I am so happy to be able to announce that at 8.45 this morning Starangelk's brand new little girl

Xanthe Idamay

arrived safe and sound. Everyone doing well.

And Starangelk wrote this today:

Thank you everyone for your lovely messages. Xanthe is such a precious gift and we are incredibly grateful. She is doing super well and bf is coming along too. Will be home on Sunday and will post our whole story in my blog then. Xx

Pam: Our girls are the same weight... I heaer you on the chubby bits. How fast she has grown.
It sound like it would be best tot take that kidney out, esp seem the cist are so big in such a little body... God her little kideny has only got to be 5-7cm so how a 5cm cist can be on it would be scary. Next time you see specailiest just ask them for me how big her kidney is now.
I also hear you on in and out of the car all day. Sometime it's 3-5 times a day which I hate, 'cos I have to put her in her capsule then back into bed then out again etc. and it disturbes her sleep. So thank god I live across from the school, and I only have to put her in her coocon then lift her in pram (P&T). She sleep most of the time in her pram which is great but as soon as it stops she is awake withing minutes of it.

BG: Oh that s*ck that DS1 is having issues sleeping without you to help him, and LOL that you fall asleep with him and DH not waking you up. Mine wouldn't wake me either so it must be a guy thing. We are around to move DS2 into a bed, he is at the point where he wake up and climbs out of the cot, so I want to do it before little miss has to move over. Though I really hope I don't end up sleeping in his bed with him when he moves over. I will make DH do it.


Well as usually little miss only woke up once (maybe twice sum times) @ 2am than she wanted to wake up and talk/play @ 5am so that is when my day started... However I have already put her back down awake and she is out. I have folding some washing up and about to put another load of towel in the wash while I clean up the kitchen from last night. I know I was too lazy to do it.

Yesterday we went for a 6km walk to grannies house DS1 rode his bike all the there without any winging then rode the 6km back home. Granted we stopped off to watch the excavator's and pole hole driver work at the new bridge site then walked out bums home. So was buggered yesterday. What to do for today am not totally sure but we still have a week and a bit to go of school holidays so I want to either get kids out side or go do something with them. I might do some cooking with them today we'll see how we go.

Well I better get started before little miss wakes up.

Well today so far, I have completely cleaned out boys room, moving beds, draws etc to vacuum under. Also did the whole it's time to clean out the toy boxes, also to get rid of a an extra toy box which we didn't need. But throw a heap out only kept the together or non-broken stuff. Have doine all the washing so after dinner I might fold it or 2morro morning. Have done DD room, and moived her bed up to the other wall, as she will get her bunk back.
Granted what warrent this big clean out was I brought the boys bunk bed's and DH will pick them up 2morro. I can't wait, I wanted them today but at least it is clean and I just have to grab toy boxes out of the way.
LIttle miss has been asleep since 1pm and is still asleep. I need to wake her up so she can have a play, free pants and a chat before she head off for a bath about 6:30pm back in bed by 7pm. She has been wonderful the last 3-4 days. (touch wood) Granted the I have the music up load this afternoon, so she couldn't hear the DS's fighting.

So now I am off to shop to get a BBQ chicken for home made little pizza's. 2morro we are all going to farm to cut/get some more wood. So a family-ish day. It will be little Miss's time coming to get wood so it will be interesting.

Well I better go, DH will be home soon so I better get ready to head out as soon as he walk through the door so I don't have to take the children with me. I forgot how qucik you can get in and out with out them, oh, and cheaper too most of the time.

Hi girls I posted the other day and its not there now?? anyone else having issues like that??? it was about imms and some personals it appeared but is'nt there now????? Try again..Tilly is sleeping in my big bed I think I will have to wake her she thinks she is asleep for the night..Poppy is asleep and has been for a couple of hours and i should have gone to bed as well!!!! Always the way.

Kate I am only getting a few imms done one lot then will wait a few weeks to get the rest done..I won't delay until 18 months especially witjh the other kids too many chances to get sick, and DS has had a stint in Royal Childrens not good.
Sarah you are right I have been super busy Tilly eneded up with a chest infection and was sick for a few weeks, but is good now...you do too much woman... no wonder you feel down, although sometimes you have to do things like that to feel good anyway..
I cleaned out all Tilly's size NB and some 000's she si starting to go into 00's in jumpsuits etc, she has really long legs and arms and big feet like my 5year old DD going to be a super model???? She is 59cms what are your bubs measureing at last weigh and measure..I have'nt looked on the chart to see where tht puts her??

Hi everyone,

I haven't posted in ages because it's been so hard to get on here. Angus had a few unsettled days and I used to think I had to interact with him all the time during his playtime, but now I am just letting him entertain himself. Oh and we are moving in two weeks time - down to freezing cold Canberra

Blackduckies - Angus has a long body, but short legs, so I think most of his 000 pants will be a bit too long for him, but he has just moved into the 000. I can't remember his height, but at 6 wks it was just under the 50th percentile, but his weight was in the 75th percentile. Last time we weighed him 2 wks ago, he was 5.8kg!

Wow Sarah, it sounds like you are getting so much done! I'm definately not that organised, although I did vacuum all the floors and get a couple loads of washing. I just get distracted so easily!

Anyway, we're going to my Mum's house for dinner and DH has just come home from the gym, so I guess I should go and get ready myself. Although, I could really do with a nap right now.

Oh, and can I just say, I love the age Angus is at right now. He has just started cooing a lot and smiles all the time. He is started to grasp objects in front of him and loves checking himself out in the mirror!

Nat: I know what you mean about this age, I love it. I don't want her to go past the 4 months, other wise she will never be a baby again. Even though she is no.4 she still get my attention and it's the others which have to wait there turn now, or wait until she is on boobie.

I don't go to the CHN so I wont know last weight from her 6weeks imm. She is stretching out of her 000 clothes too. Some still fit some and other are to small... Gee, all your babies are having there imm late. with last 3 kids they all had then at 8w now they do them at 6w here in tassie, not sure why, but little miss was really good after them.

Pam: I hear you on the cold issue, DS1 brought it home twice from kindy and has given it to both me and her both times as well. Granted mine is only a runny noise, and sore throat so I am guessing little Miss is the same.
I had the issues of posting long big rants then they wouldn't post. Only since they have upgraded the site. So now I just do quick reply and it all post... and I haven't had that issue in a while.
You know the saying "if I don't do it who will" or "if I don't do it, it wont get done". But it is done now, and the only thing now is I have to put a heap of this back up in the roof, like rocker bed, rail, cot, and boy of small clothes. Granted I might leave the box out as its easy to throw too small clothes into it when it doesn't fit.
Well yesterday we went to get wood. I was so greatful to get out of the house and be active, DS's ran around fell in cow poo etc. Little miss was good left her in car to begin with not sure how she would handle chain-saw noise but see was fine so I sat her in her capsule near the truck to load wood, she was fine for a good hr, before she wanted to get out and sticky beak (girls...)
Today have been trying to get up to day with all book work for DH and a few buiilder's I do book work for, and I only have 1 to finish off 2morro then sent out all the cheques and I am done, for another month...
Gee we are very materialist people, when it comes to that we must keep up with the Jones... And you know what it's not going to make us happy. I am shock the amount of money people will waste to get that extra reno done by a builder who charge nearly 80% extra then what it cost to do the job... Hence why our own kitchen reno has taken nearly 2 years to finish. We only have the plaster corners to get done and it's FINISHED... Then we move onto the bath room, for the next 6 years.
Anyway DS2 just come in with sauce all over his face so I better get going, 'cos I know little miss might wake up soon, for a quick feed.
P.S. DS2 went into his big boy bed last night, and only came out once, and today for his day nap only came out once as well, so I was wrapped...

Omg this is giving me the irrits........I have made a few posts but they won't show up...won't let me log in etc......
I am reading and catching up with everyone! Amaya is sleeping from about 8.30pm till 3am then up at 7am then napping and feeding every 3 hours during the day. She goes for immunisation next friday!

Ok I think that last post worked!!!!
I am so busy during the day trying to entertain DS who turns 2 this friday and feed and play with Amaya, get dinner ready, do the washing, vacum etc that my day is just gone..then I jump into bed by 10.30pm at the latest so I get a full 5 hours sleep! We got a new mattress for our bed last friday so I am in heaven and it has helped my sore back immensley!!!!
I am up later tonight because I wanted to touch base with you girls!!!!!
We are breastfeeding and she has put on a good amount of weight..we had or 8week check up today..4.75kg and 56cm long. So she is a petite lil doll but in the 50th percentile for her weight so I am happy with that!!
Anyway got a busy weekend with the boys birthday party and its the long weekend so hubby is home for an extra day...yippee

Leesha: sound like Amaya is doing wonderfully... My days are pretty much the same with clenaing, feeding, vacuuming etc. I am over that esp as it's school holidays time so the house is trashed until around 3-4pm when I make them all get in and clean it up.
Wow, 10:30pm in bed, gee I would die on 5 hr sleep. DH and I are both in bed by 7:30-8pm and me esp asleep shortly after I turn onto my tummy. I am so loving being about to sleep on my tummy again. YOu much be stuffed by the time you climb in?

Posting issues I had a heap of trouble esp since the change over, and it wouldn't let me log in, so I would have to rest my password about 4 times and this time I can get in and look around and post in other threads. Not a huge fan of the update....

Kate how are things? How was your last mothers group??

Pam: That is no good about kids being sick... It's even worse when bub's gets sick or us 'cos there isn't much we can take to fix the problem esp when BF. Are you still comping Tilly feeds?

Things here still the same, Little Miss growning lot is not in mostly 00 which is so sad. She is hugh already and is only 3 months old. I could cry I want the little baby I brought home from hospital...
Other kids have FINALLY gone back to school... I hate holidays...

Anyway I better go I have been up since 5:30am DS1 has been climbing into out bed early in the morning 'cos of bad dreams.

I'm here too, just v rarely get long enough on computer to post. O is doing really well, down to just one o'night feed, so I think he's a champion, as DS1 took about 15 months to reach that milestone. Lots of smiles & gurgles which just makes me love him more, iykwim. Although no longer newborn, and we're also into mostly 00 stuff , I wish I had a baby pause button.

Pam - sucks that you guys are all sick again, there's some nasty viruses going round at this winter it seems. Hopefully you get through the worst of it quickly, maybe school holidays will help a bit. and roll on spring too - this winter weather is depressing.

and time is up again.....don't know how you mums with more than 2 manage - so much respect & admiration for you!

Has anybody else got AF back? Postnatally i bled for 6 weeks, I am breastfeeding 27 times a day (probably not that much but it feels like it lately) and bub is only 10 weeks today and it looks like i have AF.. WTF? that's only 4 weeks off. this sucks

kate: After little miss was born my AF lasted 9 days, then stopped, and then got a really light AF on the 20th of last month so am expecting them anytime soon now. It normally takes my body about 4-5 months to go back to normal. However we have DTD without protection but I don't feel preg, and I know they tell us BF is not a form of proctection, yet I never got preg when I was BF others, so I doubt it, AF should appear this week sometime. I am booked into get the IED wacked in on the 5th of July so I can't wait for that...

BG: I know what you mean about the PAUSE button. You think with how far we have come in history we would have found something... They only way I can think of it not feed them. But that is just mean, andLM would cry and I would give her boobie just for the quite. Not sure how mother's cope in 3rd world countries etc... thinking about the makes me sad.

I only find it harder when they are closer together. There is 6y8m between DD1 and DS1 & 2y7m between DS1 & DS2 and there is just under 2y between DS2 and LM. It gets full on at times, but I am managing much better with her and other kids since she has learnt to 'self sooth' her self. We don't have long cry times now, it down to a few call out then she just looks around her bed, and sum times talks to her self.
WE are also at the talking stage. She is only 3m and could talk the hind legs off a mule. She loves her play mate and talker to her toys then bashes them... But loves to talk alot esp with DD1. They boys annoy her, which I find funny...

GUESS WHAT EVERYONE... Today the cornus plaster goes up in kitchen and office... They wil be FINALLY finished. unless I have to paint then by the end of the week. It has taken 2y for kitchen and 4y for office... It was just finding someone to dit as DH would mess it up and I want it a 'nice' finshed job...

Well I better go I have to move eveyrthing out of kitchen so I better go. I hope you are all keeping well...

Kate - that sucks if it's AF back already, especially when the BFing is so intensive. For me, having a few months off is one of the bonuses of going through the whole pg thingie, and having your body taken over by other little peoples - so fingers crossed you're just seeing a slight aberration, and not a reappearance already.

Sarah - that's great that Kendall is settling well for you these days. And how cute is the talking - we don't get a lot of it, but we do have our moments. And we're playing the "if you stick your tongue out, then I'll do it too" game, which is adorable. I have to say that I am just loving this baby stage again, thought I might have been past it, but apparently not. It helps that O is a good sleeper overnight, and generally an easy baby, as long as he doesn't have a sore tummy.

Anyone know anything about pneumonia? - my nephew is in hospital with it, we spent a few hours with them last Thursday, when he was already a bit sick - I'm hoping that it's not overly contagious .
