just checking out the list lol i thought jamie was big when he was born but it looks like he was one of the smaller ones but now i think he's getting to be big almost tiring to carry which i suppose is good

in other news in light of bub wetting through nappies i have invested in a maz nappy cover for him to wear at night i love her stuff even have a pair of her breast pads which were awesome till i stopped breastfeeding just waiting for it to come in the mail would never even thought of it if it wasnt for BB wat would we do without BB?????

niadla: i wish j slept for that long the most ive ever got is 5 hours except for whe nhe first came home those first days of long sleep are a distant memory we get some longer sleeps soon

just trying to come up with a plan for him to actually sleep in his bassinet not in the bed with mummy and daddy so we can have some alone time IYKWIM

Hey ladies, got room for one more.......
Will do my best to catch up with everyone in the next few days.

DH and I had our much anticipated baby boy Aaron on the 22nd May.
This is our first child and is a result of a second time lucky IVF cycle.

Everything is going well so far, although I have mastitis but the meds are finally fixing things.
One question I do have is in the last 2 days Aaron has started to get baby acne under his eyes and near his cheeks. Also noticed that since this time he has had a couple of really runny No2?? I have no idea if the two are linked together but am seeing the clinic on Thursday.

Anyway must try and get a few Zzzzz while the little one is down.

OMG, have had mastitis!! been in bed with shivers and sweating, thought i was going to die yesterday. worse than CS pain! boobs are soooooo sore and hard and heavy. but we are on the mend, redness is gone and she is feeding better. she gets wind pain at night and then munches and it sparked mastitis. just like it did with Q.

damn, she wants to feed AGAIN!!!
cant type with 1 hand will come back later.

Welcome Nicole!! We certainly have room for one more! Congrats on the birth of Aaron, looks like you had a long journey to have your little boy - how wonderful to welcome him to the world!!

Re the acne, I think most ppl refer to them as 'milk spots' and they are really common - infact our midwife told us not to schedule any pics around 4-6 weeks as they look shocking at this time, so it may get a little worse, but they will go away - Bailey is 7.5 weeks now and they are pretty much gone.
The runny poo is normal too (not related to the acne) - is Aaron BF? Baileys poo's are usually runny or really soft (and gooey so to speak), but definately run all your questions past your MW on Thurs, it will no doubt give you some piece of mind

On the poo front, Bailey is no longer pooing every feed, now its more every 2-3 feeds and they are massive (and messy) when he does, not sure what I prefer, big but less frequent or tidier little parcels LOL I always tell DH its his turn when I hear the 'explosion'

Right off to shower and get ready for the hair-dresser

niadla... OMG.... 8 hours?? i can't imagine that. our 6 year old doesn't even sleep that long!! LOL, ok, maybe he does now, but that has only just started! he used to wake up at 3am and want to watch cartoons thinking he was going to school soon. I am lucky to get 3 hours in a row with ralie now.
and as for the bed.... what bed? you can't see our bed there are so many of us in it!! LOL. DH is on the verge of setting up on the floor and leaving me with the kids! your lucky.

krystie... Q never used to burp either. and he had the most eratic feeding behaviour. i NEVER had a timetable or pattern with him until he was 18 months old. on the other hand Ralie burps well, and she farts and poos like a trooper!! it does sometimes cause her pain though and she gets a bit miserable. doesn't like the water either, where as Q Loved the water. still does. i have a little blow up bath for ralie, Q had one in london. now he is refusing to bath in the shower and insists on sitting in the blow up bath for AGES. LOL

naomi... i am lucky i get to stay home but we are poor. LOL 4 kids cost lots of money. TBH the money i would earn would all go in child care so it defeats the purpose we think. and its not for long. in a couple of years they won't all be so young and will be able to cope with part child care and school. we just sit tight financially for a bit. i spent all my time in london (when i was teaching) just cooking, cleaning, getting things ready for school, going to work, then shopping for the week, washing for the week... I NEVER got time to do anything with the kids! It was awful. at least if you are at work part-time you can take bub to playgroup or whatever and still have a balance. you don't have to go back till he is a year old too, and its hard to imagine cause he is so little. i left Q at 6 months and he couldn't sit up. but 2 weeks later he was able to sit up and i felt so much better about leaving him. the thought of him lying round helpless, crying and not able to move about used to make me cry and almost not able to go to work. if i had have been able to take the year it would have been much better. he wasn't even eating when i left him. at least by 1 they are eating as well as BF.

i am off now. its hot up here today. you all sound like you are down in victoria, (except i know cathy is just down the road). i am back in my summer clothes. love it love it love it!!! hate winter.
