Noni so great to hear from you hun! If he is feeding well and the boobs are feeling good, then stick at it - you're doing so well!! Just think, you have already fed him for longer than you did Asha without any problems at all, so that's an excellent achievement in itself!

Hey Kate! With the food thing, we had HUGE problems with Erin at this age and she would only eat a few mouthfuls at dinner and then she was done and it would take her forever just to do that. It caused some pretty big tantrums (from me ) because I had gone from having Lindsay who practically inhaled food ( still does LOL) to Erin who ate like a sparrow and it sent me mental most of the time. What I did was just stopped fighting her on it. I would always serve up to her what we were eating and if she ate it, she ate it and if she didn't, she didn't. I never have her anything else to eat immediately after her dinner so she didn't think "oh I know she will give me something if I don't eat this" but would wait half hr or so after she had left the table. She eventually grew out of it and started eating everything on her plate (still sooooo slowly though). I couldn't do what Ange did with Erin because she is that stubborn and pigheaded that she would rather not eat at all than have to eat all her dinner kwim? Alister is like Erin in that I serve up what we are having and he will take it or leave it, or just eat the bits he likes but there is no *fight* to get him to do it. I don't worry about it nearly as much as I used to years ago because I know that if he's eaten well during the day, then it doesn't matter if he doesn't eat much at night.

Oz, I hope the first day goes well for you both. It will get easier for you Great plan to have a coffee with a friend though.

G, Unless they are really crook with fever/chills and over tired, I will still take them out if they have a snotty nose cause sometimes I just have to. So long as he is warm he would be right. LOL at your Dad treating Lewis, Alister gets the royal treatment over at the IL's too and doesn't eat lunch or dinner once he's home.

Well I had an early start to the day - 4.30am! Alister woke up and before I could settle him again he was standing up with his pillow asking to get out of bed. He didn't want to hop into bed with me so I put him on the lounge, put the telly on and come back to bed. He did sound a bit croupy too. He came in a bit later asking for a bottle, so I gave it to him and put him back on the lounge and then he came in again with his empty bottle so I picked him up, put the bottle on the sink and then went to put him back on the lounge and he threw up all over both of us, then on the loungeroom floor, then the bedroom floor and then the loungeroom floor again! So when I got us both cleaned up, vomit cleaned up best I could at 5am I stayed in the loungeroom with him where he went back to sleep, I dozed till the kids got up at 6. he is absolutely fine now - had a vegemite sandwich for brekkie, then two teddy bear biccies and just had a bottle and it's like he was sick at all. I think it's just because he was coughing and a bit phlegmmy that he threw up. So that's my day so far LOL.
