I will graduate March 2012, I start this Feb. I go to school during summer instead of having 4mths off like normal uni courses. Its only 2 subjects in summer session (one of which is distance so only attending school for 1 subject).
Yep #4 is a maybe now. If I still want another one towards the end of next year I would want to start TTC sometime around October 2011 for an end of 2012 baby.
Sorry havnt got much too say.. Since being back on the pill i have been moody and down in the dumps but on the flip side ive lost a few kgs since going back on it.
I have markets on everysunday so i have been sewing like a mad woman for that. I like to see peoples comments to my clothing and so ive been neglecting my store a little. lol and that stress's me out as i like to be organised.
The girls are getting bikes off my parents and i have a big barbie kitchen decked out with wooden mixmasters, wooden cakes, real metal saucepans etc.. Like mums but smaller scale. My kids have way too much and im sick of everyone telling me so this year i have cut down.
Anyway, back to the grindstone!
Caddie- has something happened I've missed? Is TTC on hold or cancelled?
Just ignore ppl telling you they've got too much, I alwasy get comments about the girls toy room. I don't spend much anyways.
Maz- a mum in my mothers group is German so she telling us about the night, cleaning boots to put under the window. sounds fun. I forgot to ask her the history behind it, do you know how it started from?
Cougar- seems no matter what you do ppl love to gossip! My work thrives on it. I have to admit tho I can be bad with it. As long as your happy and having fun. Oh and tip with trampoline, don't assemble the wrong way! Lol, Df and I put part of the base upside down and didn't realise til we went to put the springs on.
Ash is still up at the moment. There is local carols and fireworks on tonight and shes been going on about fireworks so were keeping her up and go see them. She is invading our only quiet time we get! Lol. Meant to be resting til we go but as if that happens.
so girls I could do with some  and positive thoughts for Jack, he has to have a circumcision and is booked in for tomorrow  I am so scared for him... worried hwo he will cope with being knocked out, how he will be with the pain and stupidly but how he will look afterwards... I also worried he wont trust us or dr's again ... we have been talkign about how the drs are going to make his doodle better etc... but does he really understand I just dont know... we have to leave here aroudn 3.30am to be in rocky and at hosp by 6am he is booked in for 8am I think and he has to stay till he has pee'd and eaten then we will come home...

Shell - St Nick would bring coal to the naughty kids and some food to the good ones onrthe night between the 5th adn 6th. Shoe(s) are ment to be left near the door or window as St Nick is actually seen as a big scarey demon so to speak and he's to be feared, he walks with a big shepards hook looking thing that taps the ground when he comes to scare the shiat out of you even more. I use the excuse to my kids that if theirve been good he'll leave a little pressy and it means Santa will be back christmas eve for them but if theirve been naughty that they wont get anything but a potatoe and Santa wont come for them.
Anna - you go girl!!!! good on you for doing something for you....and then having another baby. I am so freaken clucky its not funny but no more...:shakehead: Maz is a broken spud.
Caddie - so does this mean no babies at all now ?? Shame your cant come in June :(
So who is coming to the Gold Coast in June from here now??? I just spent all my $$$ for it on a new overlocker but hey....need to think ahead for work. I can save up again
We still havent been to Santa  Ive tried doing the Christmas pic thing of all the kids...friggen headache to say the least. I took a good pic of them all but then W is looking away so I cut his eyes from another pic and pasted them over the look away eyes and you cant tell...hehehheh thank god for technology.
Have a question...anyone going to xmas eve mass?????
thanks maz..

Jodi - Is something wrong? I noticed you deleted your post. Not sure what you posted about. I hope all is ok.
Maz - Nope no mass here. I am not Catholic. Went to the chidrens nativity play last weekend, so that was really nice.
Rach - good luck tomorrow.
Caddie - I hope everything is ok with you.
Ok - That's all I can remember as I am on a new page.
Oh - J is sick again with ears and throat. he is having hallucinations again in the night due to his temp going up so high.
Rach- good luck for tomor, I'm sure he will go ok, usually its harder for parents then the kids.
Maz- I love using the santa story to try get them to behave. I'm not sure on Gold Coast I'm thinking on it weighing up the costs. Df keeps bringing up family holiday so we will see.
Meg- is he on ABs? Hope he settles, awful when they're sick and no sleep for anyone.
Jodi- is everything ok?
Yeah I'm fine. I just replied to Rach to let her know I was thinking of her, but she ignored me, so I deleted it.
well seeing as I never saw your post how could I say thanks ... I'm sorry I bothered comign in asking for some support... if I dont see a post and dont reply so you delete it with a why bother for a reason what ever ...
ok then.
I should but really my sleep is more important Maz, plus Im not even sure there will be a xmas eve mass in the inlaws dinky little town
I was going to say something and now I've forgotten what...to do with...hmm...Riv...ah well.
Glad Ash liked those fireworks the other night Shell. Don't think Riv's ever seen fireworks, we should do that with him sometime.

pregnancy is going so so. I have really bad morning sickness at the moment. As soon as Heath gets home each afternoon I go to bed. It's taking it all out of me. I'm hoping it doesn't last too long though.
anna - baby #4 in the near future, OMG how exciting  When do you leave to have chrissy with the inlaws?
caddie - sounds like you're very busy with the store/markets, which is great news!
Hey y'all,
Chrissy - just saw your super sexy pics on FB !
Meg - sorry to hear about J hope he gets better quick, sick kids are hard work, poor J and poor Mummy.
Rach - how did Jack go today, and how are you? Really hope it all went smoothly for him.
Anna - way to go on your studying next year, I am also going to be studying, a post-grad degree in Corporate Governance.
Rikki - Huge Happy Birthday for today.
Maz - no I won't make it up to the Gold Coast next year, sounds like it will be awesome. yeah, I know about the whole photos with Santa - for something that sounds so simple, tis not!!!
Huge big hello to everyone that I have missed.
It was our little man Finn's birthday on Monday, we went out to the Dandenong's on Puffing Billy, the kids loved it. We are going to the Chrissy carols in Mornington on the 20th Dec which should be nice, going to the Childcare Christmas Party this arvo.....what else, just the usual, DH was home but went to Perth yesterday and of course lasst night was the night from hell with the kids so feeling a bit fragile and out of sorts...
Okay better go, have got 3 mins to get to playgroup, think we'll be late as Finn's still asleep..
L xxxx
Happy birthday Finn!!!
Happy first birthday Finn!
Jodi - we leave on tuesday and I am not organised at all! I havent even booked the airport shuttle lol so thanks for reminding me.
Er some days I think #4 wont ever happen; things are already starting to get easy with the boys and Im not sure after 2yrs of being free of babies that I'll want to go back.................then I see a pregnant woman or a new baby and the clucking starts
So Ive started the slow weaning process with Stellan. Ive decided my body has hit breaking point with all the giving of space; nutrients and energy over the past 4yrs and now my health is suffering; so Stells will be weaned at 12mths. Plus Uni start Feb 15th and I will be leaving him for 2x10hr days not to mention all the study I will have to do in my own time so he has to have alternate feeding options. So far he takes a little formula in a sippy and a straw cup but thats just a stopgap til March when I can give him cows milk. Im happy I dont have to do the whole tossing of bottles and dummies thing but man some days I wish he'd take either or both
Im still being slack in finding a nanny; tbh Im trying not to think about what a mess next year is going to be. Im certifiable arent I? I dont know why I thought it would work *sigh*
Freya- Enjoy your time away! I hope you've got portable DVD player or something, long flight with 3 littlies. Good luck with the weaning, just keep offering and eventually he'll get used to drinking from a cup. Thats what I had to do with Ash when I was returning to work just offered a bit each day then one day she clicked and took a full feed.
Laurin- Happy Birthday to Finn! A year gone so fast! I want to take Ash on Puffing Billy I haven't been since 1985. Lol. Is your hubby staying out in Australia or still gonna be working overseas? Good luck with your study too next year.
Jodi- Did you get much m/s with the girls? Hope it settles soon, I remember how awful it was. Do you plan on finding out what you're having?
Cougar- saw your pics on FB! Your hair looks fantastic, I so need to do something with mine, needs some color. As soon as I'm back to work I'm gonna have to splurge on myself.
Nelle- must've been a lie, lol. Thats what we say when we forget what we were gonna say.
Rach- how did the op go? How is he feeling now?
Nice to see us a bit more chatty in here.
thanks everyone for your support and words ...
he did so well with the op side of it, very brave etc, no tears jase went down to theatre with him, then we waited in the day surgery waiting area, they came and got jase as Jack was having trouble waking up but we did have to wake him at 3am to leave here and egt to rocky so he was very tired...on top of everything when he came back to the room he was full of beans after 20min or so, had a huge lunch... talked and watched tv, when it came to going to the toilet :( first time jase took him and he couldn't/wouldn't go he had to pee befre we were allowed to leave so I took him a little later and we sang silly songs and finally he pee'd.. he was so excited he raced out to tell the nurses
we gotback to moura about 3.30pm so long day... he seemed fine so fine we were going to go see santa at IGA, but when he went to go to the toilet the  started he did do a little pee but the blood freaked him out a little so we didn't end up going out.. then when it was bedtime we had to put ointment on and again the tears flowed, but he slept thru the night no dramas I woke him at 2am and gave more pain killer though, he did get up 20min ago which is about 2 hrs earlier than normal he is dozing on a matress on the lunge floor ATM... but I do need to get his nappy off and put ointment on :( not going to be fun
we put a liner in his disp nappy overnight thinking if it stuck we can out him in shower and soak it off rather than nappy sticking  it hasn't stuck and that it doesn't hurt to much when I put ointment on soon
Sorry guys, i go awol..lol Just get busy and so many places i am on!! You all see me on FB anyways!
Just wanting to wish you all a merry christmas and wonderful 2010..
Goid........we have either been really busy or just cant be arsed like we use to
Anyone's little bugger's starting 3yo kinder or fungroup this year???
V was dead against the idea. Didnt want a bar of going until we told her they had playdough....and that we would take her shopping for a 'school uniform'. Yep had to buy something to make her feel like she was going to 'school' and not kinder. Luckily the kinder does have a red polo top as a non compulsery uniform so I bought one from Big W for $2 and a pair of skorts....OMG they are so cute.
Santa bought her a Dora backpack that she keeps taking to bed  and dang...I need to get some sneakers for her. I dont think they'll like her wearing her dress up high heels.
J man is home until next monday on holidays...driving me batty to be honest. I love the man to death but sometimes to much time together is NOT a good thing
anyway hope your all well and that you made if through Christmas and the New Year un skathed
I was just thinking today we'd been a bit quiet in here! I guess the older the kids get, the less constant changes there are...and maybe we're catching onto this parenting thing and have less questions....or maybe just less time.
Boring boring here. A hearing test in late Jan and then speech the day after....that's pretty much all with Riv. Cruisy as usual. Loves talking on the phone, will come running when I'm on the phone and say hello.
Si's getting older and is a bit fiery so the boys rumble a bit...I have to try and break them up and not let them see me laughing. Si's hilarious. He has this shriek like a battle cry, and then kind of launches in head first using his head to hit Riv and also try to bite him, while his little hands are flailing about to get a few slaps in. And Riv uses his long arms and legs to hold him at bay while yelling back and gets a few slaps in too. Very funny.
That's really cute about Vy Maz, I bet she'll look so grown up! That reminds me I have to sort out playgroup, I never called that place back just before Christmas that had a few spots open...I can't quite make my mind up which one to go to...bit slack hey. The MCHN recommended childcare for Riv's talking but we can't afford it, so I'd better sort out playgroup! It'll work out, new facilities are opening up all the time here as the area grows.
Hope everyone else is doing well.
umm no kinder here til term 3 then Annika starts pre entry.. one day a week.. cant say she is too keen on it. Always has been a very timid child when it comes to large groups til she gets to know them.
but she does have a bratz bag she sleep with Maz
wish my man had longer holidays.. was crappy two weeks
No preschool here because SOMEONE wont TOILET TRAIN...................
ETA - hahaha Nelle Rip has a similar move he uses in the boys bouts in the ring  He sort of launches himself at Jetts leg with a "noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" battlecry and then tries to take him down so he can slap him without Jett running away. Jett usually thinks it funny until he's actually on the ground then he's not thinking its much fun anymore. I have to laugh sometimes its quite comical but I pull them apart before anyone gets (really) hurt. Ive copped a few knocks myself getting between them sometimes.
Good luck with the hearing and speech tests for Riv this month Nelle.
Well I have a princess and a tomboy here. Nina is such the princess, always wanting to play dress ups, or dance like a ballerina, or play hairdressers. She loves having her nails painted and wearing lip gloss. She has a little handbag when we go shopping.
Then there's Emily ... She'll body slam Nina if Nina gets in her way. She walks around and throws things off the bench or table just cause she can. Man, she should have been a boy!
Nina goes to kindy already at the daycare, they have a fantastic program. When she turns 4 she goes into Pre-School and she'll be there until she goes to Prep (2012). At the moment she goes 2 days a week, and when she goes to pre-school we'll send her 3 days a week. She's the type of kid that NEEDS the interaction with others on a regular basis. Unfortunately the playgroups in my area are total crap, very disorganised and the mums are very clicky.
Bummer the 2 weeks was crap Ness. How is Miss M, getting better?
Apart from that, not much else happening.
Nelle- we posted at same time... hope the hearing tests go well
Jodi- Miss M is slowly getting better.. still not 100% thought, i hear you on the princess and tom boy thing, Teleah is princess Annika is Tomboy/monkey... the two weeks were great, was so good to see so much of him but it wasnt long enough..
he is so good with the kids, actually comes to family things with us, sea horse museum, maritime museum, Beach, cricket got lots of pics with everything too, really loving it.
Life is great emotionally wise, money wise.. i wish stuff would stop breaking
nope no kindy here either unless a space opens up in term 3-4 then they will call the kids from 2011 up
he starts kindy in 2011 prep in 2012 and grade 1 in 2013
Ah Anna Riv won't toilet train either, he just comes and tells me 'wee'. Well that's great bud, but you're not supposed to wait and announce it afterwards! I just show him where it should go - we're still in the 'awareness' stage.
llo peoples,
Busy here, just general chasing after kidlets, as well as workiing part time.
I don't know hwo asked about kinder, but J didn't get in! So I am sending him to ABC one day a week instead of family day care, and he can do the kidner program there.
Anna - maybe if Jett won't toilet train, that would be an option? TI am sure they don't need to be toilet trained if in a childcare setting.
It is funny to hear about the body slamming siblings. I think the second has to be tougher of they get bashed up!!!
J is going to early itervention also next year, as he is still (very slightly) behind in speech, and as a result of the hearing loss, is (very slightly) behind in some gross and fine motor skills (such he still can't - or more likely won't, draw anything but scribble, pedal a bike, use scissors, or pull his pants up properly) Anyway we will see how it goes. I think part of it is that he is just stubborn, and these are things he has decided that he doesn't really like doing.
Kids do need to be toilet trained to move up to the 4 yr old kindy (could be called something in different centres). And friend of mine is having this problem with her 3year old. He's not toilet trained, and the daycare can't move him up to the room he should be in (for his age) as he needs to be tt.
lilima - it took me FOREVER just then to work out who you are  But I get it now  Good luck with the early intervention. Like you said, it's probably nothing, just him being a stubborn little thing.
He he Jodi! Yeah James calls Emilia Lilima - hence the name!
Well I started back at work Thurs, worked Thurs/ Fri morn then had Friday night out for someone at work leaving party so been a nice break from daily life with the kids. I actually enjoyed going back to work, had good shifts.
Meg- early intervention is great, my nephew did it with his autism and we really saw great progress. They helped in so many different areas.
Nelle and Anna- good luck with the TT they will get there in there own time. Just give them a tree to practice on outside!
Its good to hear about how all our 3 yr olds are doing. Ash is such a girly girl.
As for kinder I've had Ash on waiting list since last Feb for a day at childcare to do there kinder program and STILL don't have a spot, so thought I'd get one now, they offered friday but thats no good for me. Still 3 people ahead me. I need something for her I think she needs to mix with other kids more.
I have started a thread, but I thought I would paste it in here tosee what you guys think......
Ds has beena good sleeper most of his life, but really since DD was born (nearly a year ago) his sleeping has become on and off.
He wakes crying in the night for no reason, except he wants our attention. I go in and tell hom to go back to sleep, then he starts howling and demanding cuddles, and any excuse under the sun to get us back in there. I think I am playing in to his game by keeping on going back in., In the end last night, I just left him to howl. (he woke the baby) He probably cried for about half an hour.
Then it bacomes a vicious cycle. He is tired, i am tired but he just keeps waking.
I would be more understanding of him waking in the night and just coming in to us, but instead he stays in his room and just carries on.
What should I do?? Keep going back in, which I think is feeding his behaviour, or go in once, to make sure it is not something genuine, and explain to him that it is sleep time, and that I won't be coming back in for silly reasons.
Please tell me I am not the only one who has their three year old up in the night.
 Sounds tough. Is there a quiet activity he can do in bed when he's feeling a bit wakeful? You could say, you don't have to sleep, but you can rest on your bed while doing xx'. Riv has a wind-up torch that is pretty handy when I want to keep him in bed, he winds it up and shines it around the room. Would that work?
Shell, we don't have a tree for peeing! No garden at all yet! (so depressing!)
meg..caity has been a waker for ages, and was screaming out for me all the time, i used to get up and do the cuddle thing etc, but it didnt realy seem to work, as she just kept waking and screaming out for me to come in..so now what i do is yell out SHUT UP CAITLYN..sounds a bit harsh, but it works lol, now i only get like 2 nights a week she wakes, i tell her to shut up and she is straight back to sleep( i yell it out from my bed), and when i used to go into her and comfort her it was a eveynight she was waking.
hi to everyone, been busy with work kids, and my new man.
taking the kids to the gold coast on thursday so me and 6 kids, havny worked out if its going to be a holiday for me yet.
Chrissy - You made me laugh! I think I will give the "call out" a try :)
Got to share a funny story
We were driving along in the car, and J told me he was busting for a poo (we were on the freeway) i thold him he would have to hang on and we would be home soon. A minute or so later, he said to me "dont worry Mum it was just a fart!!"
meg - no advice sorry. I do hope you can find something that helps.
But that story is hillarious!!
Have a great trip Chrissy!
