Tragedy!! The company aren't paying relocation! Cheapest quote so far is $7k and that isn't even including petrol, ferry, accommodation etc to get us and the two cars down there! Looking at somewhere close to the 10k mark. For someone too cheap to pay the extra dollar at the supermarket if something isn't on special it is painful. It actually hurts!! Frantically hunting the web for backloads/hire trucks/some way that won't cost a small fortune. It was cheaper to move from Australia!!

And we have been looking at houses to buy and I can already see that any alterations that I want to do are going to get trumped by what FIL thinks is better. Sigh.

How did the meeting go Cass? Was the little school not a viable option?
