When I was on the pill it was a monophasic pill, but it did actually contain both types of hormones.

It was wonderful! I went from having heavy, painful, irregular periods to being able to control when I had a period. They were also much lighter and heaps less painful. I couldn't cope at all with the triphasic pills as I still had the same heavy, painful period, I just knew when it was going to happen.
