ok- back...Jack is one sad little man today- no temperature, but got the sniffles and snuffles and isn't very happy at all!!

BR- 260gms!! YAY! That's great news!

I don't know about these percentile charts- i think it's all 'normal' if your bub is eating and weeing and pooing and growing bit by bit, isn't it all normal??? Having said that, we get ALOT of comments on how big Jack is and I've had a few people say I must be over feeding him- I didn't think you could overfeed a BFed bubba, and he's not rolly polly at all, mostly tall as far as i can tell with an enormous head. Like you said Prama, nationality has to have something to do with it, and look at the parents! My husband is built like a brickhouse!

Loula I hope you're feeling ok about yourself- you need to give your body and mind time to heal...and if that means a few extra bikkies, then so be it. Seriously. I'm going by the 80/20 rule at the moment, and sometimes i take the 20/80 rule! As long as you're eating well 80% of the time, give yourself a break I'm not losing weight at the moment- i thought breastfeeding was meant to drop it off! LOL.

Elise! well done on Brody's 7 hours! I hope it continues for you!

Prama can you express a little if Githanjali sleeps longer? I often do if Jack is sleeping longer than my boobs expect him to... just enough to feel comfortable.

Well, not much from me- jack is sooky today and all i want to do is cuddle him. But then he doesn't get enough sleep and so he's even sookier! Bad mummy He's been down for almost 2 hours now, so hopefully he'll reset and be my smiling boy again

    Hello everyone

Geez, I wasn't getting any alerts and just figured everyone is busy... um, NO! You guys are busy typing stuff and I didn't know I have been pretty busy, so haven't thought to check in for a while. But I see everyone is doing fairly well.

Loula I have been feeling the same, I am wearing 2 things, and one is a dress, and then black pants, I really want to fit back into my old stuff. I am not losing any weight now either, and like you, I had an eating disorder a long time ago, and I don't want to go back that way. I need to pull my finger out and just make an effort to eat healthier and exercise, but I just can't be stuffed right now.

Well, its raining here today, so I can't go for my walk, so I am sitting here watching TV being quite lazy!! Molly is awake now, just laying on her activity mat, so I should really join her for a play. I hope everyone is doing well, and I will try to get on a bit more..

krystals - the problem with G sleeping longer is I still have to wake up in the middle of the night to express, which is what i want to avoid.. LOL. she needs to feed very long at night, about an hour or more, as she gets sleepy then not empty my breasts completely. sometimes only taking one side. so now, dh gives her a bottle while I express and in 30mins we are back in bed. she wakes up about 2am, we do it then. her next feed is 5.30ish 6, so it's almost wake up time and she feeds better.
hope jack's not sooky any more!

LMK - LOL, your chubby vibes are all going to my belly and hips. aahhaahah. Lakshman tends to poke my jelly belly and laugh, he thinks it's hilarious. but he doesnt understand.

    mel - welcome back xoxox

Hi girls haven't posted for a while, I ended up with food poisoning, so not a good week. My supply has dropped again after not eating and I think Will needs more Zantac as it's not working so well.

Hope everyone else had a good weekend, can't believe it's Wednesday already!

How's everyone going? I've just put Jack down for a sleep- he's not too happy about it at the moment, but he's so tired, he had a biiiiiig sleep last night and has been awake for a couple of hours now.

I've had a thought going round and round my head for about a week now and I just thought I'd ask you guys- is there anyone in your life who you thought would be more interested in you and your new bubba? It's been a bit surprising for me that some people who I've hardly keep in contact with have been super excited and Jack has been a kind of gateway to re-open relationships with them! But then two very important people in my life, although they haven't dropped off the radar completely, haven't shown as much interest/support as I thought they might have. I know it's not jealousy or lifestyle related, it just seems that it must have been me putting in the effort, and I didn't realise it until I didn't have the time to put it in...if that makes sense. Now, I'm not wallowing, I swear, but it's been a bit of a reality check.

I'm a bit peeved at my brother who I thought would've met Jack by now. He lives in Qld, and we in NSW, but he hasn't even said "Oh, I would come down but x,y,z etc..." we're seeing them at Christmas, but jack will be 4 months old by then. I'd visited them and their new baby twice by that time. It's not a competition, but he made a huge deal of me not going to my neice's 1st birthday implying that she wasn't important enough to me- it was actually just that my doc had advised me against flying because of the bleed I'd had while pregnant, I'd bought a ticket and everything. I just wonder if that's why he hasn't thought of coming down, or maybe he just thinks Christmas, when we're all in Victoria is good enough... why is this even bothering me?

Maybe AF is going to appear or something! I'm not usually this analytical of people's behaviour!

Hello yummy mummies how are you all? Sorry I havent posted for a while, Brody has been very clingy and not really sleeping much through the day. He goes down to sleep ok but only stays asleep for about half hour so therefore very cranky boy. Aagh just as i say that hes awake and now relaxing in my arms.
Krystals i know exactly what you mean, i have a good friend who was very excited throughout the pregnancy and now doesnt make much effort at all, if i didnt text her to catch up it just wouldnt happen, its very dissapointing really.
Prama well done on getting all that housework done, i can only get all that done when brody is at MIL's
LMK good luck with the TT, hows it going?
BR hope your feeling better and your supply is increasing again
Melly how are you? i hope molly's her normal happy self
Loula how are you and your little man going? I hope your feeling better today

    Hi everyone!

Krystals i prefer people to leave me to it TBH, so im not fussed if people have relaxed off a little now that nuns is here, we are usually so busy out and about every day anyway and we have lots of people to share around! (DS grandchild 12 on DH side!) But i totally get what you are saying about people dropping off the radar! Hows all your appointments getting on?

Elise Sorry to hear Brody has been up and down with sleeps! and i thought you had cracked it at sleep school is DH home? i hope you are getting some time to have rest too and look after yourself as it is tiring when bubs is with you only 24/7.

BR thank you for coming over today! i hope you found your sunnies? and that the chiro was relaxing. were you sorting out DS meds for the reflux this afternoon? x

LMK! TT hey! one part of my job i enjoyed doing! such an achievement at the end! and such a milestone, but remember it wont work unless the child is ready! (hence why i get so ****ed at Kinders refusing children not TT!!!) GL and hope the weather is good for you

Prama mmmm noodles! we had some tonight! Its good to start to feel normal again and get bits of house work done when we can hey.

Melly! Hows Miss Moll today, ive been meaning to ask how the blended family is going? are the older children a help or hinder with Miss Molly?

AFU! well a nightmare with our carseat today as it is just not fitting well into our car, so after a barny with the company that fitted it i am hoping to get it re checked tomorrow. However i also noticed on the box that it came in that it only take up to 9kg rear facing and i really want DS to be 12 mths at lease before we turn him around. he is already over 6kg and not 3 mths yet so looks like I will be buying another one tomorrow any suggestions welcomed. Im thinking of keeping the one we have for a spare for DH car even though we have many acre seats within the family already!!

Otherwise we are good, we have the pead next week to get the results of DS brain scan and check up. DH birthday tomorrow and i planned on making a card with DS footprints as i feel so guilty i havent got them yet! and he has grown so much!!

we have his christening in two weeks also so need to look for something we both can wear

    catch ya soon!

Loula yep DH is home, well he has been since last thursday but away again tonight. It has been good to have an extra pair of hands thats for sure. Nope we didnt crack it at sleep school either but im not too worried, he has some days hell sleep really well and others very cranky. Hes having a big sleep this morning in his pram.
Sorry i cant help with the car seat dilemna but that is extremely annoying. Brody is still in his capsule and hopefully will be till 6 months and then we have a safe 'n' sound car seat to change over to. Hopefully you can find one that suits your needs

Krystals none of my friends have kids so yeah I find I am the one organizing the get togethers and I am hoping to meet more bb mums who I have more in common with. I am super busy with swimming lessons and stuff but I do miss contacts with adults. Sorry about your brother not being excited either, I can't wait for mine to have kids.

Elise glad dh has been home to help, makes it a little bit easier.

Was great to see you Loula, we will make it to lunch next time and the walk too. Found the sunnies in the capsule under Will, poor thing. Hope the car seat is fixed.

Took Will to the gp today, the reflux is really bad and he is refusing to bf at all. We are hoping it's just the reflux and once it's under control he will go back to normal. If not he has just decided bottles are easier after I was sick. He is on double the Zantac to try and settle him down again.

BR funny you say that about the reflux playing up (well not funy for will) but Brodys has been really bad the last couple of days too. He is just screaming when having his bottles and then spewing so much afterwards. Im hoping it has something to do with the change in teets on the bottles. He seemed to be getting frustrated coz he couldnt get the milk fast enough so i got bigger teets and he doesnt like them at all, WAY to fast. So im gonna go back to slower ones and hopefully that settles it down. Hopefully you can get wills under control too and possibly still BF

Yep Elise we thought it was all under control but he is almost back to square one, screaming, coughing and not sleeping.

I hope going back to the original teats helps Brody.

Oh no Loula not another one, i hope they all sort it out very soon.
Brodys Reflux has settled down again since i changed the teets, still quite spewy but not so much screaming now.
On saturday me and Brody went over to my dads house half an hour away and we went to the show. My sister and her little boy came too and we had a lovely day. All the noise and attractions and all must have completely wore him out because saturday night he slept for 8 1/2 hours!!! I couldnt believe it, it was lovely. He seems to be having one big sleep through the day now too, hes been asleep for nearly 3 hours so hopefully hell sleep tonight still
Hope you are all doing really well with your beautiful bubbas

    What a great sleep Brody!

Wow 8 boys Loula, it would have been cute to have a little premmie there, brings back memories of dd1 in her sling at the mothers group. She was always sleeping to start with but made up for it later on.

We had a big weekend, went to a maze on Saturday, Will did a monster poo, not much fun out and about and we were at a festival yesterday. Was happy with how Will coped he can be a bit grouchy but he was fine.

I think he has decided breastfeeding is not his thing, he is finally attempting to latch on again but he doesn't seem full so I am giving him as much ebm as I can as well as formula.
