DDB - Glad that A is sleeping so well for you and that she recovered from her needles quickly.
Mum2c's - I'm sorry that you're not enjoying motherhood as much this time around. It sounds like you're dealing with a lot of issues, which would be making it hard.
I'm also with the other ladies, in that I don't think you can overfeed a breastfed baby. And if C is a comfort feeder, that would certainly explain her weight. Dummy wise, DD refused a dummy at first. We used a normal sized newborn dummy and she wouldn't take it. No way, no how. She was screaming one day when I was in the toilet and DS popped his dummy into her mouth and she latched right on, so we use his size (12-18 months I think it is) on her and she sucks away, try giving her a smaller one though and not going to happen.
chrispe - wow a 16+ kilo 2 year old is pretty good to start with, add that that prem and WOW
and it sounds like K is growing well too.
Pholi - I hope you find a lactation cookie recipe that you like which isn't as fatening. That's great that T is into 000's. I know what you mean about it being a shame them not getting to wear some clothes. As A was nearly 4kg when she was born she never wore 0000's at all and pretty much all the gift clothes people had given us were 0000's. I feel really bad that she'll never get to wear them. I tried to squeeze her into a couple the first week, but that just didn't work.
Lady N - wow J is long it sounds like he's groing really well too which is great. How did your appointment with the CHN go?
Shadow - had to have a chuckle that miss A was fine sitting on her own in the bath support until she figured out it wasn't you holding her.
Miss D - I can't actually see far enough back to see your post....so I'll wing it. That's great that the paed thought miss A was so alert. I'm like you, I talk to my littlies all the time about anything and everything. It's funny now too cause DS comes out with some of the strangest things to people. Apparenlty he had a go (kind of) at one of the day care carers because they'd done a new wall mural and she'd put a dolphin in with the fish, and he informed her that a dopin is not a fishy, it's a mammal that kickings (how he refers to swimming) in the wayer.

AFU - I'm sick as. have been vomiting all day. No fun. I think I caught it from DS because he was really sick sunday and monday.
In other non sick news A has cradle cap. DS had it as well when he was little. I'm battling it with a combination of coconut oil and a paste of baking soda and water.
And poor DH is feeling a bit sad and sorry for himself. As both of us only ever wanted to have two kids he went in for the snip last Wed. And in the doctors own words he had bullriders balls (he actually was a bullrider when he was younger). The protective covering of his vas was extremely over developed and thick, and it made the op a lot more difficult and longer then it should have been, and it also caused him to have a lot more bruising then a normal vasectomy, so he's been hobbling around feeling very sore for the past week. I also freaked him out by actually watching the doctor perform it. One of my things...I've always been fascinated with watching surgery....which DH knows, so it shouldn't have surprised him that I watched....AND the doctor encourages the wifes/partners to be present for moral support. I just never had the opportunity to watch him get operated on...stitched on numerous occasions, but not operated on. Apparently all my questions made him uneasy though and he had to ask me politely to shut up halfway through
Wow. Nearly forgot. Can't beleive that I nearly forgot either. A is rolling! from her back to her belly. Leave it to me to have oddball children. LOL. DS started rolling from belly to back at 3 1/2 weeks, which is just stupid, ridiculous early. And now A is rolling early too, but from back to belly. They usually roll belly to back first. But it also means that she freaks me out on a regular basis because she prefers to sleep on her belly, so is constantly rolling over from back to belly to sleep and I'm now awake half the night petrified that she'll stop breathing because she can't roll back if she gets into difficulty
