Olive - DD1 was like that and needed us to stay in with her but she slept all night. DD2 will self-settle but wake during the night occasionally and she wakes very early! She normally has a bottle before bed and will finish it in bed, chat to herself, play her musical aquarium and put herself to sleep. It can take anywhere from 2 to 20 minutes.
