Nat, I think you have to do what you want to do. Fraser has been trying to sit up by himself for about a month now. He's also in his Jumperoo a lot of the time (has been since we got him it about 2.5 months ago!) and screams when we try and lay him down, apart from at bed time. I feel that Fraser feels he is ready to sit up by himself.
Thanks for those who asked after us about our docs appointment. The doctor couldn't find what is wrong, but he agrees there def is something wrong as Fraser shouldn't be squealing all of the time. I took a urine sample (that was fun!) so just waiting on the results of that. It does still seem to be his tummy. He's still having very wet poos about 3 times a day and there are a lot of "rumbles in the jungle" all of the time. Poor bubba - just wish he could tell me what is wrong!
Teresa - how are you going with the car seat turned? I asked our CHN and she said not until Fraser was 8 kg, under any circumstances, and preferably not until 1 year. Fraser too tries to sit up. We bought him a Rainforest Mirror that plays tunes and has flashy lights, and that seems to keep him a bit more occupied. Also, we got some of those Rockabye Lullabies for the car - ABSOLUTELLY AWESOME!!!!!!!!! They are your fave songs done with chimes and it's great! Really calms the car journeys down!
