    hey girls.
so I didn't end up having my night off because I took him to mums and cbf driving home so I stayed the night as well. worst idea ever. it was like V's worst night in history.
I swear he woke up 10 times from 1230-7am. not fun at all.
i tried to sleep on the couch but that didn't make any difference

J and his mum are here entertaining V right now. I am just chilling in my room away from them because they are being all ignory and stuff..
have to do this 2 times a week. fun fun.

Brydz - I think that the fact that you hardly know J etc is good enough reason for him not having him whilst you are at work or just having a Brydz Day. Putting Vinnie into care is what is BEST for you. I know you have '18 yrs' ahead of you but are you really going to tread on ice for all of that time? Can you speak to anyone in the legal world for advice? I'm not comfortable with my children being with my MIL anymore, so they don't go unless DH is working 10 minutes away whish is Fridays and Saturdays only so now she sees them on OUR terms. He takes them to her house and then goes back there for lunch and then brings them home. That is what is best for ME otherwise I would be worrying about them all day and turning myself inside out. I have known her since 1991!

Seriously Brydz, if I was closer I would take him in a heartbeat so you could have time for yourself to refresh, recharge, sleep, eat or lay down on the grass & watch the clouds float by. Hang in there matey.

    HI to everyone else.

    Thanks Vix.
I am hoping that we get to round table mediation before the topic comes up for discussion again and can sort out something there. Because he simply won't listen to me alone. I might need my legal back up.

They barely spoke to me last night. Which I suppose is good because they didn't say anything nasty but it was still just weird and awkward.

Tomorrow is his night to go to J's for a few hours. We are going that direction anyway tomorrow for a catch up with the midwifes, will just make a full day of it.

I have been naughty and spending money on him this morning. LOL.
Actually got out of the house. But that is the reason I stay home, cos I spend money lol that I don't really have to spend..

We got a better sleep last night. he woke at 4 and i tried dummy but he wanted a feed/change at 430. then woke at about 7ish and popped him in my bed and had a snooze together.

Mum finally dropped off the lawn mower today YAY and showed me how to use it, so I'll be out mowing my lawns later if I get a chance. the grass is probably 8 inches high yuk.

Brydz- I agree with vix, I won't even leave cooper with my sister for longer than 10 minutes. And she's my sister whom I'm very close with. Its just the fact that she's 18 and very distracted like she prefers to be on her phone or the computer so I'm worried she'll ignore him if he cries. You just need to do whatever makes you comfortable and what your happy with and they will just have to deal with it. Glad you got to get out of the house even if you did spend money (I'm a sucker for that to ) will you plz come mow my lawn, I let the cats out the back yesterday and couldn't find them later the grass is that long lol

Afm - well coopy is 5 months old today, (and so is summer, happy 5 months Sum) DF is on night shift so we went to hoggies (where o used to work) for lunch which was nice and to see people i used to work with. One of my good friends there is 20 weeks UTD and has quite a big tummy now can't believe she's already half way, feels like only yesterday she was telling me they were ttc. But anywho my old boss offered me my job back if i wanted it, he said i can work whenever i want. Im thinking i might go back one or two weeknights a week coz then I'm eligible for paid parental leave by the time next bub arrives, i earn a little bit of money, i get out of the house, and i still get weekends off might go shopping when DF goes to work and start looking for a dress for my 21st only 6 days to go.

See y'all on the flip side
    Peace out xx

hi girls. 20 WEEKS today! omg. what happened to my baby boy. he also learnt this morning to feed himself. held his bottle and drank the whole thing, he only dropped it once. clever bubba. mummy is happy. means no more having to feed him!

raffy - I still haven't finished mowing my OWN lawn LOL. the backyard I started on, and the mower conked out several times haha. The grass is too high!!

hello everyone else. I can't remember what was said.
We caught up with the midwives and other bubs yesterday. They were all pretty cute. V had some fresh pear slices and everyone looked at me like wtf is he eating food for.. but he LOVED it. he cried and had a full on tanty because he dropped some of it LOL. cute boy. I converted one of the other mums to BLW, she gave her bub some and he loved it as well.

then V went to his dads for 3 hours. I didnt end up going to the gym because I couldnt find one o my shoes. So I just hung out at my friends place and the 3 hours went pretty fast. V was happy when I picked him up was so nice. except it was exactly how I didn't want it, they met me at the front door before and after and just expected a 2 minute hand over. I hate that idea. Its like treating him as if he is a puppy or a business transaction. I don't like it.

OMG poor Japan. that is a bad earthquake and tsunami what is going on around the world. I read yesterday too that some wacky guy who apparently predicted the one in ChCh has predicted ANOTHER one for ChCh like next week. Let's hope that he is totally wrong.

    where are all my ladies?????????

Almost a week and nobody has been in.

Well V is doing great holding his bottle. He tends to spew/burp less too because even though sometimes he doesn't hold it high enough, he is drinking it at his own rate and seems to swallow less air.

I tried him with a sippee cup for 4 months + but he couldn't do it without getting frustrated. Never mind, holding the bottle is fine.

Off to J's this afternoon for his 3 hour visit. I'm not sure what I'm doing, will have to get in touch with my mate and see if she is home.

    Morning girls!

Have been reading and not posting. Alannah and I were sick this week. She just had a bad head cold but was thankfully very happy the whole time. Had trouble for 2 or 3 evenings with her waking every hour up until about 11pm but she would then sleep through. I think her congestion woke her. I wound up with a chest / throat infection and am on strong anti-b's atm. Started feeling good yesterday but felt lousy on and off through the day. I feel good today but darn tired. All week my NOah has been waking up to go to the toilet, or to blow his nose (yes...in the middle of the night!) or waking at 5.30am for breakfast. WTF??? DH worked some massive hours this week - good for the $ but the kids missed him like crazy!

Brydz - Vinnie is doing so well thanks to his wonderful Mummy! Great that he like to feed himself. Alannah likes to put her hands on the bottle but not actually hold it.

Raffy - HAPPY 21ST!!!!!!!!! Glad you had a great day. Don't you love rugging babies up in cute winter clothes?!

It has been very quiet in here. I now Pretz has had a horrid week, sleep wise and am sure she'll be back here when she catches up with herself.

Okay, the boys have found me and are wanting morning tea. Strawberries and yoghurt. Not the weather for it though!

HAPPY 6 MONTHS ALANNAH FRANCES!!!!!!! We had Farex this morning. She had a little bit which was to be expected and then grabbed the spoon off me and threw it away! lmao. I burst out laughing. DH took some pics of her and when I get time I will upload them to FB.

    Love to ya'll,
    xxxxx

    Hello lovelies!

Sorry that I haven't posted much lately - I too have been reading on my phone, just not posting as I have had a bit of a rough last week and a half and wasn't in a very good mind...

Brydz - Yay on trying Vinny with a sippy cup. I have tried Noah too, but he just doesn't get it yet....I'm sure they'll learn eventually. lol Great that Vinny is doing so great with his bottle. How was your visit to J yesterday? Hope you got to see your friend.

Raffy - Glad that you got spoilt rotten and got such great gifts!! Did you end up winning anything on your $21 worth of scratchies!? Hope so!! lol Have fun at your party tonight! Should be a blast!

Vix - Glad to hear that you're feeling better. Hope that you can get some rest/sleep and recharge a little. Whoohoo on Alannah starting solids. I'm sure she'll come around and I'm looking forward to seeing some of the piccies on FB later. Happy 6 months Alannah!! Wow, I can't believe how quick that's gone!!!????

Nikki, Meela, Clover, Sparkles and everyone else - hello, hope you're all doing well!

AFM, like Vix mentioned I had a horrid past week and a half with Noah not sleeping. He would wake anywhere between 5-6 times a night and not sleep for long during the day meaning that I had to keep going on very, very little sleep. I was starting to become very anxious and stressed and couldn't deal with it anymore. Thankfully Eng came over and helped to cheer me up and after a lovely, nice chat with Vix on the phone I started to realise that I need to pull myself together. I went to see the GP last Monday and she checked Noah over and he is very healthy, nothing wrong with him, except that he is teething badly. Could be why he was waking so often, although she also mentioned that rocking him to sleep could be another cause, so I have been doing the CC and although it broke my heart and it still does at times, I have been strong and persistant and it seems to be working. I put Noah in his bed as soon as he starts giving me any cues that he is tired and it takes anywhere between 5-10 minutes for him to self settle and he sleeps for 45 minutes to an hour and a half each nap now during the day. At night, I put him in his bed at about 6:45pm and he is fast asleep (without a peep or crying) by 6:50pm. He has also been sleeping right through the night until 6:30am yesterday morning and 5:30am this morning so I'm thrilled! I just hope I don't jinx myself by getting so excited about it. I finally caved too during the week and DTD and although it was a bit uncomfortable, it wasn't painful, but (sorry for TMI) I had some light bleeding afterwards and not sure what that is all about...haven't tried again to see whether it happens again, but I'm seeing my OB/Gyn on Thursday so will ask him about it. lol Also booked Noah in for his 6 months needles for Friday and said to DH this morning that I don't know where the past 2 months have gone as it feels like just yesterday he got his 4 month needles! lol

Noah is on nap #2 already today, his first was at 7:15am and lasted 3 hours!! He then went down for his most recent nap at 13:20pm and I'm hoping that he will sleep a little while, while I catch up on some emails. Got some dinner cooking away in my slow cooker and just had a nice lunch with DH so I'm feeling good today!

    Love to you all!

    Happy 6 months darling Alannah!!

Can't believe our bubbas are growing up so fast! V is 3 days shy of 5 months.. What happened to all our squishy newborns?

I've had a busy weekend. We went to bendigo yesterday (because Friday I fell asleep and woke up late and rang J and said we'd postpone it a day). And then after I picked V up I had a few drinks with my bro in law and friend and we just hung out and played card games.

My net at home is broken. I have no idea why. so I may not get on much until it is fixed (i'm on mums atm).

Hi pretz we must have posted at the same time the other day. Im so glad cc is working so well for you. It has worked awesome here to not that cooper has ever given me to much grief with his sleeping just the actually getting him to sleep so the cc eliminates the pacing the room for hours while he kicks and screams and fights the sleep, so when he shows signs of being tired I put him in his cot and worst case senerio it takes 10 minutes for him to fall asleep. Glad dtd went ok I'm sure the bleeding means nothing. Could just be from not doing it for a while I'm sure the ob/gyn will no why.

Afm - well last night was so much fun just went to a few clubs and danced. My feet hate me today and i have to huge blisters but it was totally worth it. We got back to my friends house at 3.30am and got home at about 3pm. Geeez i missed cooper so much but he was a very good boy for his granny and she loved having him. Went and had homemade pizza at a friends house for dinner and now home snuggled up in bed so I'm going to sleep. Night all x

Raffy - glad to hear you had a fantastic 21st!!

    Hi everyone else.

Im so tired I cant see out my eyes!! Ben fed every 2-3 hours last night. Seriously. Ugh.

Got him measured the other day, he is now 72cm long, not sure about weight, he has slowed down a fair bit and is just growing length wise. 8.6 or 8.7kg or something At least there is a reason for waking up so often.

Anyhoo, Im off to watch a movie and do some ironing while the little piggy is in bed.

sparkles hi! nice to see you popping in. Ty sounds just beautiful. I think the cheekiness is such a boy thing, V is very cheeky too. Little monkeys.

raffy glad that you had a great birthday gorgeous and how awesome is Coop sitting up by himself now! I love the pics of him in his lil pool the other day on FB.

nikki hey hun. wow 72cm he is still growing well. cutie. I might take V in to get weighed and measured because it has been a month and he isn't due to go back until his 6 month check which is another month away. And I just like to know how he's doing.

    hello everyone else!!

    afm
V can sit for about 10 seconds by himself. We've been practising, though he thinks it is funny to throw himself back onto the pillows because they are soft. HAHA. cheeky boy. And then he struggles and tries to sit forward but he can't quite yet.
feeds himself like a champ with his bottles.
J and his mum just left, they were actually really chatty and nice this time. i can't keep up with their moods. don't know how to take them one time to the next. they are strange.

going to visit my nan tomorrow she hasn't seen mr v for a couple of weeks.

hmm, while he is asleep I should get off my bum and cook a real meal for once..
