We went down to the beach today. It was heaps of fun, but not fun coming home to an empty house. I miss my dog. William is still thinking about it a lot and the poor cat looks so sad. The dog raised her from when we found her as a 3-4 week old kitten. Before I took Chim to the vets the cat was licking her face and sat next to her while she slept

In other news, I have corrected the lack of any Christmas presents for me by buying a heap of linen for our bed. I got 2 duvet covers, a wool underlay and a valance cover for $250 from an online shop which is less than half of what the shops charge. And Ezibuy have Superking size - the King size bed we bought in Australia is a Superking in NZ and it is hard to find any linen for it. It should look good in my newly painted bedroom.
