Hope - I can't help not respond to you about the BF/EBM/FF issue. You have done a fabulous job, expressing is hard enough let alone having twins. I know what you mean about people getting funny about EBM. I've had that too, but most people now respect it as I have been doing it for so long and when they hear about how much I've tried with BF. I also had similar comments about the nipple shield...it's not breast feeding (my thought is #$*& off ((sorry ladies)) the baby is on the breast ). I have different people in my family who comment on I should be moving to FF given the troubles and others that think I should persist with the breast. I can't get it right for everyone. I think few understand the EBM method. If you want to continue with EBM it can help to try and make things as efficient as you can with the type of pump, being able to double pump hands free and feed a baby a bottle at the same time...I picked this up from one LC and has made my life so much easier. I completely understand and would respect your decision to move onto FF. I might be there myself soon.
Kitty - I would be doing the naughty foods too. I did before my GDD test because I was convinced that I had it as I had a few symptoms of it.
AFM; seeing the osteo today..yay! On a funny note we had dinner with an in-law and her kids a couple of nights ago. I had DS at the breast and the 4yo said what is DS doing. I replied having a drink. The 4yo said 'well where is his drink bottle then'. As a first time mum was not sure what to say
DS is 6 weeks old today...happy week birthday bubba. I love him so much. Apparently things are supposed to be better after 6 weeks...well we will see.
