Arte, no tube hanging out (although that does happen, that's called a PICC or central line). Mine was like a little flat pill box sitting just under the skin. To give chemo/take blood, they had this little short needle that they poke into it (in a sterile field). Not yuck, not even hurty. Pretty bloody clever actually. I asked to get one because of my crapulent veins, soooo glad I did. Even gladder now I don't need it anymore. Still sore and a bit dozey today. They've given me a certificate for a whole week, so I'm not expecting to bounce back straight away.

Poor little A. Why is it whenever they fall over they always hit the corner of something LOL? Missy E split her lip when she was just over 1, blood everywhere, but it healed up nicely. She does have a tiny little scar but if you didn't know you wouldn't notice.
