Spiddles, it takes around 24 hours and you really sgouldn't breastfeed in this time, it is in your milk and will go to your baby. if you want to go out drinlink you should express enough milk for 24 hours worth of feeds then after you have drunk express (for comfort) and through out your milk and give the other expressed milk for the day. Especially as Liam is still so young it really isn't a good thing for him.
