Hey Beany, I thought the same - saying she would be happier to be home with me on odd days but they explained to me that if they have breaks in between attendance then they start every day as though they are being left after the weekend or after a long time so it is harder. And I noticed that Mondays are always clingier for Eva, so I think it is just a question of having the routine and not letting them get too used to being back with you all day in between days at DC.
Alison, I get scared too, I worry about the weight I will gain since I am starting out way higher for #2 than I did for the first...I will have a looong way to go to lose everything, but on the other hand I just want to get the pregnancies done and get my body back in order - I feel like I would have a harder time if I got thin again then got pregnant, gaining it all back...I had a great preg, just very tired, no sickness, but I got put on partial resting orders at the end of the 5th month so I also worry about that. I know that with preg#2 I must get a cerclage because I risk having it all open too fast (hence my super easy labor and birth)...so I think part of me just wants to do it since I worry that it will take longer to get a BFP with the PCOS, and I worry to have complications and god forbid if I do have a MC or something I want to space it close enough to go on to try again while there still won't be too much difference in age...
The handling two thing I don't worry about too much...DH is super helpful and I feel like once the two are old enough to get around they will entertain each other a lot as well. I also think dealing with #2 will be easier because of experience...If I get another reflux baby (I hope not!!!) I know I will not stress as much for the crying and will have more solutions etc...I won't stress as much for introducing solids, bf etc...So I think in that sense it will be much easier...I was just telling DH yesterday that I can't wait to feel our house with 2 kids! He said he could not imagine anything more than Eva, and I can't either but I know it will be great You just can't imagine anything more great than what you have !
