MD, I am sorry to hear of your loss. I know even living away and not seeing them very often it still stings when they are gone.
My Nana hasn't been gone a year yet and her house has been removed so they can build a block of flats on the section. I couldn't bear to drive past and see the corner empty - she lived in that house for nearly 80 years!

Cally, good luck! K and your niece are lucky to have each other so close in age, that will be very cool for them as they grow up.

Trill, Kev is 18th June. So looking forward to it - mostly a whole night in a bed by myself with a sleep in!

Ginger, sleep improved but not the magic cure I was hoping for. At least I have a back up if things turn to custard while DH is away.

DH's 30th birthday tomorrow so the kids made a pinata for him. I don't usually do crazy messy activities - took forever to clean up! Not sure if it will work, trying to dry it in front of the fire tonight.
