OMG Kate! You certainly are on the ball LOL. I haven't even thought about his birthday yet.

I'm going to have to catch up on the other thread me thinks LOL.

Oh oh oh oh! Cally and PP, I'm going to go to Floriade this year, so would you like to have a meet up? I'm not sure at this stage exactly which day, but I will be coming down and staying a night and I will make use of the great shopping and find a dress for SIL's wedding too. Would be great to meet you - and anyone else who wanted to come LOL.

Recently rolled in from a weekend at the beach. Was lovely to get away. But man, i hate unpacking and cleaning up. Froze my butt off, which is fine, it sould do with a little being frozen off!

Kate, i feel a bit the same sometimes. Never quite sure what to say. It's hard when you can't keep up to have any kind of meaningful input!

I used to have a welsh mountain pony! His name was Chippy and he was cool. He used to eat frozen juice box's as a treat, and the grapes off the vines if he got out! He also used to try and stand on my foot when i was getting on, or turn around and bite my bum!!! Cheeky little thing.

MD- how's the bug recovery going? Was thinking of you over the weekend.

Trill- Definately love at first sight. S keeps asking when we can go visit the J-man again. I think the hair has her hooked.

preg- Lu has a nocternal cough at times which Dr decided was most likely asthma related as i get the same thing and mine is derived from asthma. So she has ventolin, but i hate giving it to her. She got her cough over the weekend. The poor thing coughs and coughs untli she almost vomits. It doesn't seem to wake her up but she has a terrible nights sleep. (as do we!) Fortunately i always have the ventolin with us so i gave her some and the coughing stopped. So i guess she needs it. I just know how horrible it makes me feel and don't really want her to have all the side effects that go with it. Having a bit of a ramble aren't i?

I better go put some crap away........

Rainy, tell your MIL to sign up for FB. That is what we did to the IL's, now we don't have to bother sending photos to them at all. They hint they would like more but I can't be bothered. They also think it is hilarious that I am getting fat which is really irritating.

OMG Kate, you are super organised!

    MD, how is everything going?

Gypsy, I am sure I was going to say something but it is lost in the last thread and I am too lazy to go back and look lol

I have had a couple of playdates with a lady from mothers group, the boys play together really well and W is learning to stand up for himself a lot more when it is one on one child interaction as he tends to just let it go in a huge group. When the other boy takes his toy W chases him saying 'share, share!', it is adorable. But of course she is moving away in August...

I finally hung up a wedding photo (only took 3 years!), and W took one look and said "mum..... in dressing gown". He is so flattering lol

    Hi Girls

Had a full on long weekend. Burnt the candle at both ends and woke with a headache. Funny thing whenever I think about going thru another pg or being pg + actually having the baby I have this feeling come over me like I am going to vomit. Does anyone have this? Maybe I am not ready yet? Maybe its just normal? What do u girls think it is? My bad exp coming back to warn me saying no don't do it?

I think I need to go back to bed for a nap. T in bath now with runny nose she's off to bed after this with warm milk, might do the same.

Kate, I love your arrowroot biscuit idea, but you might want to think carefully before adding large amounts of red food colouring to the party mix .

Trill well I'm already dead jealous of your Floriade catch up. What a great idea to come up and make it a weekend! Apparently it's supposed to snow in Canberra today?!

Rainy, Poo to her! Just let it wash sweets. IF she can't say something nice she should keep her trap shut. I'm thinking she must be just like the grandma I had a run in with at the shops the other day: obviously has a small and miserable life. xxx

Supa - did you have MS bad last time... or are you just scaredy about the labour/birth thing?

Arte - wow you must have a LOVELY dressing gown . Those playdates are great. My friend (who just had her new bub BTW - little boy called Elijah - bit of a shock, she was sure she was going to have a little Tabitha) has a DD who is 3 mths older than E - it was a huge gap a few months ago but now that E's getting closer to 2 it's evening out more.

Ange - good to burst that welsh pony bubble - they're all a teensy bit nasty aren't they? Shetlands are, that's for sure ...bit like some breeds of small dogs (not Bosty tho, he's either a hounddog trapped in a miniature body - or maybe just some unidentified species of rodent LOL). Your weekend at the beach sounds divine! I've got a nighttime cough that sounds just like L's - glad she got some relief. Hopefully you won't need to use the V very often, but reassuring to know it's there when you need it, kwim?

Well the landscaping fiasco continues - it took DH FOUR goes to get the sleepers in place ! Turns out he had difficulty understand the difference between LEVEL (as in with the horizon) and parallel (as in to the path which is on a slope). There was a bit of swearing LOL. Anyway lucky for me I was busy doing an impromptu cleanout of DD1's bedroom (make way for birthday goodies!) so the day wasn't a complete waste. Removed two huge garbage bags worth - one of trash and one of charity goodies. Will give Missy E's room a clearout just before her birthday too - when it will be time to clear out the bubba toys .

Well the House of Lurg continues. Have DD1 home today in a vomitous state Pity I was all geared up for a big day of getting things done.
