I guess NooBoob will settle once all the post-op swelling is gone? I think you need to treat yourself to something very sexy and very lacy once you can ditch the ganny bra.
luckily "WHY?" has passed so it's not the reply to every single thing you say LOL. Which is good because it does your head in. You're Lucky MD because you will only have had to do it twice - I've had to do it 4 times
Back from our little holiday. Unfortunately a kid that screams and runs inside any time the wind blows tends to not like the beach lol. We didn't even end up going to the water, he would have a meltdown at the suggestion because it is 'too windy for William'. However, we did get to catch up with all my family and we hosted an Xmas BBQ which was good.
MD, so glad to hear about your pathology results and that Nooboob is settling in well.
Clare, wow! L eats more than I do! She must have a super fast metabolism. Where in NZ did your DH go? That is sweet that you still miss each other when you are away. DH and I used to speak on the phone for at least an hour every night when we were younger, now he sends a text every couple of days if he is bored lol
Ginger, are you happy with the decision to stay? In an ideal world I would like to move a bit closer to my family, but there are no jobs for DH in that area so we would take a massive pay cut and the housing is at least twice the price of this house so we really can't afford to move.
Trill, glad you had a good trip away. I was really looking forward to playing at the beach but Captain Disagreeable made sure that didn't happen lol
I saw that Jazah left a message on the facebook page saying she was busy atm, but I haven't had a chance to reply to her.
We have been getting the questions for a while - he asks the question he wants to answer, so you repeat it after him so he can answer it lol. He has started coming up to me saying 'what shall we talk about' and then I have to think of a topic that he wants to talk about.
sorry for being a bad buddie....... there is a ton to catch up on.
The kids are all ok... Livi is amazing she is now fully toilet trained and even goes down for her sleep during the day with no pull up on. Ahhhhhh Life if good........ The boys are good too and all 3 are looking forward to seeing what Santa brings them..... sooo cute. I have had a bit of a throat infection last week but am all good now. Father in Law has done a runner on the MIL and we have since found out he is back in the Navy and in Darwin..... Drama Drama Drama...... A bit hard to explain to the kids but we told them he is on a boat again and they seem to be happy with that....
MD- Hugs for you
ART- Bummer on the wind at the beach but sounds nice to catch up with family
Sherie- Congrats on going to uni
so great to hear from yuo leanne - sounds like a drama filled time atm but you sound so happy...WOW on the TT, that must be great!
I, too, am so sorry i havebeen a bad buddy. life is just hectic atm and i dont have a lot of time on here! today's drama is that it turns out i wrote the car off last week so we are on the hunt for a new car (fast). do any of you have a ford territory - thinking that may be the way to go so i can fit 3 car seats in when the time comes...
clare - wooo hoo on dh coming home. sounds like you and miss L had a fun weekend
MD - so happy for you. i hope you have a wonderful xmas and NY and can put this yr behind you. i am so glad that 'journey' is coming to an end
sherie - your hol sounds FAB. we are off to the coast this weekend for a week too.
Arte - N is also not so into the beach, but loves the rockpools..
both of my boys are good - N and I had a throat infection but are lots better now. J has only had 3 feeds overnoght the last 4 nights so i am hoping we are through that horror waking every 1-2 hrs...
he is a babbling monkey now - just today i noticed he is saying sounds like ma ma da, ha ha ba etc. still isnt rolling... geez does he sound like someone else i know?? i am off to the physio with him on thu as i am a little worried he is stiff in his limbs...i am sure i am just paranoid..
Have N kindy party this arvo - fun! then at the end of this week i have him home for 6 wks with the kindy shut down and our hols and then i have taken him out for mondays so i will have him home more.. i feel like i can cope with that now...
J needs a feed so better go - will try to be ona little more. much love.
Leemar: drama on the high seas it seems! was it totally out of the blue? i guess 'grandpa on a boat' would be good enough reason for the kidlets at this age...
WTG with livvi on the TT! eeensy teensy bit jealous LOL!
Arte: oh dear! what was he afraid of? or was it just the whole idea?
MP: not sure on the car babe...but seeing as though they are so popular with the families there must be a reason! i think the kluger is also a fave for parents...should ask leanne what she got!
Sherie: yeah i am not looking forward to the 'why' stuff i have to admit. my mum still retells stories of me with horror in her eyes lol!
MD: ahh so the granny-bra is like a pressure stocking for the boobies? how long does it have to be used for? and yeah i second Sherie....you soo deserve a MASSIVE splurge on luvely ladie lingere when it is all over...
AFM: all good here. got to hold a new baby today (she is 8 days old!!). a girl at MG had her at 38 weeks and the girl weighed 2.7kgs...just like Leila!!! but in all honesty i just can't remember DD ever being that small IYKWIM (i know, i know cliche and a half lol! but so true!).
Dh got home yesterday! and yes, distance did make the heart grow fonder  LOL!
i took the day off work and we just hung around the house and strolled for coffees. good to have my family back together i must say. ATM we are hiding in the house away from the heat. and tomorrow will hit about 39...i guess it will be shell-pool time...
Hi lovely friends i've missed you all sooooo much!!!
Have a little time on the putie - as Hannah is asleep, and J and Z are doing something special for my b'day, so i've been ordered to stay away.
I have only caught up on the last page, so i do apologise if i have missed any important information.
MD - i'm so happy that you are home and that your new boobenheimer is settling in nicely. You've been in my thoughts constantly.
mp - i shed a couple of tears reading about your car accident How horrible for you. I'm sure your angels made sure that N wasn't in the car that day.
noni - loving your av.
sherie - sounds like a wonderful holiday. Congratulations on going to Uni next year. I think you will ace it, and be a fab teacher
Ginger - my dad asked me what i wanted for my birthday, and i told him a Country Road gift card. (told him just to pop into the local Australia Post) Just after i spoke to him, i got an email about the 30% off. Mum is going to look after the girls for me so I can get there at opening time. Hope you find some good bargains! I'm after a pair of sandals i saw, and some knee length shorts.
arte - sounds like A is growing beautifully. wonderful that you got to catch up with family while you were on holiday.
clare - sounds like you had a lovely day (and night ) strolling together. Sounds lovely.
Hello to all of you other lovelies too
afm - you may have noticed on FB that we've started toilet training. I was worried at the start - but H is doing splendidly so far. She hasn't had any accidents for the past 4 days, and we went shopping today with a pull up on - she went to the toilet twice and came home dry. I'm so proud of her. I do know that we could have a lapse soon. But at least i know that she 'gets it' now.
anyway, i'm hoping to stay tuned and keep up with you all.
YAY Jaz - I am so glad to see you. I have missed you SO MUCH!
Clare - I am with you on the TT. N showed interest a while back but now isnt interested at all. and getsupset if we speak about it. so my continued investment in nappies continues...
Happy Birthday Jaz. enjoy your CR spending spree, i think i know the sandles you are talking about- are they the pale almond ones? they are gorgeous!
if you don't end up finding knee-length shorts there, i got a great pair from Witchery- v flattering and comfy.
we are not doing TT here either. he just doesn't seem ready yet. i figure as long as he is trained before kindy starts, then that's ok.
i caught up with junglemum (falguni) today and the kids had a ball. little S is a dare-devil and i think lewis was leading her astray a bit! LOL
Jaz- WTG Hannah on the TT Hope you have a wonderful Birthday tomorrow
MP- OMG I havent even got up to reading about the car accident I hope you are ok. Sorry I dont know much on the ford terriorty. I have a landcruiser and love it.
Claire- FIL- Long drawn out story so condensed down FIL and MIL have been together for 15 years and he leaves her at least once a year..... But this time its for good and I am glad..... I am mad cause the kids adored him and he didnt even say good bye to them so I say he is on the ship and they are ok with that as they are way too young to understand......
G, I didn't think CR would have anything left for you to buy LOL.
Alister is completely not ready to TT yet. He loves wearing his 'spidermans' now but it is like having an un-housetrained puppy. He wets them and then takes them off and gets a new pair. Thankfully it has only been wee I will let him keep wearing jocks though because it's cooler than a nappy. Oh the little bugger has become very adept at undressing himself too LOL.
MD-welcome back, so pleased to hear it went well + ur new boobenheimer is looking good. U u so brave, + should b so proud of urself, we are aren't we girls? So let's give MD a BIG massive round of applause!! Hip hip 'hooray'! Hip hip hooray! *everybody clapping*.
Trill-good 2 hear its not only my toddler who likes wearing undies and then telling me after they become wet! Ha. She is starting to despise nappy pants. Happy Birthday!
Leemar-heck sorry about ur FIL. That's sad for the kids.
Mamapan-u aren't the only one lining the huggies owners pockets, T has become disinterested in telling me poo coming or wet nappy. I am sure its only for a time.
Art-glad u had a nice time, W is so funny about the wind. Really inconveniencing him. Lol!
Leemar- wow on the successful tt! Well done. Its also amazing she wakes up dry from a sleep too. How long is the day sleep?
AFM: I had the sore throat thing too! That makes about 3 of us. Feeling a bit better today, was sick sun + yest. T is obsessed by lollipop and icypoles. Lol.we can thank grandma + grandad for that one, along with the 'donalds' obsession. When driving she calls out 'I see donalds' or 'I see hungry jacks!'. The other day we were whispering about our wild birds eating the birdseed we have outside for them and daddy came home and I whisper 'tell daddy what the birds r eating', to which T replies in a whisper 'donalds'. Then she laughs and says 'funny T'.
happy birthday our dear friend Jaz! hope you have a fabulous day with your gorgeous girls and wonderful DH. I am keen to see what he buys you this bday after the fantabulous image consultant gift...hope it involves some wonderful pampering for such a busy and special mum. xxx
