That one and 64 zoo lane. Argh, so irritating! hahah! Oh and Zigby!!!! All of them remind me of morning sickness. so naturally i'm not that fond.

sarah - that is soo exciting that you guys are trying for bubby number three!! Yippee!!! Can't wait to hear your posts, haha. Im still in two minds about a third. Who knows what the future holds. But if we do have a third, will have to be before i'm 30, i've always wanted to have my family while young. So still got forever to decide anyway. I'm not even 25 yet! hehe!

shayna - theo is getting sick of the same ol same ol foods too. today i gave him a slice of bread with vegemite for lunch. he didn't really eat much of it. Dinner i'll try giving him some lasagna, if i get around to making it!

AFM - Took DD to the Dora concert on the weekend while mum looked after theo. DH was suppose to look after him, but he was so hungover it was ridiculous. He passed out in dds bed (she was in my bed), and got up vomiting, but couldn't make it to the toilet in time. So he spewed in her wooden block thingo (you know the thing you push, that holds wooden blocks??). I was LIVID!!! So i spent the remainder of the weekend ****ing him off. Including at $250 shopping spree on clothes for DD. hehe! (OMG ladies... Target girl clothes atm are just ADORABLE! A definate must!)

    anyway, hope you're all well

ha ha Telly no offence taken, I think they're cutie pies......my pet hates are Dora (although I'm slowly coming around), the Wiggles and most of all that Night Garden or whatever it's called, those things are just too freaky for me! Re DH, OMG I would've kicked his butt to Timbuktoo, yuk! I hope he was embarrassed and go you for the shopping spree, personally I'd still be shopping if it was me lol. I had a quick scan in Target yesterday actually, I did get a cute little red and white spotty dress for Summer, am I right in getting 1's for summer? Amelia's just going into 0's now so I assume 1's will be fine for summer. I have no idea how much more they grow from now until then!

Also, Amelia won't eat any packaged foods, not even Rafferty's - except their breakfast rice cereals and multigrains etc which she loves. Any of their pouched liquid foods and even the smoothies she spits out and shuts her mouth. I think it's because they're too sweet, they do put apple in everything and it was very sweet even for me! Anyway, I'm not complaining but just thought it was interesting as all the mums group mums feed mainly those rather than cook the food. Today I'm trying a recipe one of my pregnancy aqua friends gave me, it's a minced meat one with tomatos and onion etc......quite daring for me as I've just been doing vegies but I'll give it a go, if anyone wants the recipe let me know. She gave me a chicken one and fish one too which I'll try. I tried chicken last week and she wasn't interested but this recipe looks like it has flavour so will give it another go.

Oh good! I'm not the only one!!

Poor feo!! Don't worry too much, brit used to get temps of 41 ALL the time (for no obvious reason) and she HATED panadol so kept spitting it out whenever we tried to give it to her! I was so worried but she never convulsed!! In American Indian cultures they actually wrap their kids in fur when they have temps as it helps to fight infection.

I've been thinking about archie's birthday too Ali, so you're not the only one with too much time on yr hands!!

In laws are here, wish they would bugger off so I can do a proper post! I'm in my room feeding Archie right now!
