Sneaking in
Wow you poor ladies. I almost feel guilty as Peppar is fantastic.
She sleeps, she feeds, she plays talks and smiles to us, she grizzles and with a bit comfort goes back to bed.
Dont shoot me but she is sleeping from about 10pm till just after 4am and I even got a 5am yesterday morning. A quick 15min feed and its back to sleep till anywhere after 7am.
I certainly got lucky this time but it only took five times to get there!!
Now if I could get the toddler sorted life would be a piece of cake!
Scout is constantly sick at the moment and has missed so many daycare days its such a waste of money.
I am obviously a rare breed who chooses to keep their sick child home. I dont know why I bother as nobody else does! Raaahhhh I get him healthy and he comes home clogged up again.
I have just bought him some Blackmores daycare defence. Its supposed to help ward off bugs. Its a sachet you can mix in juice or milk or sprinkle on cereal so you dont have to try and get pills into them. Will let you know how it turns out
M2W We have an electric swing which Peppar loves. We hired it so I only have it for another few weeks but its a great baby sitter while I am trying to do dinner. She usually crashes out in it straight away.
We also have a hug a bub sling. This is awesome as well as you really are hands free and she is so supported in it. DH loves to wear her in this which is good for me as she cant smell me and think its feed time.
Shell we tried with the dummy too and she wouldnt have a bar of it.
Thrilled give your self a break hun this baby business is bloody hard going. But as others have said it doesnt last and the good will soon outweigh the bad and before you know it it is all a distant memory and you are wanting to do it again.
I already am hating the fact this is the last time I get to do this and I have 5 of them now! Im just a sucker for punishment I think.
Cass how clever are you? What style did you make?
QB I FF my first son and to look at him now a 13 yr old nearly 6ft tall lanky hairy lipped critter I certainly dont think he suffered for it.DO NOT feel guilty at all you have no reason too. Peppar was in hospital with high temperatures and then she got a cough cold so BF babies get their fair share of the germs too.
Jandals yay on the freezer. You were wanting one for a while. Now to find time for the all day cook up to fill it. Ours is empty again so I have to find the time too, difference been I have to buy a whole cow to fill up ours!!
Deedles hows Lennox? A baby is certainly so much harder with a toddler to entertain. I love and look forward to the daycare days too I just gotta get him healthy first.
Breesa how was your first day without DH? Im sure you coped brilliantly
Lou Ihope Sophie has recovered from her hospital visit. Peppar had to have two lumbar punctures as the first one was a bloody tap.(blood in the spinal fluid) She will never know let alone remember she had them but I am permantly scarred I think.
Woo hoo go me with the personals but im sure I have missed someone?Im sorry to you and I hope you are doing well and getting some rest when you can.
SQUID its Squidipa how are you and Chakotay getting on? I see he is putting on weight well so obviously you have the right recipe
Well I have reached the end of my mammouth post but if I can offer any advice from a - tried and made many mistakes but came out the other side ok, seasoned mother it would be relax. I know its very hard sometimes but this part will be all be a blur soon as the grow so fast and they dont stay babies for anywhere near long enough.
